Ibrahim39: Please I don't know what to do. I submitted my visa application on the 24th of June and did my biometrics the second day which was 25th June. Earlier was showing an information about system update that we should ignore 'action required notification' if we had already done the biometrics or the medicals. The message on the immi is no longer there and it's still telling me to provide biometrics. Please what should I do? Ignore it. It means nothing |

Mma24: Good evening house...
Please I got 50% scholarship from WSU...which means that I will have to pay 3,150 for the two years and 7,850 for a semester.
The problems now is that my agent is still insisting that I provide 13 to 15m bank statement, but I have only 7m.
please kindly advise. Also is English test compulsory? Tho I intend writing next month. 10m is going to be sufficient in your case. You do need to get a statement of account where funds are held for long period and with good inflow. My visa was recently denied solely because of that. Support your application with sponsorship letter. It's better to do English test. It won't be a problem for you. |

Cmagnum: Hi Shupy, sorry you got a refusal. That stuff hurts.I read your post some weeks back or so, and saw where u pointed not attaching your sisters other account. Here are some point I want to draw to your attenrion: from the CO’s reasons, I can tell
1. The account has good inflow, but the outflow is high, leaving the account to a very low balance at the end of the day/month. This means that the business makes lots of money but they are not sure it will be able to cater for other expenses outside the business needs.
2. Let’s assume the balance as at 09/03 was enuf for your first year needs in Australia, but evidence from previous months shows that the said amount may not be there as at the time of visa review. Or possibly They even verified account and discovered it wasn’t there.
My suggestion/Idea:
1. My advice is inform account holder about these complains and see if money can be held for some months to help your 3month SOA have a great increase in monthly balance. What that means is that “say they leave 10m at the end of business in June, then end of July they leave another 15m, so closing base for July becomes 25m plus” if this is done for the length of your next application, I believe it can help. But here’s the challenge, that not a good business decision and is difficult to keep money that could generate more in an account.
2. In place when suggestion 1 is not possible, then i will advice you plead with the SOA owner to provide as much as possible other investment documents, properties, bond investment, personal cars document. In summary anything that has great Value to show he/she can actually afford buying things even with the low ending balance.
Please note: this was purely my thought and it has got no embassy stamp or anything. It’s just a man to man advice based on thinking and reasoning. So you may ignore if it doesn’t sound right to you.
Wish you luck in your next application. Thanks man. I actually intend to reapply very soon. I might still be able to meet July intake.I'm just weighing my options. 1. My sister could secure a loan from her bank and attach a letter from her bank stating the loan was secured for the purpose of sponsoring me. 2. Get a statement of account from my Aunt who is highly ranked in a top notch bank but doesn't share the same surname with me. I only have pictorial evidence from years ago that might be able to prove relationship. |

"I am not satisfied that the applicant meets Reg. 500.214 (1) and has genuine access to funds for his costs and expenses for his first 12 months in A/a. I have considered that the applicant requires AUD 30,140.00 and while the balance on the account on 09/03/2019 appears to be sufficient, I have placed weight on the fact that the balances drop to low levels and funds are not held for long periods. This leads me to have serious concerns with regard to the applicant’s genuine access to funds. I have noted that the applicant has failed to provide any evidence that indicates ***** have an overdraft facility."
My visa wasn't granted solely because of that reason. This would have been avoided if I had attached my sister's 2nd corporate SOA with a more stable balance but I felt the one I submitted would be sufficient. It had a balance of 11.8m and an inflow of about 170m but the balance on some days were very low and money are not kept in the account for a long period.
I intend to reapply very soon. Good luck to other applicant. I hope someone learns from my experience. |

Ojasope1: Thanks your response, what documents will he need to apply for a visit visa to Australia
They are both not financially bouyant so I dont think the school route is an option for them. Oga, you better go and read more about this partner visa yourself. I'm not a pessimist. The student visa I applied for has highest rejection rate but I went on it. I'm hoping to get my grant very soon. Once you make more findings on the internet, you'd understand why I said it's a long thing. Australia marriage visa is expensive, complex, frustrating and time wasting. A Nigerian passport won't help the situation. The chances of getting a visit visa is extremely low with a Nigerian passport. And once an application is rejected you might not be eligible for a partner visa again. Like @WestAfrican said, the other and better option for you is to apply through student visa and then get married in Australia. If the marriage is not a genuine one, tell whoever the person is to forget it. Australia is no America #My2Cents. |

Ojasope1: Good day everyone, I want to enquire for a friend. His Australian girlfriend wants him to come over for marriage, though the girlfriend is willing to come to Nigeria first for a visit.
1. What category of visa do you think he would need to visit Australia
2. What do you think it's best, should the marriage take place here in Nigeria or Australia.
3.Can he apply for Partner visa while on tourist stream visa in Australia if the marriage is held here in Nigeria.
4. What documents would he need to apply for the visa.
5.With the conditions stated above, what other options do you suggest?
I look forward to your response seniors in the house. Australian partner visa is a loooooong thing. Just forget it. |

Donbates: Hello everyone, please House gurus I want to know if it's possible to delete/edit already submitted visa application documents.
I'm self sponsoring and have a worry that my FD certificate of #6.2m seems small although I backed it up with land deeds worth #4.1m. My school is an AL1 cadre uni which means I can apply without an SOA (I didn't know this earlier). The application was submitted a week ago.
Please kindly advise. You can't remove an attached document, you can only add . And your school being an AL1 doesn't nessarily mean that a SOA might not be required at some point in time. Your balance is truely a cause for concern. |

Newbetterphase: It was stated on the refusal letter. Environmental management, intended program is environmental management. School is UNSW I DMed you. Forward the letter to my mail. You probably didn't satisfy some conditions. I know they act funny at times but you being single cannot be the primary reason for the refusal. You can always reapply but you must address the issue in your letter. |

ikwechegh: Hello gurus in the house, I have a little problem. I have a 4.2 cgpa out of 5 in computer science(2.1) and I applied to Flinders, got an offer but I haven't accepted as their fees are expensive so then I went on to apply for federation uni Master of Technology (software engineering ) and i just got rejected this morning from the school saying my qualifications don't meet their academic requirements. I had an IELTS score of 7 too. The only academic requirement on their course page was a 3 year completed degree or equivalent. I meet the requirements well. I applied through an agent who's based in Australia and I submitted transcripts, statement of results etc so I don't understand the basis of their rejection because I surpass their requirements. Should I reply them or just move on to another school? Reach out to the school yourself, telling them you don't understand the basis for the refusal. Make them understand you met their requirement and you actually have an offer from Flinders university. Be very polite in your approach. And by the way, did your agent forward the letter to you? |

hallelluyah: Good afternoon house, please I want you to kindly educate me: I work in a Nigerian commercial bank and so couldn't get a job role for PR. Besides I am around 41 years of age at the moment. Because of this, I am deciding to explore school routes now. I wish to go for M.Sc Finance in Australia, January 2019 admission through a school agent. With this decision, am I good for it in terms of PR in view? Also, if given admission, should I apply for visa together with my family of 5? Is there possibility of gaining PR when I get there considering my age of 41 now? Perhaps you explore Canadian routes to PR. I dont know much about it tho. There are just so many hurdles conidering your circumstance. I'm no expert but your chances of getting even a student visa is slim. |

Well, reach out to the school and see what they say. It's safer to use a recognized English prociency test during visa application because your case officer might not accept anything else. |

While their requirement is overall 6.0 and 6.0 in each band score. My question is, can I provide an English proficiency from the school I passed my first Degree to meet the admission requirements. God will definitely see us through Firstly, is your offer a conditional offer for English? Secondly, you can only provide a recognized result of English proficiency test. |

And you're not helping yourself by not giving more details about your HND course.
We all used google before coming here for further enquiries. If you don't want to do that, you can pay an agent to guide you all through the process. You are likely to use one at some point. |
