Am presently in ghana, been here since 2015,,,, and i would rather starve than eat soup or ghana rice,,, first it has this offensive smell and taste horrible..some find it delicious dou but this *my own personal experience so please no insult* .. i was forced to locate all the nigeria shop and resturants,,, even where u can eat correct fresh fish banga soup with starch .
Ghana is like every normal african country if u ask me,,, just that the crime rate here is less, they have good vacation places and the light is steady. Apart from this , ghana is no different from nigeria...

The truth is that the psyche of an average Nigerian has been irreparably damaged by our politicians to the extent they see ulterior motives in every act of charity embarked upon by selfless individuals.....
They have become chronic pessimist and hopeless cynics......

I remember when I was helping a young lady through uniben by paying her school fees and giving her monthly stipends.......
Nobody believed i didn't have anything intimate with this girl.........
Even when i invited her to my church to participate in some empowerment programs to help her start a business in her hostel, the wrong notion persisted.....
People just couldn't get to understand why i should be of assistance to a girl I'm not sleeping with.......
Only my boss believed me, and that was because he was equally into such act of charity in his catholic church.....
This was a girl selling recharge card on my street, only to walk up to me one day that she got admitted into uniben but has financial challenges.....
Her parents were not going to support her, rather they want her to travel to Italy......
People's reaction to my story and yours explain why this country is in a present mess it is right now....

I reside in UK now and what i noticed about their citizens is the strong passion they have for charities, both home and abroad.....
And yet we wonder why their country prosper....

What u did is noble and i want u to continue, u gave this girl good publicity and u never can say where her helper will come from....
And for those shouting about poor kids hawking on the streets.....
There's nothing stopping u from picking one on your street and changing her life......
Enough of being internet critics, u guys should do something real for once.....

I made these points when the abuja- kaduna railway was being constructed. These chinese dudes encourage us to take loans at zero interest rates but everything about the project comes from their country. Let's assume 60 percent goes back to their industries in china and at the end of the project, nigeria still owes them the full amount they borrowed us.
Like the emir said, why not borrow in a sustainable way? Why not focus on projects that will better the lots of Nigerians economically? Why not make great roads from states like benue, jos and other agricultural communities to cities like lagos, portharcourt ,Kano and to the ports? Truly nigeria lacks vision less leaders

Most persons will be sorry when they are caught doing wrong and expect forgiveness without any form of consequence.

I believe if someone is truely repentant, he/she is also 100% ready to face the consequences of his/her action(s).

Let's paint a picture now: 'you have two kids and about to serve dinner. When you got to the kitchen, you caught one eating meat from the pot so you got angry and decided to punish him. However, the child cried and pleaded for mercy and forgiveness and you did grant him both'. The question now is 'would you still serve this child meat on the dinner table in the presence of the other knowing that the other is also aware?'

What the church is doing is teaching you and others a good lesson and you will accept it if you are truly sorry.

How do these disparities in marks help students to buckle up and compete with their peers? Why is there a distinction in marks between males and females in some states? What message do they drive by that?

It is the worst practice to keep this up! Even if it's supposedly to close educational gaps, why is the wide disparity on cut off marks still maintained? For the number of decades this has been practiced, does it mean that aim had not been achieved? What is being done about it?

So what if unity schools are no longer the best? Do they automatically belong to some more than others? Is this how to go about fixing the fallen standards?

There's a fix quota for each state.....
A child is suppose to compete with peers from his/her state.....
Failure to do so doesn't give her the moral obligation to blame the child of an aboki for her own inadequacy......
The aboki child also has to compete with her own peers from northern states to get in.......

I'm yet to read any article that wrote how this northern counter-coupist sat and discussed how to kill fajuyi......

They sat down and planned how to kill Aguiyi Ironsi
Ironside had been marked for death, they were determined to get him anywhere, anyhow......
