Imadeosarodion: My father is my sponsor and he owns the business though I am member of the board of trustees though, we haven’t paid any tax yet, and what pay slip are you talking about because I am not being paid I was the one you chatted with sometimes ago on this issue. Your agent is making things unnecessarily complicated for you. The SOA, letter of sponsorship and CAC document should suffice. Or is it your case officer that's requiring more evidence for source of income for your sponsor? |

Gracie2000: Pls guru in the house assist l recently lost my dad and the burial is May 4 am supposed to resume April 1 is the any way I can apply for deferment to start in the next intake section of June with out have to apply wa fresh visa. Then long can you stay back in Nigeria before resumption if the section starts by April 1. I'm sorry about your Dad. You won't be needing a new visa for deferment of admission if the school grants you. However, you'd have to apply for a new visa extension while studying there. |

Uzee24: Can someone please helpout here? Being a self sponsored won't help your situation. And yes, 12m wont be enough considering your fees. They can ask for SOA. About being able to pay your fees by working as a student? I doubt the possibility. NOTE: I am not in Australia, I'm just about to start my visa processing. |

Random200: Mostly, they said cos I am young and unmarried, working in a family owned business and I haven't demonstrated that I have intentions of coming back. Can I reapply given the said reason for the refusal? What can I do? The money wasn't the issue. If I decide to reapply, what do I say? P. S- I studied 3yrs undergrad outside nigeria and I returned same month I finished even tho I had an extra year visa. Can I include my visa and exit visa? How to I write a new compelling sop if that's possible? Your SOP should have been more convincing, and Yes, you should have included the exit visa. They want you to convince them you'd return to Nigeria after your studies. |

I am really sorry. Refusal must have been a painful experience. You can always try again, I have seen testimonies here, but what are the actual reasons stated?. They must have explained the reasons you didn't meet the GTE requirement. Perhaps you didn't demonstrate incentives to return home. |

Ogalanyaidi: Evidence of income could be his cash inflow and outflow as most of his clients pay to his personal account. The inflows shows the payment description.
He's an MTN agent who sells airtime, data, gotv subscriptions etc. At the end of the day what matters is a convincing SOP that can be supported with documents. How will the course he is going for enhance is business or career. A convincing motive is very important. You've already gone through this process so you should know better. |

Ogalanyaidi: Hello guys. I'm in Australia but my brother was denied his student visa because the visa officer claimed that 1. he didn't attach evidence that his business in Nigeria was registered. 2. that his family ties in Nigeria is not strong enough. 3. That they do not feel that he's got a job to fall back to after he completes his program. 4. Lastly, because of his marital status(single)
Now, he has decided to register his business, and provide them with his CAC certificate. Another option is for him to get married and attach documents for some of his landed properties.
Pls advice CAC documents might not be enough especially of it's newly registered. Do you have evidence of income or tax payment?. Anyone can register a business with cac |

Certification of documents is only necessary when submitting photocopied documents. We're submitting original documents so certification is not required. |

@Lifted0902 I can't answer your question as I'm not an expert. What I can say is that you would have to check if you meet the requirement of the assessing body of your occupation and the nominating state. Once you think you will meet both requirements, calculate your points to see if you would reach 65 points. All you need to know is online. |

Ytechconst: Thanks. My qualification was obtained from Government Technical College in Ikotun. certificate and diploma plus trade test certificate in Cabinet making works I got a long time ago since 2004.
Infact I never thought the certificate would be useful to show me the route to Australia, all other degree and professional certificate I have couldn’t. I'm so happy for you. Your occupation is not competitive at all. Try to see if you can get state sponsorship to make the process faster. You've already crossed the biggest hurdle |

Now bold enough to step into deep preparation for test of English. Targeting 20point in English test. I’m sure with good preparation and prayers I will scale through it in no time. Wow....congratulations. You have one leg in Australia already. Did you get your qualification in Australia? |
