Lighter coloured cars are actually cheaper in terms of fuel economy. They had just ordered new set of cars for some executives in a major oil company i once worked in for my industrial training. when i asked them why there was no black one. I was giving the reason above. the explaination? Boundary layer. Dark objects absorb and retain more heat than lighter objects.this increases the thickness of the film in the boundary layer adding to the resistance the dark coloured moving vehicle faces when splitting approaching streams of air. |
Na im be sey Naija factor don dey enter am small small |
@justwise, i am already laughing at myself because what i want to ask u might as well be filed under the flurry of "of point" questions you deal with every once in a while ![]() could u be kind enough to please share what the teaching/learning experience is like? the teacher student exchange and all? given the nigerian system of cram and pass, how much of undergraduate knowledge is really needed/relevant for postgrad in the UK? plus like what and what should we carry along when we travel? |
ORRRRIIIII IIIYYYYAAAA MMMIII OOOOO! Yar'Adua, even you? kai! Infact Wahallahi Tallahi!! |
@fork adict, i'm voting for you next elections |
Its still hard to pin Buhari to BH. This man lost in previous elections and rather than resort to violence, opted for the courts where he spent time, energy and resources. Why didnt he choose BH then?Or why didnt the BH menace erupt then? I read from a post here on NL on how the SSS and Northern leaders struck a deal-on the release and promised care of arrested BH members-as far back as 2007 For GEJ's hundred days in office, I still saw it on the front page of NL recently, GEJ asking ministers to submit their four year plans. Now I am wondering what exactly he wants to do with that? didnt he have plans for all the sectors before? or does he want to compare notes so that he can refine his plans? I may be wrong but that sounds to me like someone second guessing his ambitions for the country he is tasked with leading |
Not that I support Buhari or Goodluck, People should stop disrespecting Buhari like that. As long as you don't have any evidence yet linking him directly to BOKO HARAM, then please and please stop insinuating that he is in any way their sponsor. You are all lucky we are pseudo-anonymous on this forum. Again for the innocent corpers that died (God rest their souls), no evidence directly connects the CPC or Buhari in such a manner as to conclude that they may have instigated violence against these innocent souls. And as for Buhari's opinion on Jonathan's 100 days-everybody is entitled to their own opinion. it doesnt have to be similar to yours. and for attacking Buhari because of that you would be no different from those who attacked and killed those who died in the aftermath of the elections because they were perceived to share different opinions along the religious/ethnic/political affiliation lines |
I guess i'll just stick to my glasses for now and when i can afford it i'll go get me some laser reduction therapy |
Does anyone please have an idea of how much they cost? The daily, weekly and monthly even yearly contacts Also any downside to the use of contacts? i once read somewhere(cant remember now) about the long term use of contacts, that it weakens the muscle tissues around the eyes, dont know how true that is? |
gbaby87:Congratulations in advance ps: when did u apply(how many working days?) |
@musiwa, what part of nigeria do you come from? |
Okayyyy, i think i just figured you out lemme hand it to you ![]() well, if it were the other way round, that is, the pressure was on me to drop some weight, i honestly would put in work (effort) and truly appreciate support from my spouse (unity) but i would likely react defensively to threats and ultimatums especially when they appear unrealistic, selfish and inconsiderate. but agreed, there should be no room for laziness and nonchalance on either foot |
na wah for you o poster, you asked and answered the question at a go ![]() |
Mrs.Chima: I'd say, Honey you have gotten old tooBut seriously, I don't think what you asked really mirrors the situation or conveys adequately, what you have in mind to get across as for the OP's wife, i agree with you that there are certainly more issues than weight gain in a marriage, but again, i still believe that it adds to it. especially when their sex life could very much still be active. for instance,i'm no expert, but i believe there is a general opinion that having sex (or making love, as the case may be) to fitter slimmer sized women(or bodies that are well taken care off) is more pleasurable and satisfying than larger fatty sized women I happen to share this point of view too. i might be wrong though |
Read the posters message and i hit the reply button Its only the injunction from God that we should pray for our leaders, if not, and as to the seat of the presidency, since i was born (early eighties) no one occupying that seat has done anything noteworthy to the point of exalting the seat it has become synonymous with democracy abortionists, mandate snatchers, avaricious looters, human right abusers, love pedlers, dramatists, recurring throat clearing con artists, sickly, incompetent and clueless zombies |
In my opinion, a persons weight (or fitness) in addition to other qualities/attributes (physical, academic/intelligence, financial, emotional, exposure etc )that he/she possesses helps in forming the overall impression of the man/woman on either partner. the weight thing is silent and even subtle yet it speaks a lot. even if you disagree on the basis of sex and romance in a relationship, you would agree on the basis of health. bottom line, i think its better to stay in shape |
Only if GEJ would learn from Wenger ![]() |
