Seconded ALL THE WAY

@ Yawa  - that second one is perfect - just beautiful - presentation, color, text color, text size (LOVE), information displayed IS CONCISE, spacing of sentences EXCELLENT.

Very impressed missy - very impressed with you. The overall appearance of the website (a complete thumbs up)

@ Data

FYI: (for your information)

I adore alot of things too numerous to count.

I adore your site too for the information it houses - just rearrange it in a manner that makes someone want to reach out, touch and HANG AROUND it.  That is all I am saying.  No offense intended on any level as I do really think you have something "really great" here.

Abeg - I love your site - I love it very much

But it is TOO MUCH INFORMATION - crammed up in a very small space - if it HAS TO BE on the Home Page - move it around - Headings should always be larger than subheadings (that is a rule of thumb)

Someone with money who is older would take one look at this site and close it - they would walk away - they would say IT IS TOO MUCH READING.  Older people like quick, fast, easy - they have spent their life - working in convoluted manners - mark my word, the majority of them don't want to retire struggling to read and sort out when the information can presented in a less convoluted fashion that makes it "easy for the user."

This is too much

However - the beauty of this site is the multiple opportunities that are listed

Question:  Why is it listed as though it is a "Table of Contents" for a book?  It is in "List Form" Is the font size  7, 8 or 9 point?

These are some basics that you should have in your subconscious when formatting the appearance of the "Home Page"

I do love - absolutely love the content of the site - but it would scare off readers who really need to stick around long enough once they open the site to gather and collect the information that the site presents because it is very important information.

Don't do injustice to the information on the site by presenting it to the public in this manner.

Just my 2 cents.

I love it - very, very nice - I also love the text - though it is grey - it isn't faint and hard to read - the U.S. has a very large percent of baby boomers that are 40-70 and that population as they age - need glasses to read.

That population is also the population that holds the primary wealth of the country - so the text is very legible and easy to read - whoever chose it chose wisely

The video insert is very good  too - I like

I love the colors, the artwork and the simplicity of the overall appearance as well.

gosh I just re-read the article - it is dated April 2011 - this is October 2011 - that article is old and hasn't been updated - that travel announcement.

ok - I thought it was recently updated - I knew about this back in April.

OK all is good - it won't stop my travel.

Who cares what the US thinks. I think Nigeria should equally warn Nigerian who're travelling to Baltimore, maryland and Detroit, Michigan. These are the crime capital of America.

The should also endeavour to pull out Chevron from Nigeria. Britain should do the same. Hypocrites.
I agree

i have this black american in my office that would do anything to remain in nigeria. he has been here only 4 months. we have foreigners of different nationality but he prefers to hangout with the nigerians. He goes clubbing with us, weddings, trip to Takwa Bay. we even had some naval guys stop  us with guns cos we stayed at takwa bay beyond 6pm and he enjoyed every bit of the begging. he would take a bike than go with the company vehicle to their residence. he just loves it here. we gave him a nig name already
Welcome to Black Americans we are used to drama - a large majority of us, we face it fearlessly more times than naught - we don't fear much of anything whereas the majority of our white counterparts - over exaggerate and run from any and everything.  They fear black americans  (the majority of our intent has always been misunderstood by them and always placed in a negative light)

And foreigners are feared even more so, hence the warning that was sent out.  Just know that those of us who are going "to do" are going "to do" regardless of warnings.

I know you are just messing around - you are harmless - I have read your posts on many different subjects.  I like Dyt - she is needed on NL - I didn't understand her at first but the more I read Dyt - I like her - she is funny and she is cute - I agree.

I also like Pendo89 for you - I think I have to agree with you - "she is the chosen one" - her posts are dynamic in nature, very helpful and she and I think alot alike - I also like Harakiri's posts as well and Kingsleyinfo.  Many different writers - I like their posts and their words as they make sense, they are intelligent and extremely helpful.

If you are going through something and you need advice or even if you are just reading to learn - you might not be experiencing what they are experiencing yet - their words are so wise that it will benefit anyone that reads them for future usage.

Dyt really wants a passport and visa - we should help her - she has to get outside of Nigeria - she deserves seeing what is out here - her persona will take her places - it will.

My backside hurts - I've been sitting so long - a good work day though.

yayayyyy!!

You know Lax

Dyt has a really beautiful photo and I like her personality - it is friendly, funny and she is really out there with her honesty.

You do have to hand it to her.

She isn't stuck up and ignorant acting like other usernames.

She is quite likeable and better than a lot of others I have run across.

She seems or appears to keep it 100.  She also doesn't a foo.l and attack people.  I rarely read her "raising her voice."

quote by harakiri
Can you define what you mean by "EXOTIC CAR"? How many "exotic cars" have you seen with your two eyes in Nigeria and how many of the owners live in the so called "poor rented houses"? Poverty has really cooked the brains of Nigerians. Exotic cars are the likes of Bentley,Rolls Royce,Ferrari,Porsche,Lamborghini,Mercedes,BMW,Aston Martin,Bugatti Veyron,Maybach and so on. These are exotic cars NOT Toyota Camry and Honda accord that I'm pretty sure are the so called "exotic cars" you're referring to. In the western hemisphere, a lot of people drive good cars and still live in rented apartments. There are millionaires who have no houses of their own (a lot live in hotel suites for years) so what are you talking about?

quote by Jerryben12
Depends on your thinking and environment. In the US, UK etc, people live in mini apartments and drive nice cars. Their thinking is different from Africans. These people buy these cars as a measure of their needs.

arsenefc:
Thats not new to us cos thats how we do our thang in Naija. Everynow and then, people die, we lose planes, some due to turbulence, others from intentional sabotage, no big deal.

We are a country of 150 million, not counting those in the diaspora and those wanna-bes like you, whats losing 200 people here and there. Death by plane is life's change agent for our middle class in Nigeria. It clears out the not too old to make way for the new. If not death by plane due to incompetence, then more likely by road as our roads are death traps, no kidding, and if you are lucky to escape death by those means, you can always count on your family members and relative unhappy with your N 150, 000 per month bank job  to make sure you are dead before your 50th birthday, voodoo, food poison and what not. And the thing though is that we like it that way, thats why we are the happiest people on earth, with life expectancy of 47.

Welcome to Nigeria. You like the rest of us here, may or may not see your 50 th birthday, depending on how often you travel within Nigeria. For the OP, only one more flight with Chachangi and he is a gonner.
Let's hope and pray that future generations including the current generation can opt on "living to reach 100 years of age" as the new "47" so they can be happy a whole lot longer. lololololol - oooo my goodness

thanks for the "heads-up"

lololololol - oooooo

I worked for American Airlines here in the U.S. in 2005-2007 - NEVER WILL I FLY AMERICAN

Here is what I found out - American doesn't OWN any of their airplanes - they LEASE THE PLANES - I don't know what they are up to in 2011.  What tripped me out was that  though the airplanes are very clean as every night those planes had to be cleaned - the commuter airport in Wisconsin - Madison -I can recall a few planes flying in that were OVER THE WEIGHT LIMIT.

I recall one incident specifically that the pilot was sooo angry as soon as he landed in Madison from Chicago - he demanded that a luggage weight test of every bag be performed as the plane was being offloaded - he stated that he had problems taking off and problems holding the aircraft in the air.  Sure enough the plane was over its weight limit.  EXTREMELY OVER THE WEIGHT LIMIT - The plane was uploaded in Chicago at the corporate location for American.

I was stunned and frightened and I CANCELLED all tickets I had purchased for myself and family members and friends on current and future flights that I had already purchased.  I have never flown with American since.

So now I hear about this airline with dirty airplanes, ticket sales on the sidewalk to the highest bidder, passengers being loaded from the tarmac and names not matching the manifest.  After hearing these well documented accounts by MORE THAN ONE passenger.  I fear and wonder what maintenance is being regularly performed on the body and engine of the aircraft itself.

shocked shocked shocked huh huh huh
