yMcy56: No effect as such.......but if the option is bonus issue, the announcement could increase investors appetite for the stock and lead to price appreciation. Thank you MCY I am also of the opinion that if they sell the unissued shares either by rights issue or allocation to existing major shareholder and use the funds to reduce debt, it may also impact on their bottom line and consequently the share price.. Please, I don't know if I am right about this. |

yMcy56: It may be due to: itchy fingers, fear, insider info (which may sometimes be read upside-down), current market situation brought about by MPR increase or whatever is pursuing the sellers.
My take, keep eye on it. I think below 5 is a good bargain if not inside the bus yet. If you're, exercise patience.
AGM is coming up on 11th August, one of the special biz to be discussed is Unissued Share Capital, not saying there'll be bonus issue oooo, but it's an option to be considered too.......the Unissued Shares may be cancelled, final decision is with the board.
Las las, na to wait and see the result before we go judge am. Mcy, what could be the effect of each of the options to be deliberated on during the AGM as regards the unissued shares. |

onegentleguy: INTERNATIONAL BREWERIES just released it's Q2/H1, 2022 financial print.
Highlights;
Incredible jump in NPM from a negative approx N13.89B to a positive N336,201. TCI came in even better, up from a YoY negative stand of near N8.2B to a positive position of over N N2.714B. ...both line producing an improvement in JPMG/AER and ensuring that growth trajactory is maintained.
This was despite higher capex and increased deleveraging.
I truly love what I see in the coys SCF and BS print.
Again, BUY... ACCUMULATE... HOLD! Please OGG can you throw more light on INTBREW Q2/H1 2022? I noticed the PBT for Q2 is -ve. |

onegentleguy: UACN has released its Q3 financial print showing a great improvement both QoQ and YoY. Surprisingly, or should we rather say unsurprisingly, no one seems to be talking about it or even posted it here.

Run down:
>> EBITDA MARGIN grew from a negative N10.2B to a positive N1.9B YoY...with near 40% of that figure booked in just the last 3 months/july-sep 2020(@ circa 743.7M) up from an approx negative N12.9B in the comparable period of last yr.
>> Current asset ran at a faster pace than total liability, with the former already at a premium to the latter, showing the groups strong liquidity posture and value accretive stance.(NWC and EM effect in view)
>> Lower EFIR given Zero LTDP, with short-term obligation decelerating by over 3,900bps from approx N4.60B to N2.77B(CLCR in view)
>> Higher cash position with a further improvement to the groups CGPR.
>> Fantastic AER as OCF grew exponentially from a negative approx N9.2B to a positive N4.7B
Using a mix of valuation model which seeks a conservative approach to reward but attaches a higher premium to risk, UACN should have no business trading for less than N14.40.
It is well. Please, assist with the link. Happy birthday OGG. I am wishing you constant green to your portfolio |

TLAX: That's the first 5.1% of 51%. The balance of 45%+ will be done later. Probably when Custodian turns some assets to cash to pay for it. Does it mean there is still going to be a form of unbundling of UPDCREIT? |

Please, house assist with this decision. I have UACN and UCAP in my portfolio but I need to sell one this August for a need. I am having difficulty deciding which to sell as UCAP gives me good dividend and UACN has underlying promise based on the coming unbundling which I don't want to miss out. Please, I need your advice . Ofcourse,I take responsibility of making my final decision. |
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by sky2891: 11:45am On May 27, 2020 |
Uchetoba: Base on the current price of UACN 8.35, 2 shares of UACN = 16.70 + 2% max commission = 17.03.
12 shares of updc = 9.60 1 unit of updcreit = 3.50 9.60 + 3.50 = 13.10
If we minus that from 17.03 - 13.10 = 3.93
Now divide 3.93 ÷ 2 = 1.97
So after the unbundling, the cost price of your uacn per share will be 1.97 Please, I don't understand. Cost price of UACN 1.97? |

Uchetoba: Here are the numbers that I promised you:

AND UACN SHAREHOLDERS WILL RECEIVE 12 SHARES OF UPDC + 1 SHARE OF UPDCREIT IN ADDITION TO EVERY 2 SHARES OF UACN ORIGINALLY HELD. Qualification date please |
