emmanuelewumi: Total debt as at year end 31st March 2017 was N186 billion, you can get it in the annual report. In the right offer document the debt dropped to N144 billion on 30th September 2017. I am sure in the 3rd quarter which ended on 31st December 2017, the company must have made further reduction in their total debt.
Financial year of Flour Mills should end in 6 weeks, proceeds from the right will be handed over to the company next week Monday 26th February 2018. Please, any info on When the WAPCO rights shares will drop? |

Onuokwu: Really?
Not much attractive about your "United Army Concentration of Nollywood" right now.
- Shares in issue to increase by 50% post right offer - Money raised from shares to be used to support floundering subsidiaries like Livestock feed - 9 months Basic EPS dropped from 133k to 79k. We are yet to factor in the effect of 50% increase in shares. Y/E EPS expected to worsen. - All companies in this group are underperforming....possibly systemic management issues or defective philosophy/strategy. Many subs are playing in preferred agric sector or FMCG that ought to be doing well but on the contrary they are struggling. - Only standout sub is CAPL which is quoted separately on NSE
Short of new core investors by way of recent right issue, this is a no-no for now. How about Flourmill, please? |

RabbiDoracle: I have been accused of all sorts here today they will say I'm the cause of the bear in NSE. Tomorrow they will say that using foreign indices to compare Nigerian market. Next they will say it is because I have sold.
Markets are closely configured somehow. Before one finishes trading, another one has started. Asia markets start midnight while we are sleeping. It runs till we wake and while it is about closing European markets start. NSE starts after EU markets. These trades continue till afternoon. NSE closes butt EU markets still stay open till US market starts. Remember that with technology, news reach faster than before.
If Asia markets are green, EU markets willl likely be green. Before close of EU markets and US markets open with Dow losing 1,000 points for example, immediately all EU markets will become bearish at close. If US market continues its redness till closure , remember that Asia markets will open our midnight, investors will fret and want to go for safety. So the domino continue.
People have not studies these, instead they attack the messenger who predicts an outcome that will certainly happen. Why will it certainly happen? Because we are all humans....we fear losing our lives, we fear losing properties, we fear losing money. So human (inexperienced ones) will naturally fret and take off. If he does that, he tells others. The others come in as a herd and the rest is what we see now.
As for those events affecting NSE, who are these FPIs? They are foreigners. They will want to sell or stop buying stocks in your country. Why? They need to understand what is the cause of the events in their country. Indirectly, it affects NSE because they are no longer buying like they used to or they had started selling.
I have pieced all these together and extrapolated them and advised. Instead what I get is names. Continue
I'm L King at una on my mattress. I value your wealth of experience. |

fxuser: Cadbury umm
Daily: bearish (prev -ve div playing out) Weekly: bearish (on its 2nd week of rest after testing 52 wk high) Monthly: Neutral (long term consolidation is rounding up) Trading above 200 ema (long term bullish in support of above) BUY sig consideration is a close above its recent monthly high of N15.67
Other Observations: - since breaking below N20 in Oct 2015 , its been consolidating for the last 2 years wt monthly RSI recently hitting a 3 yr high wh is good sign for a ''long term reversal'' .This may take days, weeks or months to manifest , big fund managers like this and will accumulate for long term - price is also ard 2012 levels wt a similar pattern of RSI breaking into 3 yr highs and price broke out & kept making new yr highs till Dec 2013 wen wen it hit ard N100 - not a fan of the vol so hv not looked at this chart in ages , so many things i ''see '' but let me stop here before i complicate things further i beg. Thank you so much |
