My main bone of contention with the elders is

A) they demand respect but when you look at the state of the country and the continent of Africa as a whole. They don’t deserve it. They trashed this continent in the most dreadful, egregious way. 30 years ago, China and the rest of East Asia was in a similar state to Africa.today, east Asia is a hyper advanced region in the world and Africa is a jungle.

B) they claim that ‘what an elder sees sitting down is what a youth cannot see climbing on a tree’. If really that was true, then why didn’t envision and create a good, prosperous country for their youth if they’re so ‘wise’? African elders believe that they are these omniscient beings that live in a completely different world to the rest of Africans.

Ultimately, the elders control all the wealth and political clout of Africa. But they clearly misuse that power. They use that power to oppress the poor/youth.

They have a left a wrecked country/continent for their youth.

They are 110% responsible for all of the problems in Africa from insecurity to tribalism to poverty to crime etc.

They siphon the wealth of the country and put it in foreign bank account.send their kids abroad and go abroad themselves. Whenever they come back to Africa. They carry like 20+ car heavily armed convoys everywhere they go because of guilt.

You cannot even apply derivative arithmetic to surmise the age of most Nigerians born before or after British granted independence to the country. At least, anybody with age of 55 years was born 5 years after British granted independence. How could Nigeria even begin to lay foundation of progress when the crop of the cream such as you cannot make use of simple extrapolation. Granted not everybody has the sense of numbers as evidential with your above post, however the basic knowledge of simple arithmetic is required in building foundation for national growth.

I dont even live in a 1st or 2nd rate city by Chilean standards but no African country can be compared to the city I live in terms of infrastructure. The roads are good.
