@Jimi, perhaps you should understand why Algeria build up their military the way they are doing it, who told you it was to defeat terrorism? smh And i will rather a country is over prepared for war or conflict, than to be under prepared, that's why BH caught Nigeria with her pants down. So if Algeria is stupid like you said, or whatever word you used, then Nigeria is a lost cause |
Might be a silly question. But is it a bad idea to mount flood lights or something similar, on those vehicles at night? I mean, these soldiers are brave, no way i want to drive around such hostile environment at night with bushes surrounding the roadside which can be fertile for ambushes. Shinning light on the sides and fronts, gives a better view in the dead of night, no? Man, i feel for our soldiers, especially those in the light skin pick up trucks, they are brave |
And who in their right mind fires the air force chief, is that a joke? lord |
Enough of this bs about choppers, jeez |
Still on this? jeez, |
Lack of training and equipment, sufficient resources is always needed, Niger is a very very poor country, not saying that to be offensive, just reality (not comparing them to any country). But they should start by firing all their intelligence leaders, that's pure failure right there, regardless which country is concerned jteku: |
Speaking of Helicopters, RIP to Kobe Bryant and his Daughter. lots of crashes lately |
Was wondering the same thing, i saw them as transport helis and wondered why we like buying them, instead of buying standard helicopter gunships or attack helis, you know, those made for that purpose. These ones just look bare, i don't know, just don't like them. now don't kill me, just saying |
Hazardous occupation, hope he have a good life insurance ![]() bidexiii: |
No need to belittle the guy by pointing out his age, uncalled for. At 18 or 17, he still knows more than i do when it comes to military matters, we can all learn from people, regardless of age. |
lol, says fools that can't defend their country, if it wasn't for France and other West African countries, they'd all be living under sharia law right now, if they don't have that already, Yep, France should leave, lets see how long it will take for them to lose their country to islamists I dont care for the presence of French troops anywhere in Africa, but sometimes, perhaps some countries need the backup Tinfoil: |
You dey bother? ![]() Ibrahimanees00: |
Too many demented people on the looseseankafor: |
ah, forgot, you are the racist guy, never bothered to catch your username. Slavery was part of human history, every corner of the globe, Africans were never the only people enslaved, don't be stuck in the past. Those you are hating today aren't responsible for that slavery, better yourself and don't carry hate around, only hurting yourself in that case tsdarkside: |
Ignorance. So loss of lives in the thousands is acceptable over some stupid oil price increase? What has that oil done for ordinary Nigerians over the years? man tsdarkside: |
This man self, you are telling you don't know why a potential terror suspect is blindfolded? And you really wanna compare this to tying down a human being to a stick while stripped down, in the most uncomfortable way possible? really? Enough said, you are right, ours are the best and most professional, no point debating this, if you can't see the difference, i can't help ya kabe1: |
There ya go, that's an Iraqi insurgent being detained by a US marine. You were saying? kabe1:
|
IGpro1: |
We seem to know nothing about "Best Practice" . If your job is to detain suspect, have zip ties, or handcuffs in hand, that seems to be a rare thing in Nigeria or what, not supporting criminals, but right there, is an abuse, shouldn't be happening, it's part of being an adequately trained professional |
The way these guys restrain suspects, nothing more funnier , haha, like dude was about to be roasted over fire ![]() |
Who's gonna listen to what you and i have to say? lol, that's what i meant. Your own Govt doesn't care what you have to say, let alone global powers kabe1: |
My point hasn't changed, US is just as devilish , that's all I'm saying, no one country should have monopoly on the world stage. That's all i meant. You are judging situation based on what you see on the surface, what you don't see or know, is what should scare everyone. And most countries will deploy troops against their own citizen if they threaten the Govt or stability of the country, US itself did it. Turkey's Erdogan who called Assad a monster for using force on his own people, did the exact same thing when protests broke out in his country. Anyways, what does it matter, not like we have a say in these matters |
What do you know about the USA? Is that a joke? hmm, a country that goes all over the world setting fires, is what the world needs? Same USA who tried starting mass protest in Cuba? With the hopes of toppling the Govt there, only to get caught, how many people did the US killed in Iraq? over 200,000 Iraqis died, how is that democracy going in libya? You think they gave a damn about Libya? They simply wanted Ghadaffi gone. No way in hell i want the US retain it's power or should i say grip on the world. This is a country that says Iraq must compensate them before they will leave Iraq, lol, never mind they are responsible for the mayhem there, the list goes on and on, these people are no saints, this is coming for a guy that's lived here more than half my life. You don't know half of the evil sheet this country does all over the world. What i want to see, is a strong Russia and China, then all 3 can have equal say, the idea of having one country going around doing whatever it wants, is a bad idea Not to argue with you of course, that will just be a waste for both of us, my opinion simply differ , that's all kabe1: |
And that's why it's gonna collapse . Eventually . It's unsustainable kabe1: |
So if the attack was unsuccessful, how come 3 Americans died in the attack, just read that in the news |
They are not Iranian militia, just backed by Iran and possibly trained by them, this militia you are talking about also have several elected officials in the Iraqi Govt, heck fought side by side with US troops against ISIS in Iraq SuperSixSeven: |
x |
Off Topic: The US military just assassinated a high ranking Iranian official, interesting days ahead, if i were a US Senator, i wouldn't venture to the middle east |
Happy New Year Fellas, I'm still a few hours behind, how's 2020 looking on the other side ![]() jln115, special happy new yr to ya, saw my name on your list ![]() And Mr bidexiii, keep up the good work ![]() |
Thats what i asked, weird huh |
I wonder what your qualification is to make these claims
So Algeria is buying an aircraft just going into service in Russia. Okay. That's not smart. Russia is going to be recouping their development costs really fast. Also to be honest, SU 57 5th gen capabilities are mostly non existent or modest at best
|
