Ifelajulo: It depends, if you are going through NSE which is for 20days you will need IELTS, but if you want the normal long time processing of study permit you don't need IELTS.
It will end in Praise. 20days ke it is more than that cos i have been waiting since january 11th till now more than 35days |

Nnamdiosang: Greetings and Happy Val to everyone.
Admission just dropped for PGC in Brewing Science, Bishop's University Quebec. For those headed to or already in Quebec, how did you go about processing CAQ. Also do I have to get CAQ before applying for Visa, or I should go ahead and apply for visa while waiting for CAQ to drop. CAQ is an important document to be uploaded during study permit application and without it the study permit wont be complete and accepted.... Thats my own view ooo wait for gurus in the house. Which school are you headed in quebec? |

ramobiojo: Your testimony will come soon.
Please did they update your application to we are reviewing your eligibility or we are reviewing your background check? Sorry for the delay ordering GCMS note is the best and next option which you have opted for. Please can you share your timeline? Did you make tuition payments or deposits? What documents did you submit? Are you a first applicant? Purpose of Visit most times deals with the course you applied for as well as career progression which could also come from SOP. |

Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by skull4eva: 7:06am On Dec 29, 2020 |
olasubomy: Send them 12months bankstatement using the mybankstatement certificate. 4-6 months use to be their standard requirement. But with introduction of this NSE, i would advise you give for 1 year.
All the best. I started building my account from march this year so 1year statement would show some issues. But 6months is very fine. |

Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by skull4eva: 9:25am On Dec 24, 2020 |
Chukwubuikexo: The mybankstatement should contain your Ticket ID and passcode. The bank can either provide it online or you would have to visit the bank. The mybankstatement and the normal bank statement contain the same thing but their mode of delivery is different. The NSE requires the mybankstatement with ticket ID and passcode Thanks broda how do i get the one with ticket id and passcode becos the my bankstatement that i printed from my app does not how that ticket id and passcode. I use UBA |

Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by skull4eva: 11:32pm On Dec 23, 2020 |
Chukwubuikexo: They are well aware of the IELTS you submitted, seeing that they didn't ask for it but it would do no harm to upload it again. Provide your 6months bank statement with 12months history and reiterate in the webform that you have paid your tuition deposit. Add the deed of gift documents as it would serve as support to the 27kCAD statement. Thank you sir for your response. But i have a quick question will obtaining my bank statement online from my bank app and uploading it in the space provided suffice or i shud get bank certificate with ticket number? How can i get that ? |

I dont have 30k cad only 27kcad and have also paid 6k cad tuition deposit. Shud i reprint the my bank statement from june to december and upload or i need to send it to the embassy? 2. Can i attach my gift of deed letter alongside again as well as sponsorship letter? Or just upload the mybankstatement alone? Did upfront medicals yesterday although they didnt ask for it. Uzomachukwu: The finances currently look good, I think. I only but wonder though, how come you're pursuing a doctoral admission that doesn't have any funding, either in the way of a GTA/RA or a fellowship? It's kinda odd, especially considering that we're talking about McGill, a tier-one institution that only admits graduate students it can satisfactorily fund.
Anyway, regarding your question, I think you've addressed the issue of finances, but the question of home tie still lingers. IRCC is aware that your kids and wife in Nigeria aren't good enough to serve as home ties because as soon as your legs stay in Canada for one, two or three months, you're going to start pursuing their own visas too, and IRCC wouldn't refuse you because that would be going against their own policy of reunification.
So, I think, perhaps you need to demonstrate home ties in other ways: investments, lands, teaching appointment letter in Nigeria (assuming you're working, for example, as a lecturer in a university here in Nigeria) accompanied with payslip and approval letter for your study leave. Thank you sir. I have added my employment letter and study leave letter with active bond to return as my salaries wud be paid while am away. Also added a landed property as well as car proof of ownership. Wife is working and her salary is good enough to suffice dem while am away. Added her employment letter |

Good morning gurus in the house @chocs, frankrobbn1, fratermathy, akintommy and others i need an answer to this questions please this is my second application differed my admission from fall to winter, PhD Mcgill university no funding. Have an SOA of 28k cads around 8.1m and a tuition deposit of 6k cad payment has been made. Now my questions are: 1. The tuition deposit was made by my sister inlaw from the Uk since friday through western union but up till now the money is still in her acct and mcgill has not yet received the payment 2. Do i stand a chance of getting a study permit approval? I was actually denied based on home ties and finances as well as travel history. Used a third party sponsor before and applied with my wife and kid But now am applying alone improved my SOA and also still included the sponsor and made a tuition deposit (i hope it is received today) |
