Shut ur mouth. Am an Urhobo from Ughelli South.

Ibori the odidigboigbo of Africa has the best political formula in Nigeria. Each senatorial zone has produced the last three governor's in Delta State.

Ibori - Delta Central made up of only the urhobos. 1999-2007

Uduaghan - Delta South made up of the Ijaws, Itshekiris and Isokos. 2007-2015

Okowa - Delta North made of the Aniomas, Ikas, Kwales etc. 2015-2023

An urhobo governor from Delta Central - 2023-2031

If what ibori did in Delta State is replicated in the country, Nigeria will be a better place.

So no hope for APC in this election since their candidate is an urhobo man who only comes home when there is an election.

Eku ile eyin eyinmi

I greet you all.

I will like to mention that the issue of Lagos is a serious case that every single Yoruba should pay attention to. How can a group of people migrate to your ancestral land and call you ancestral land a "no man's land" and you smile with them. Please let me ask you a question, If you do not have a heritage where do you come from ? I mean right before your nose, strangers are claiming your homes and calling it a no man's land. I mean how do you introduce yourself to your children.

Kids ::::: Daddy where are we from ?

Father ::::: Kids your ancestral home and that of your fore fathers is no man's land Lagos

Kids :::::::: Why are we from No man's land but Emeka claims he from Enugu.

Father :::::: Well Emeka is from Enugu because he's father and those people him have homes and villages they can be traced but you are a lagosian, no village nothing; you are a vagabond with no history because Lagos is a no man's land

Kids:::::::Ok at least if I go to Enugu I can be elected there or even be a king there.

Father ::::::: Well if you try it is possible

Kids go to Enugu and try to be elected after suffering and investing

Enugu People ::::::: Ndi Yoruba you can never be king or elected here. Your father Awolowo betrayed us

Kids come back home

Now if you are a yoruba man and a Lagosian Awori/Ijebu/Egba and Egun and you smile without cutting the head of the person that says your land is a no man's land, then you are an illiterate.

Forget your education. If the White Americans know their land and Australians still trace their root but yours is "No man's land" then sorry to say but you are a fool.

If you cannot protect your heritage and think being educated means being a fool then I am sorry we are not all fools.

A good example is the House of representative woman in Ajeromi-Ifelodun Rita Odichi Orji was born into the family of Late Mr. Festus Akuenyerenwata Chimara and Mrs. Celestina Chimara. She had her early education in Orlu, Imo State, before moving over to Lagos where she made her home until her election to the hallowed chambers.

Rita Orji campaigns in Igbo language and does empowerment in Imo state thereby taking money meant for Lagos empowerment to Imo state.

This is to tell eyin omo oduduwa to wake up and smell the coffee. This is not tribalism; this is us protecting our heritage.

No ethnic group will allow what we allow in Lagos state. Urhobo, Hausas etc don't gloat on us but Igbos do and we should not allow it !!!

Enough is enough

Quote it to me please. I've not heard of such
Igbos are a very identity conscious people and deserve there own country that is my honest opinion, the law is called state of origin where you are originally from and igbos in pdp have been trying to change this law through the national assembly to state of residence we lack morality in Nigeria I know many federal companies where igbos don't let other ethnic group get into position as if we ain't one Nigerians look from what I have personally suffered from igbos u guys discriminate a lot and are evil I can't go into much detail I know

Why are you so scared of the Igbos? There's no law that forbids someone from contesting an election anywhere. If you yourself were to contest an elective position in my state, I wouldn't think twice before voting you as long as I know you'll perform. That's how sensible people act. You're being tribalistic, how has it helped your life? Bro I wish you would realize that we're not helping ourselves with this, we're only dragging ourselves back.
Let's stop the hate please, for our own sake.
Shalom

Isiokpukpu:
You still sound threatened by the present of Igbos in your land. There is a popular saying that says that one doesn't feel threatened in his fathers house. I see no reason why a hard working Yoruba man will be threatened by the present of ever busy Igbo man in his land. No doubt, Lagos is a Yoruba land but same time its is also part of Nigeria and Igbos are Nigerians. Therefore, you can't stop them from moving around in their country. Being a citizen of Nigeria give them the right to reside to any part of Nigeria without owing you apology. It is never on record that Igbos forcefully displaced their host their possession.

As for bigotry, it cut across every ethnic group in Nigeria. If it is not ethnic bigotry, it will be religious one. Up north they are fighting themselves, same in the east and the west is not left out. You haven't seen a Yoruba man castigating his fellow Yoruba man before?. Ijebus are the most hated tribe within the Yoruba land. On the other side the only bigotry Igbo man has shown in Yoruba land is to be successful in what he is doing and at same time being proud of his accomplishment. Have never heard that Igbos are discriminating against Yorubas in Lagos. The two ethnic group has been living peacefully until the selfish politicians came to divide both along their ethnic lines. This crisis is always high during election period.

There are Mega cities in the east, you have to travel round the country before making assumptions. The biggest market in the west Africa is in the east but the truth is that the east is highly competitive. Those that can't make it at home travel out of the region to explore the available opportunities in the target areas. Having a mega city in your domain doesn't guarantee success. If it is like that, Chinese won't abandon their world class cities for a place like Nigeria. You claim to live outside Yoruba land, why did you left your mega city for other region?. My brother get busy and be successful and you will see all these bitterness will disapear.
you have made solid points but lemme correct you quickly every tribe in Nigeria has successful and unsuccessful people the list of igbo of igbo bigotry is endless bros nairaland is a typical example
Now on discrimination I have personally experience this one well the federal company my parents worked for (phcn) before it was privatised the md/ceo was yoruba growing up as soon as he retired and an igbo man got there only igbos became md/ceo a high number of yorubas had to request for transfer to other stations
Now the Chinese don't migrate in droves only a few migrate as experts a mega city close to igbo land is the perfect solution as there is cultural similarity between South East and south south and dere is population
PoliticsRe: Call Tinubu To Order, Bode George Tells Buhari by Simbrixton(m): 2:10pm On Feb 28, 2019
Isiokpukpu:
Bro every right thinking man knows that Lagos is a yoruba land. Igbos can never fight over lagos with the Yorubas that is why once an igbo man dies he is ferried down to the east for burial. No igbo man despite the number of his properties in lagos will like to be buried in lagos. This issue of no man land was a child of spirit of hustling which igbos use to encourage their fellow igbo men to hustle hard. It is a reminder that Lagos is a hustling ground and doesn't belong to any of them. If you own something you don't need anyone to tell you that same thing belong you.

However, you are wrong when you say igbos can't decide who rule Lagos state. First, they are Nigerians and the law permit them to do so. Also that same law permit them to contest for any elective position in Lagos state. Secondly they live and operate their business in Lagos and pay their taxes to the Lagos State government, therefore have every right to vote or be voted for in any elective position in Lagos State. Threats doesn't scare average igbo man. In fact they love threats and competition because it bring the best in them. The more you threatened them, the more they come all out to prove you wrong and that is what is happening in Lagos right now.

The best you can do is to join them in there game, compete with them and believe me you will enjoy every part of it. You will learn a lot. Don't feel threatened in your own land. Thug life can take our youths to anywhere.

Insecurity is one thing i noticed in mind of every yoruba man that has been shouting igbos this igbos that. What are you afraid of. Go out of your comfort zone and experience the world in general, out of fear you say no. While in that your comfort zone which is your papa house you are still shouting like a kid who just had a nightmare. Igbos are never a threat to anyone. Their only is crime is that they succeed in every environment they find themselves. If i may ask what boundaries are you talking about, aren't igbos Nigerians anymore?. Please is it a crime for igbos who are Nigerians to exercise their constitutional right in Nigeria?.
i am yoruba and I live outside Yorubaland without igbos dere would be less bigotry in yoruba land discrimination on the basis of ethnicity in companies and many problems will vanish if the Igbos feel so different from yoruba and can't integrate with us why can't the federal government build a mega city similar to lagos in the Eastern region and they stay there we all want peace you guys should think about this before relocation why not stay in portharcout or edo or delta after all an igbo man is the governor of delta if the urhobo are comfortable with you guys why not stay there

There is nothing you can do. It's a very bitter pill you must swallow and live with it, refusing to accept the reality and accept it as its , heart ache is inevitable . Even more Igbos won this time around(Go and check the records) and come 2023, the number will increase again.
Even your darling APC gave a lot of Igbos ticket to avoid loosing like they lost in 2015.

Politics is a game of numbers and Igbos have the numbers in SW.. You can only rant on nairaland and nothing more .. You can't do more than that..
. The only thing that will save you is if Nigeria is balkanised and Igbos have their own country. By they if you start crying that Igbos are dominating you in your land, then people might give you a listening ear, but as for now, igbos must keep enjoying the dividends of one Nigeria.

Meanwhile Igbos have been elected as lawmakers in different countries in Europe, I haven't seen any of them crying of domination, yet you vulture have been disturbing the cyberspace with your usual domination song.. You can't eat your cake and have it back..
which more igbos won lol

So you want to force Igbos to vote APC? If you understand history very well you know that Igbos can not be forced to do anything. If you like carry nuclear bomb, if they want you dey want you and if they don't then they dont It takes only Nanmdi Kanu to incite Igbos and you will see real conflict in Lagos. APC and their thugs should be careful.
yawns my togolese tenant told me a different story and stories I hear from the north is different from the nonsense you just wrote in South Africa the story is different you guys are being killed in so many places without nuclear bomb sef
