This man left the whole ND to focus on Bayelsa alone. Fed Uni Bayelsa too |
I don't get it. |
thomasthomas:Lack of intergrity on INEC's part fueled the election rigging tendencies of our leaders too. Could you imagine what would have happened if Akpabio and AkwaIbom PDP was left to the fate of the people? They would have listened to you and I, knowing fully that they can win our support but can't steal it and Akwa Ibom would have had her industries in full blast. INEC is highly culpable. Even though it took a Northern agenda for the Owners of Nigeria to counter election rigging tendencies. |
OP is trying to say ben bruce had the total power to run NTA aground. |
lyntiffany:Thanks for the enlightenment. I am a fan of Aregbe and feel he is a top performing governor in terms of Industry based development and infrastructure but wouldn't stop criticizing him in a bid to get the best out of him. Akpabio ought to have revived those industry completely and turn Akwa Ibom to an industrial hub that can employ the unemployed, generate income via tax, and positioned his people for a life after and outside oil. It is funny how people think every politician must be given only 100% or 0% mark, a total support or no support in all things. Akwa Ibom is far better placed to beat Ogun state in terms of industrialization. |
Very soon they will get Shekau. I heard he fled to ISIS stronghold. |
Buhari to the final rescue. |
I am against Cramjones on this one. The message the messenger is preaching is too weighty for us to start muddling it with the identity of the messenger here, if it takes ex-thieves and usurper to liberate us from the shackles of 70% recurrent expenditure, then so be it. Murray Bruce ride on. |
Ymodulus:They are like ISIS but they draw inspiration from no particular source but greed and glory. |
Hello NL |
subair1989:I checked it. Strictly for developers.Thanks |
DahtzFestjayz:Point of correction this is not a 2 months project and can't be tagged a last minute project. |
babajero:Everybody has the right to self determination abi! SS don't want to share with anybody, they don't want to share 'it' with people who voted them into union one Nigeria . . . Lol |
Really! How is marginalisation measured? Whatever they do they shouldn't forget to separate SS from SE. Everybody has the right to self determination and the SS don't want to share with anybody, they don't want to share 'it' with people who voted them into union one Nigeria . . . Lol |
The Yorubas did not vote collectively but individually. OP, step up, your thread is wack. |
The north once had tin and it is on record that the tin producing north willing gave what was demanded of them by the law, in fact most SE/SS (old Eastern region) liked the idea and voted against other regions leaving them alone in 'one Nigeria'. |
Character is the keyword. Many don't know the expectation of character part of their standards. |
shadowgwalker:Did u type this from the shadow brain or the real brain? Did I tell u prosecute is what is written in the article? Otondo bigot!!! |
They simply followed the national cake |
I remember after a particular meeting by some key Northerners they came out and started hinting us abt the ungovernable next few years we will be witnessing. |
He he he |
What do you expect when you choose not to prosecute others. |
talktimi:If Aregbe is in the midst of vast opportunity what do we say of Bayelsa were natural gas littered all over the state can power any industry imaginable? Aregbesola is still a top 5 or 6 governor any day any time |
BlackTechnology:What is wrong with cocoa farming? Look, there are no dirty jobs but dirty men. The above can be deduced from the Nigerian oil romance story. Before oil came there was life, and by life, I mean a better life. So what's your stress about oil. If care is not taken that oil of your neighbor you so much crave will be will worthless than the pipeline and tankers carrying them going by global trends. How many of the so called owners-of-the-oil governors have done half of what Aregbesola has done in terms of IGR? Your bigotry may not let see what I am after by criticizing Aregbe here, but don't confuse it with him being anywhere near as clueless as your regional leaders. |
Gbawe:I think you made 100 percent sense! Since it was officially a rumoured report, it will be safer to treat the report with some level(high) of care. That being said, I think most state are in debt because of lack of vision and zeal for the masses. Aregbe is an example but still far more better than most of his colleagues. |
BlackTechnology:We know those who can't build political ally beyond their nose. Those who are ready to make porridge with their vomit and go on a begging spree for political appointments. Those who have been recycling their political and economic vomit since before independence. People who will rather crash Nigeria to justify their mistakes. |
BlackTechnology:May you not run completely mad very soon. Same Yorubas who you choose to accuse out of blind hate are the very who people stood up for Jonathan when he was relatively unknown to them in 2010-2011. They voted him in 2011 and 2015 massively. The fact that the contest in SW between both major candidates was a close one simply points to the fact the occupants of SW are much more independently minded and did not lay back for for few miscreant to help spite their percieved enemy with massive rigging. |
Its nice to hear that states are not being owed allocations. @OP, I think Osun annual allocation is closer to N25B than N50B. This is why the states must go beyond sharing of funds to people and start getting involved in industrial developments. Imagine if Osun had replicated the idea of Omoluabi Garment Factory the funds he wasted on Oyes, Feeding, OponImo and many other exorbitant expenses like ghost workers and political office holders salaries. The ultimate will be industries, even if it means creating small industrial hubs and powering them with diesel plants of 500 KW or more. Aregbe could have gone further to establish farms and food processing factories to compliment what's available in Osun state already. I think it is high time the FG makes power generation flexible and allow more financially flboyant states like Delta, Rivers, Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom and co start firing power plants. |
