RomanceRe: Why Does NYSC 'Kill' Relationships? by sillyboy(m): 10:50am On Sep 25, 2007
As Far as am concerned, the NYSC is a waste of time. Its just unfortunate that the Government has made it compulsory.

The fact that the scheme breaks relationship is very true, but is it the scheme or the the structure? Apart from Lagos, corp members hardly get something to do during the 1 service year. It could be so boring when one is so unfortunate to serve in these not too developed areas.

Believe me, even good and holy girls and boys turns to mischief after a heavy dose of boredom they can no longer stand. There is absolutely no recreational facilities, so they end up with sexual activities as the only form of recreation. And when one get entwinned in a sexual relationship with another, it brings about seep closeness. this could erase whatever relationship that existed before then.

I "rolled" with two ladies that were engaged during my service year. the first one actually got back with his fiancee but the other wasnt that fortunate.

Boredom is one of the greatest reason responsible for all these.

@ Topic.

The experience of a broken heart could be so painful and demoralising. I got my heart broken just once and the experience wasn't too good because i was still quite young then

It happened in my second year in the university(2001) and i was just 20yrs then. I loved that girl more than my life then and i believed she felt the same way too until she came up with ace. she couldnt even find a better day to do that to me except on my birthday. undecided

The only thing i can advise is to brace up and look before u leap

Sex on a first date for me will be a pleasure but I will not really trust that babe. I dont think anything serious can happen between us. I love girls that play hard-to-get, they challenge me and drive me lipsrsealed

again sex on a first date will just be a bonus track!

However u want to see it, both are to make u feel goodwhich make them to eventually be irresistible.
both try to fill a void,a need. I do maintain my stand that they are indeed comparable in these regards.
Love gives you a kind of joy that goes deep down ur soul not like drugs will do baby

Cocaine may make u feel good and numb your pains temporarily but it will still kill you in the long run.
same applies here.
That's not a straight comparison dear. cocaine and matter of the heart is definately parrallel

RomanceRe: Is It Right To Date A Married Man? by sillyboy(m): 4:49pm On Sep 17, 2007
@ Cute ass. I really dont know how to explain this to you, but there are some things that just happen that we really dont plan for. The man wouldnt be able to call up the woman to tell her "stuffs" and divorce most especially when children are involved.

I just want to let you know that "stuffs" like this happen without pples planning for it. undecided

You are so good and articulate, so i guess its gonna be quite hard to make u see things from the angle am seeing it. It's quite hard for people to follow my thinking path most especially if they dont have a brilliant silly head like mine. undecided

May I ask u guys this quetion?. . . . . . .

What do you think abt a young woman falling in love with a married man? Is that wrong, looking at the broad meaning of love?

you guys are onlly looking at it from a point of view of lust or greed. How about if the feeling is true and real love?

@ Cute-ass.

I quite understand you believe me. But I still feel one's happiness is still paramount than anone else. I see no reason to please my spouse when that will make my life miserable and sad

If it happens to anyone, I will simply encourage the person in as much as it makes them happy. Life is quite short!
RomanceRe: Is It Right To Date A Married Man? by sillyboy(m): 3:58pm On Sep 17, 2007
But, if things are that bad, they have a choice - split up / divorce. Not have affairs, whilst still married! Huh You can't sit on the fence, have your cake and eat it. You have a choice to make, it's not compulsory to remain married.
I want you to note that extra-marital affairs usually preceed a marriage break up.

@ Cute-ass

Cutey, it's possible that my opinion to you is a no brainer, but if u look at it deeper without sentiments you might just get what am driving at.

The fact that some couple are married does not give assurance that they are gonna be happy together all thier lives. And if you ask me, I believe one shouldn't deny himself or herself happiness simply because of marriage. dont you know that some marriages are just not mendable

would you be happy if someone was dating your man?? if someone was dating your dad in the living presence of your mum??
Now some will consider your question to be rude and somewhat derogatory, but to me it's just a question which I will glady answer.

If my dad has been making my mum sad and he's not happy himself, then I guess I'll support him and support my mum too. I think it will hurt me the more to see my parents sad and still living together like enemies. That kind of environment is not healthy mentally for all parties involved, the children included. I guess the best way out is to seek happiness where you they feel wll help, even if it means seeing someoneelse.

Thank god my parents are together and still make themselves happy. But if the table should turn, i guess you know my stands now.
