Woow exactly like me, just entered week 17 yestday, u lucky u hv a bump already. Bin expecting a sizeable bump because I want 2 showcase it at me n DH birthday thanksgiving in church at d end of d month, lol. U knw I was ttc, js 2 shame d devil. I think God knws beta sha.

Dey say akanwu n ngu is unsafe during pregnancy because of d potassium compound in dem bt av neva cared 2 knw d effects, tho I avoid it. Sometimes I do cheat n eat abacha, n many preggy women still lick nzu which NAFDAC personally condemned because of d Potassium content.

Sixx, I'm not ready to go either oo. Anxious to meet LO, but anyone wey God want. My pregnancy time-wise, is very different from other teamies', because by ultrasound, I'm still 14weeks ish (LMP;15wks), when I read others yarning 17 abi 18, so definitely no hint of a bump yet, no ANC yet and no kicks either....Just my washboard flat stomach and endlessly calculating how many more weeks to hit the 20week mark, when I suspect I just must have a real bump.

Heeey, dnt worry dear sometimes scan is nt always accurate besides its jst a one week difference am sure baby will catch up. Plus u hv plenty of tym 2 feel movement n hv bump.I felt mine first at week 16, am now on week 17 plus bloating dunno weda 2 count it as bump. U are gud dear no worries.

For me, all symptoms I had ever googled or had been told wud happen, I neva experienced b4 my bfp! I hd things lyk fever as early as 2 dpo, cattar n sour throat, one breast pain n joint laxity, dazzall!

Hmm,so on d 10 things i wud do wen i get my Bfp..
1.I would scream and say "thank you Jesus" and then test and test till the strip is exhausted.
2. I would come to Nl and announce my bfp and write my widd immediately(believe me,its gonna be widd and widd reloaded).
3. Go to a lab and do blood p.t,go to another lab and repeat same test.
4. Call dh(if in my excitement my mouth has not already leaked),ask him how is day is going and invite him for lunch,tell the waiter ahead,give him/her the bloodtest result to bring wen we are supposed to pay,wen the waiter gives me,i would be like "honey,pls can't seem to see this clearly"and then handover the result to him(can't imagine his face and excitement)
5. Proceed to pregnancy thread with a lot of noise and swag.of course i wud be going there with different brands of beef sausage(gala,meaty,rite e.t.c.) and lacasera,with bags of the new anambra rice and plenty of hard currencies to announce my uplifting and new status.
6. Call my loved ones and close friends that have been praying with me to change the prayers to one of thanksgiving and prayer for supernatural childbirth.
7. Start walking carefully and try as much as possible to avoid bumpy road's in the first semester.
8. Go and officially register for ante-natal.
9. Start rocking short and sexky maternity wears wen bump start showing and also be taking milestone pictures every 4 weeks for posterity sake.
10. Increase my prayer life as i expect to have an easy h&h 9months filled with testimonies and praise to almighty God for making it happen.

1. Scream n dance upandan 4 joy. I couldnt because my heart was racing n my hands was shaking.B4 d second line came up, I was already weak n my feet were wobbling, besides it was 4am in d mornin.
2. Jump into DHs arms if he was dere n shed tears of joy. I did n we remained entangled lyk dat 4 quite a while.
3. Kneel down n thnk God, I did
4. Dia was ds grand n nice bfp anouncement dt mama @Pweetibabe or was it @Pweetymii hinted one time I planned 2 do it, but tins didn't js happen dt way. Lol
5. Dance my ass out in church, I didn't cos DH annoyed me n it just refused 2 go away b4 service.
6. Register ANC immediately, still hvnt registerd, mayb nxt week!
7. Start buying baby's clothes n arranging baby's things, of course, n I do dat almost every week now. Fun fun fun.lol
8. Not tell a soul until after 3 months, hussai!, I tried o but DH dt brought d idea told on us wit almost all his colleagues n anyone dt dared 2 ask 'hw is ur wife?'
As 4 me I just hd 2 tell my mum n evn my landlady b4 3months reach!.
9. Pick baby's name. Most definitely, it has bin fun coming up with n browsing 4 names, ryt now we hv a truckload of it.
10. Pray pray pray. Can't do without it, d thot of being a mum is awesome n it just keeps u strong n going.

N I pray that all of us mamas on ds thread will get 2 experience dt immense joy that comes with motherhood! Let's keep believing God n he will surpase all our expectations. Luv y'aull.

Hving sed dt, @Phelgmatic dear,Ttc is not d end of life, cheer up, ur situation will soon turn around. Don't evn knw which hurts more, losing a Child or not hving one atall, very deep cuts. But God forbid, our expectations shall neva be cut short.
