Romance › Re: No Guy As Ever Asked Me Out!!!no True Lover At 17...wat Is Wrng Wit Me??? by slap1(m):
Babe you still have a long way to go, just chill. I'm over 25 and no girlfriend yet (and I'm not ugly). People suggest I'm gay, but I know better. Next year (hopefully) I'll be ready to date. Get your WAEC, enter the uni and see what happens.

I like your complexion, by the way.

Romance › Re: Should Sex Really Wait Until Marriage. A Case For Both Sides. by slap1(m): 4:47pm On Dec 23, 2013
I know a fellowship sister in school that was engaged with a brother. The agreement was 'no sex', naturally. I don't know if the guy kept his part of the agreement fully, but a guy in my hostel was 'knacking' the girl regularly...

That said, I also advocate no sex. But if we have to cheat to achieve it, we better 'knack' it on. 'Tenk' (in Yuzedo's voice).
Nairaland General › Re: Has Social Network Slangs/short Forms Affected You In Your Exam by slap1(m):
I abhor extreme abbreviations! I see it as a sign of immaturity and irresponsibility. I RARELY use it, unless my phone has a low battery or I'm typing in Pidgin.

While marking my students scripts few weeks ago, I came across cringeworthy abbreviations. I had to deduct over 30% of the total score from the affected scripts. People should be patient enough to write/type words fully.
Family › Re: Breastfeeding Babies In A Public Cab Normal? by slap1(m): 6:13am On Dec 23, 2013
dmahn: ..Dont mix things up,its a different matter entirely..Is it moral? Dats my point
I believe morality is about what is right or wrong. It is right for a mother to breastfeed her baby in a taxi. I've even seen it in church, although the woman had to go to the back of the pew (but she was still in church). It is not offensive or immoral, it is even despicable to deny the baby food and allow him/her to cry.
Family › Re: Breastfeeding Babies In A Public Cab Normal? by slap1(m): 3:47pm On Dec 22, 2013
But as big as you are, you can eat gala and La Casera in a bus, and you want a little baby to cry until there is breastfeeding space? Ok o.

People also say it's a good school. Are you gonna keep listening to people or make a move? I heard how bad and rough ABSU is before I entered. However, from first year to final year, no one harrassed me, lecturer or cultist. By God's grace, I'll be through in two month's time.

If the Lord does not keep a city, the watchmen watches in vain.

Romance › Re: Ladies Can You Cope With Him? by slap1(m): 6:43am On Dec 22, 2013
20k is not a marriage salary, for me. What are the guy's qualifications and prospects? Is he doing the job while waiting for a bigger one, or is that the best his credentials could get?

As a guy, I can't think of marrying any girl I love with that salary. Why would I wanna watch her suffer?
Romance › Re: I Need Your Opinion Guys by slap1(m): 6:32am On Dec 22, 2013
OP, I have to blame you PARTIALLY. You failed to 'configure' your girl properly. Before I date any girl, I'll instil some strong, sound ideals into her.

What do you guys even talk about? Even my close girlfriends won't believe this religious crap (I'm not bragging, but I have a way of getting people to listen when I talk). Call your girl and let her see reasons with you. Give her examples of lives and marriages that have been destroyed by these baseless men of God. Let her know that the devil she knows is better than the angel she doesn't know. Goodluck.
