Please, assist with phone contact of Afriprud registrars?
I processed my edividend and sent it via UPS courier. Courier tracking evidenced that it was well received but I am yet to receive my outstanding Transcorp dividends and this gives me concern about this coming dividend.

oh, election postponed till next Saturday?
How I wish zenith will come back to 22 naira btw Monday and Wednesday so I can channel my latest proceeds to that side.

some stocks will receive beatings for failing to pay better dividend within this one week.
Zenith is good (dividend hunting) but as for Transcorp (capital appreciation) corporate hands waiting impatiently to grab any piece that drops from anyone. Closing (1.30pm - 2.30pm) drama yesterday speaks volume.

Indecision in the market...
There was a pause to the ongoing rally on the NSE index probably due to news emanated from Bloomberg regarding the countries election result. From here, stocks could continue the journey up or reverse. A close above 32634 could indicate rally continuation while a close below 32264 could indicate a reversal.

WAITING FOR ELECTION TO BUY - Does it worth the waiting?
I have tried to study the NSE ASI price movement just before and after presidential elections in Nigeria and its effect on the market generally. But due to lack of data even from NSE (this is terrible!), I cannot really come to a conclusion.

Available data only covers the last 3 presidential election from 2007.

-2007: Before election, market was bubbling and this is the period NSE witnessed great patronage both from crooks and saints alike. So market continue the euphoria during and after the elections. Good to note is that the incumbent party (PDP) just transfer power to the same party. Similarly, the power to be then nominee won the election. So the atmosphere was good for the market.

-2011: The election took place in April, but before then the world witnessed financial crash and many countries were just getting out of this including Nigeria. However, after the election, since the incumbent party (PDP) won the election, market embrassed the news, rallied for 1 month and immediately the president was sworn-in in May, market started falling till the end of that year...

-2015: From the beginning of the year, market was dipping due to uncertainties surrounding whether there will be election or not until American & British governments shown their anger; that was when Nigerian govt announced that presidential election will take place in March. Market loved the news & immediately a dipping market suddenly changed direction and created a pin-bar. Election came & gone with the incumbent president conceded defeat - market loved this and we witnessed market rally. Before the president was sworn-in, market became jittery and market started another fall till late 2016.

I tried to make any summary out these 3 scenarios but data is too small, however, a common factor are:
-Market rallies in the election month
-Market dips after president sworn-in and lasted for at least throughout that year

With the elections now coming in February, what do we expect huh

...as @fxuser stated it's bearish, however the good thing is that the stock is around 78.6% fib level but no weekly support to back it up
-there is a strong support though at 0.95
-there is a "minor" support around the current price @1.06. If this week can give a rejection candle the better

Sir Wanaj and Pa Emma,
I envy your sense of humility, selflessness and maturity despite your wealth of experience.
They never claim to know it all yet when they speak you see knowledge.
If all of us behaves like them, this forum would have been more resourceful.
No wonder they have been quiet for a long while which I believe it's due to the attitude of the "know it all" members of this forum.
Please, can we just air our views and allow people make their research. You mustn't be correct but trying to prove yourself as lord of NSE timing and forecast is what even Onyeama will not try.
Sorry, it's just my observation in the past few months.
Best Regards.

Think of this: People that invested in companies/businesses that are not quoted/traded on an exchange what do they consider since there is no PRICE to look at everyday. There is no BEAR or BULL. That will give you an inkling of how to look at an investment!
You are simply very good.
I really envy you.

H1 EPS of 11kobo. FY at same run rate will be like 25kobo. Assume a PE of 6 that is like N1.50.

Good growth in revenue driven by the power sector. Not sure what they've done differently for almost 50% surge in revenue from Power sector.

Trade receivables of N77bn is a red flag! N100bn borrowings also is not small.

Then you have the related party transactions with Tony and co.
Please, Based on this, what do you think the FY fair price could be?

MSCI MOVEMENT IN PORTFLIO FOR 6 JUNE 2018/GENERAL MARKET COMMENT

The market is coming alive little by little. The fund have started buying. This is a good relieve for the market.
In the light of the recent bear market, there is need to be more nimble in the market. We observed that the market can fall faster than when it is rising.

Now I will stick to watching when the MSCI Net Asset Value (NAV) loses up to 5% on weekly basis, I will slow down and when the losses is 10% on monthly basis, I will exit the market as fast as possible.

Looking at what the fund is buying now, I am not a fan of most of them especially when I am practicing some “rogue trader” tactics to quickly collect some dividends that others have worked or did they suffer for it!!! Sorry I will not tell the name of any now we have named them in the past, the prices have fallen such that further price fall after my dividend collection is very minimal.

Using the fund’s portfolio as a guide, “green” mean buying while “red” is selling.
Caution: This is for information purpose only. Data used are assumed to be correct. However, you may want to verify the data from an appropriate source.
They seem caught unawares too.
