So these rich Africans aren't really spending any of their money to live or operate like businessmen abroad. They are living at an equal standard of high living as the Rothschilds while hiding behind 422 million poor souls living in abject poverty. Now who do you think controls the world? Remember the Moors were the manpower behind British, Belgium, and French colonization of Africa. Guns didnt defeat Africa or help the Whiteman win it was collusion.

There are tourist attractions in Nigeria. Nigeria has the equivalent tourist attractions of Kenya, South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Mauritius, etc. The economy needs to grow so Nigerians can patronise them, and most importantly, infrastructure and security needs to be in place. When the economy was good, we patronised Obudu Resort.

I agree and it’s obviously not surprising that Nigeria can’t really compete in tourism with its rivals. Nigeria’s international reputation is not as good as those countries though. That’s another thing that affects global tourism.

The reason behind the craze of the US passport is due of how easy it is to get. Once a woman gives birth (even if she’s an illegal) within US territory. That child is an American. And being able to get a passport from a world power that easily is very enticing to tourists allover the world.

You’ve fallen for the lies of the American dream 😂. A)The US is in decline as the global superpower. B)The country’s reputation and thus diplomacy has taken a hit which affects the passport score
C) that’s not now how you measure passport strength. It’s no easier using a U.S. passport than an EU/Schengen or Canadian, UK etc to get visa on arrival somewhere. You’re greatly overestimating as to how strong blue passport is.

These days having a US passport the cons may exceed the pros
Having a passport from a world power in general makes it easier to get a visa in. The US passport doesn’t make it any easier. You seem to forget as to how much of a global laughing stock the US has become.

With Singapore, you can currently go to all the 195 countries in the world visa free. So your argument has been defeated. The US isn’t even in the top 5 strongest passports.

With a Singapore Passport, There is no visa documentation required to enter any country in the world. With the US, You have to fill out documentation and pay fees to go to many countries.

Visa on Arrival is also not free like visa free travel is.

Security is relatively very good and hotels are not bad. Abuja has a very large "foreigners" poulations , so you won't be out of place

I have said it before, FG should borrow money and build a world class Airport somewhere close to Lagos but not in Lagos.
Having a world class Airport with a world class airline is sure way to bring development, employment and investors into any country.

Which means it makes sense to invest in hotels in those countries rather than Nigeria. At least, one gets dollar carrying tourists. Another problem is our visa system. We label every country equal, which is not a good based on economics. We ought to be visa free to countries whose GDP per capita is above $30K. Security and the image of theft are also major problems. We are not friendly people. Most Nigerians are very angry and aggressive.

Nigeria has tourist attractions, but many factors hinder their exploration.

I have been to Morroco, Kenya, Tanzania, and Benin and now going to Ethiopia.

I want to visit almost all the African countries. Enough of spending money visiting European and Asian countries.
Let's appreciate Africa. I'm excited about my trip to Addis, looking forward to the history and of course the beautiful ladies.
