My car (2006 C280) refused to start today at the filling station this evening after toping up fuel. It has actually done similar thing some months ago when I had to leave it be while I went for the shoping I went to do ab initio. When I called a Kazim and explained to him the situation, he just asked me to use another battery! Behold, that was exactly what I did and it jumped back to life.
Please, what could have drained the battery or could it be that my alternator is failing or the battery is? What other issues could have caused what happened today? Thank you, I hope I get solutions as Saturday is only free day I have to fix it against future occurences.

Did you get the Battery/alternator warning light before the problem?
Have an experienced mechanic look at the seat control modules( driver side and passenger side)
Also, the overhead control panel will drain battery if it starts to fail.

I need advise and suggestions, my C230K restoration is almost complete but there's an issue with the gear shift.

It's not engaging, the gear shift can't move from either Park to Drive and vice versa normally until u change it to drive from under the car, if you wanna stop, you'll change it back to park from under the car, what would be the causes and possible solutions to this please.....Once its engaged from under the car, it drives very fine and shifts well from Gear 1 to 5

Hello All, please I need your advise and counsel on the plumbing work below. The plumber advised we connect the water pipe through the parapet because of better water pressure and because the Stanchion would be placed very close to the building, hence the pipe connecting the water tank to the first floor won’t be noticeable. While the water supplying the first floor passes through the parapet, the one for the ground flow will be connected to the building underground. Please I need your advise if this is ok or otherwise. Don't connect the water supply through the parapet...this will not increase water pressure rather it will decrease it.
There will be no enough head.The best solution is to use weight of the water from d water tank to drive pressure.....as the water descends from the tank it will gain pressure to push up.

This is wrong.
A pump rated for 230v 50Hz will require 230v to drive the electric motor shaft. Doesn't matter if it's 0.2hp,0.5hp or 20hp
Anything less will be inviting trouble.

If power supply will be constant I will suggest you look in the direction of having the boiler on the ground and have a pump to circulate..
Note: Hot water pipework/reticulation is different from fresh water...consider type of pipe,insulation...e.t.c

1. I used a tank stanchion. With three tanks.
2. The internal work were thick grey and green thick pvc pipes all through . ( Only God knows if it's thick, I wasn't there)
Pressure pump will definitely hit hard on that pipe work.


There is duplex in front and a twin rented flat behind ..the stanchion that serves all the building is behind. So I guess the pressure isn't sufficient due to the long run to the duplex in front hence some toilets are starved. I really don't know how to solve that problem.

The same same Duplex has wet walls downstairs. I got a plumber to come check it out, the guy broke walls claimed fixed it but walls is still wet and it's spreading.
The down flat behind does not get any pressure at all
It's tank is at middle of the Stachion, there seem to be enough head, but it seems there is a blockage somewhere. The tank takes time to fill up and tank goes down fast without occupants yet in the house. Though there are workers who use water ones in a while but that's not enough to consume that much water in such a short space of time.

Just multiples issues here and there...

Open up inspection chambers, septic tank and check if there's a steady flow in any of the chambers or septic tank.
Size of pipes,number of bends used for reticulation will determine pressure/flow rate..unfortunately, many people don't consider this, even architects, mech.engineers don't get this right most times.
Check for locked or stuck valves in the areas where there is no flow.....if valves handle is turning in any directions without stopping, it's most likely stuck in closed position.

There is really not much you can do on this on your own.
Get the services of a competent plumber..

Meanwhile, what happened to the plumber that did the job, he will be in the best position to make corrections, this will be hard for you but you will spend less with him than getting a new person.
