People no longer obey Ncdc protocols. This explains d alarming increase on each passing day. Let government stamp his ground by ensuring all citizens obey NCDC protocols. The Daily increase of infected persons is now becoming worrisome.

jaydeevaa:
as it stands now, falling ill and going to a government or NCDC affiliated hospital is a big risk. because once they detect either malaria, cold, cough, sore throat or catargh; they automatically diagnose you to be infected with covid 19. Someone in my work place has been diagnosed to have covid 19. The rest of us have been tested, though we're yet to get the results. One of the agents of NCDC called one of my colleagues last night and told him he tested positive, he should quickly go into self isolation for 2 weeks after which he will be tested again. No drugs were prescribed to him. And that has left me wondering, what the heck is going on?
uhh he might not need to be on medication undecided
HealthRe: COVID-19 Update For December 12 2020 In Nigeria by SirWarlock: 1:53pm On Dec 13, 2020
ChiefS:
When there's no thorough screening at the airports what do you expect? When less that 2% of the population wear facemasks and adhere to non-pharmaceutical guidelines what do you expect? The truth is that as far as we are not screening travellers thoroughly they will bring the virus into the country. Those infected by travellers will also spread the virus due to the general complacency of the entire population. This is both science and common sense. Since most infected persons are asymptomatic, we feel the virus is not here. The unfortunate less than 1% of the population that eventually dies from the disease makes it difficult for the population to believe the virus truly exists in the country. The reason for all these conspiracy theories.
Good write up. Add the complacency of ncdc and government also cos I suspect they don't really know what they're doing. Covid is behaving strange over here and for some they were quiet all this time only for a second wave to appear, just like that huh. The second wave doesn't even make sense as some states are still recording 1 new case per day grin. So they should explain why some state numbers are going up again unless they're saying the rate of infection increased for some reason sad.

Welcome to a country where its people are fighting for bad governance but some numskull in the government are there forcing a disease on us that we neither have nor complain about..

Till date I have never heard any Nigerian complain about any covid-19 threat on his/her health or affecting his/her family.. but instead they are lying against us and using us to make money..

The 617 cases recorded, do they just test them and leave them in their homes? Because we knew all this while that the said isolation centres have been closed, do we even get to see anyone testing anybody?... Even the ones tested, are they all dumb? and even if they were, what about their family members?... we never ever get to hear a single thing from anyone. Do NCDC think we are fools?

This shit just have to end.. No one is going on any fucking lockdown.. we are blessed in this country and we are living our lives freely..
oh God the never-ending puzzles cheesy. Why do you guys think they'll lockdown/annouce on paper again cheesy. I mean they could start shutting schools down cry but that's it.

Remember that most of the western world are entering their typical winter period while we in tropical countries are entering hot season. I think COVID-19 spread is affected by climatic factors such as temperature, humidity etc. Therefore the policy makers should put in consideration our case here with that of the western world and stop 'copy copy'.
covid is just anyhow in Nigeria grin

No dey jonze abeg. Use your head. I guess you also believe that most of us are asymptomatic, whereas, it wasn't so in China. You should learn to question things and not swallow crap hook, line and sinker. I'm sure you also believe that the virus mutates and that's why it behaves strangely in various. Even if COVID dey Naija, nothing Lele. The second wave was fortold and it's upon us now. Thanks to folks like you who won't think for themselves. COVID 21 is in the offing, I'm sure you'd enjoy the soon coming lock up and it's economic implications for us.
Calm down. They'd have to be foolish to declare any foolish lockdown grin

What do people even want grin. Number goes down and it's 'ncdc don cashout finish, coro don finish' grin. Number goes up and it's 'they want to cash out again, cos of vaccine grin'. EducationRe: ASUU Strike: Today's (9th of Dec., 2020) Scheduled ASUU-FG Meeting Cancelled by SirWarlock: 4:37pm On Dec 09, 2020
Saintinoo:
open these news sites and read the content carefully, most of them qouted that ASUU parody twitter account, the news doesn't have any details as to agree that there was actually a meeting which was suspended today, remember these same Nigeria newspapers told you last week that ASUU agreed to call of strike, others even reported that ASUU have called of it 8months old strike.

The only thing we know is that ASUU president said he will make a statement concerning suspension of strike later today....

Between in all the interviews with ASUU president he never mentioned meeting FG today... I might be wrong though.
ASUU should demand for that account to fold up angry

Modified: It seems legit. Vanguard quoted a ministry of education spokesperson.
