Justwise and other good people in the house, I made an application to study for an MSc program in a Uni in the UK but it was turned down, I want to know if I can still go ahead to make another application to the same Uni but for a different program stil in the same faculty thanks |

Shay you guys know that these NYSC people, the whole hierarchy of them at the National and State levels, receive a tremendous sum from the Government in the budget every year, so I figure one of the reasons they couldnt just scrap it/suspend it is because of the people that would be immediately jobless. Tsiga being a soldier, along with other security forces will "act" to give an indication of peace and calm and so would therefore continue the posting of corpers to Borno. Accepting to not post people to Borno or other troubled areas would seem panicky, and thats not the message Jonae wants the world to have about Nigeria. Typical of Nigeria, we will overlook this one too and move on, I can almost bet to offer every NL a million dollars that as far as the case is concerned, business as usual!! God have Mercy on Us, show Jonae what to do to make this country better, free him from the forces that incapacitate him and grant him the grace to ACT accordingly, AMEN |

This is simply selective justice. PERIOD!! Because it was public, and lance corporal had no buddies in higher places plus the cover up would have been too BBHHAADD What about the guys that mugged the DPO in badagry? The naval ratings that beat and stripped almost naked that young lady the other day? The ones that destroyed the police barracks at Ojuelegba? Some people are cheering? Good. Cheer. But what about the other incidents above? Some people are saying it is audacious? So its okay for the military to do what they like (or not)?It is only in Nigeria that the military have this aura around them. Nobody is above the law |

My thoughts: it is a lose lose situation if you apply to NYSC, they will say NO, if you tell them you are serving at the embassy, they will say NO if you risk it and you get caught by NYSC, you will pay dearly for it, and if you get caught by the embassy, you will also pay dearly for it choice is yours, |

Separating all the insults and abuses here and there ( I am no referee) and dealing with the real issues Its hard to point out what side holds the truth While a man is innocent until proven guilty, in every rumour there is an iota of truth. These rumours are too weighty to just dismiss. For the Ekiti court judgement that sacked Oni, I read in a newspaper that the ACN had arranged canopies, sewed aso ebis 24hrs before in anticipation of the verdict in their favour. Now that smells fishy to me, how could they tell the future? Somebody must have known something. Same way Pakistani authorities find it hard to defend themselves over Osama's presence on their soil But again, innocent until proven guilty. Either the Police, EFCC, ICPC and Co have been compromised or are incompetent beyond concrete action or there are too many "highly placed" people (including high profile foreigners) involved or The man is just straight clear cut innocent In view of that i think we should tone down on accusations with no proof lest we get toasted for libel and discuss facts and stop dissing each other. who knows something constructive could come out of our discussions? |

Yeah I read in a book about habits are formed 21days on the average That's in theory, But I tell you the truth depending on the nature, magnitude, duration and complexity of the addiction, it'll take a combination of factors such as going cold turkey, discipline, self restraint, even prayers but ultimately The Grace of God! I've been there. |
