Chai ! Inflated numbers up north that can't tally with registered voters. APC will set this country ablaze with their plans. Lord I have voted and that's all I can do but removing buhari is what you can do. Have your way and let your will be done. |
I was disappointed seeing that the card reader can't stop rigging . BVN is better because you must use the bank for registration and vote . Online voting machines and vote goes to the collection centers with proves to who voted for who . Is raining now in Aba and I hope nobody can tamper with our votes. |
SirChime:Till now no materials provided. No inec officials and people are getting worried . Some are coming and going out because of this logistics problem here. Send help. |
Reporting from Obingwa in Abia state. People are here waiting for Ince and its already 8am . Only the Domestic election observers are here with us .
|
datola:That can be a sign for him to amend his evil ways and stop lying to Nigerians before the end comes. |
PearlStreet:Don't get it twisted , Bubu is lifeless because he can't even stand a live debate because of his dementia problems but the cables hooking him up not to retire in shame gives bubu fake hope of a lifeline plans to set this nation in flames or his continuity. But note this his fauilour is irrefutable and their plans will not stand. |
"YOU CANNOT PUT A CROWN ON A CLOWN AND EXPECT A KING...." History Being Repeated? In 1983 : $1 = N 1 £1 = N2 ; Volkswagen Beetle = N1,400 ; Food was in abundance ; Kids were in schools; Businesses were booming with vibrant economy and people were gainfully employed ; No illegal arrests or media trials ; Rule of law was maintained, etc. | | | But, on 31 December 1983, he and his group struck, under the pretence of willing to tackle "perceived" widespread corruption", and, within few months : . $1 = N15 £1 = N40 ; Volkswagen Beetle car = N8, 000 ; Kids dropped out of school because their parents couldn't afford their school fees anymore ; Businesses closed down and relocated to other countries ; Foods were rationed as people queued up for essential commodities ; Many Nigerians lost their jobs because the economy collapsed ; Innocent Nigerians were arrested for free speech and human rights violated with impunity under "Decree 4" ; The Constitution was suspended, etc. He blamed Shehu Shagari's administration for the mess. He blamed corruption, yet he jailed Dr. Alex Ekwueme (the then Vice President) but left Shehu Shagari (the President) in his palace. | | | But when another group threw him out in 1985, within few months, Nigerians started smiling again. Our kids returned to school, food was in abundance again, Nigerians got their jobs back and the economy was revived etc. | | | In 2015: . $1 = N175-190 £1 = N289-320 ; Cars were affordable, with local manufacturers smiling to the bank ; Food was in abundance (at least a bag of rice was N7, 000, etc,) ; Kids were in school ; Businesses were booming with vibrant economy rated #1 in Africa after recapitalization ; No illegal arrests or media trials ; etc. | | | On 29 May, 2015, when he was 'Jega-ed' into power : $1 = N315-510 £1 = N550-610 ; Local car manufactures shut down their plants due to harsh operating economic conditions ; Famine was unleashed on Nigerians and a bag of rice rose to N22, 000 ; Minimum wage remained N18,000 ; Kids dropped out of schools; Businesses closed down and related ; Millions lost their jobs ; Inflation is in double digits, etc. Just like in 1985, he's blaming corruption and his predecessor for the same mess he and others before him created within few months of assumption of office. Now in 2019 waiting for the election. THE CHOICE IS OURS. One repeats : "YOU CANNOT PUT A CROWN ON A CLOWN AND EXPECT A KING. |
A Clarion Call In Defence Of Our Constitution I have received the news of the sudden charges about to be filed against the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Walter Onnoghen, with apprehension and suspicion especially as such a move against the head of an arm of our government is coming so close to an election in which the Buhari administration has shown growing desperation. My suspicions are further exacerbated by the fact that the Buhari government is pressuring an independent and self governing arm of government with the aim of getting CJN Walter Onnoghen to resign or be pushed aside. I stand on the side of the rule of law and believe that a person is innocent until proven guilty and note that a media trial is no trial. If Justice Walter Onnoghen is guilty of the charges about to be preferred against him, let his guilt be determined by a competent court of law and not by the Buhari administration. The executive cannot usurp the role of the judiciary. Nigeria is still a democracy and not a fascist dictatorship as President Buhari may wish. Any attempt to force Justice Walter Onnoghen to vacate his office, 4 weeks to an election for which the unpopular Buhari administration has shown every intention to manipulate, is a move pregnant with negative meaning. I see no reason whatsoever for the ongoing pressure by the Buhari government to force Justice Walter Onnoghen to vacate office when he has not been convicted for any offence. Nigerians may recall that this government has a history of manipulating the law against the heads of arms of government it considers unfriendly to its cause. A case in point is their malicious prosecution and persecution of the Senate President, Distinguished Senator Bukola Saraki. The IG of police have not been retired and that of the military that supposed to be back as normal men but they want to put a new agent in case of any court case after election . All the political parties should set up and oppose Apc before its too late. Enough is enough. |
President Muhammadu Buhari during the presentation of 2019 Budget in Abuja. Twitter image Eniola Akinkuotu, Abuja President Muhammadu Buhari has denied insinuations that he asked the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to stop the probe of a former Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Senator Godswill Akpabio, after the latter joined the All Progressives Congress last year. Buhari said this during an interview aired on Arise TV which was monitored by our correspondent. The President described as unfair allegations that he was protecting some corrupt persons in his government while those in the opposition were being hounded. When asked why Akpabio, who was under probe for allegedly diverting N100bn was left untouched, Buhari said he did not know but he did not instruct the EFCC to do so. Bubu what do you know ? Clueless papa. |
If all the mad men and women are cured in Nigeria, buhari won't have a supporter. Enough is enough. |

I guess it is still a mystery to you on how the British back then prefer to relate with northerners than Easterners. The truth is that they came to the weak link ( mentally weak, morally weak and intellectually weak ) and people that can be easily controlled unlike the strong Eastern part and empowered them. And their good observation worked for them knowing that under this people leadership there will be zero achievement and progress which will in turn help (britain ) them remain in control. |

IrokoOluwere:When I read comments like this one up here I wonder how you reason . OBJ can show his and inec rule said you must present your credentials to the officials before being qualified. Can I ask ,that you were popular in school qualify you a job without presenting your credentials ? This is evil . Many their certificates got burned can't get a job but someone in same country is a president without certificates. Shame . |
Nnamdi Kanu in his statement, mentioned that his dog "jack" was killed during the military invasion. His dog was worth the space but he couldn't make space for the very many people killed that day at his residence and others that were killed before that day during those phyton dances. He couldn't even remember or chose to forget their names or even use a compound noun to group them. Perhaps he is also not aware. He didn't even deem it fit to mention those still in kuje prison. The people arrested along with him but he managed to get bail and they couldn't. For one year, some people risked their lives protesting and demanding for his where about, many faced police brutality. Women with children locked up in prison for days and all these didnt make headlines enough in his mind to have mentioned it yet his dog "jack" got a space. For those who get on the streets to confront fully armed military men in a Buhari era just because Kanu said so, i have one word for you.... you are "OYO". Sir fisto [/quote Who asked you all these stories you are telling here? You said he was killed and biafra is gone . How did you feel to hear his voice yet again ? I have my doubts about the timing of all these movies happening in this area of the world . Fingers crossed. |
