honestly brother, no one would love to be exempted from the training(at least I'm sure of me), even though they may get absorbed thereafter.

Well yeah, but just to calm people's nerves, whether or not you join in september, you would still be trained (on the job)
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: NNPC PORTAL, How To Compress Ur Document To 150kb Or Less As Required by sleek29(m): 1:53pm On Sep 07, 2012
Long thing, open your microsoft word, choose insert picture, navigate to the picture you want, and then click compress photo size, and save as pdf file choosing minimal standard, very simple!

The bolded is so true brother, I agree totally. Thanks though for the insightful contribution. For the other guys who'd be having their partner interview today, we wish you the very best.

Its not a difficult thing to get into Kpmg, unlike other big four companies, kpmg fills open spaces almost every month, people keep leaving in droves, the experience is next to nothing, and the training school is not just for kpmg staff as other companies even send staff there for training, its a + to join the training school but if you don't join in september you would still be trained on the job, anyone who doesn't make it by monday should just calm down.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: KPMG Second Stage Interviews, What Is It Like? by sleek29(m): 9:14am On Sep 07, 2012
You all should just calm down, if you don't join the training school it doesn't mean you won't join this year, the training school happens once a year, yes, but kpmg recruits round the year as long as there's a space to fill, people leave kpmg every year in droves as kpmg experience is craved for in places like GE, Chevron and the likes, they would always have spaces to fill, so calm down, lots of people here don't even know that kpmg employs corpers serving in other states as full staff, allowing them to visit their states from time to time, its no biggie if you don't resume on monday believe me I'm close to a top staff

Politics / Re: Oil Theft Worsened After Jonathan’s Election by sleek29(m): 8:40am On Jun 29, 2012
First, increasing local content is not the problem, what methods or processes were used to increase local content?, what are the names of the companies involved?, did they obtain their licences through due process?, who owns this companies?, politicians?, PDP politicians? businessmen?

These are the questions we should be asking government as they are accountable to us and not just blindly defending every GEJ action like some peeps in nairaland, dis number has increased drastically this past few weeks, guess GEJ has overhauled his PR or better still 'internet relations', I know you guys are just earning your pay, but try and be a lil objective in your arguments.

Politics / Re: Nigerians Are Battered Souls & Broken Spirits - Professor Ayittey by sleek29(m): 3:27pm On Jun 28, 2012
Nairaland has been hijacked by aso rock agents, all the reactions I've been hearing has only been attacking the person of Prof Ayittey not his statements, the Prof is obviously a more intelligent person that GEJ as TED Q&A no be yam, GEJ that couldn't speak well in a stage managed media chat, the fact is that is responses are not fit for a democratic leader, imagine a president being watched by both the old and young saying "I don't give a damn", giving a lame excuse as to why he hasn't visited maiduguri, there are better ways of answering questions as a public figure, its called diplomacy, from day 1 GEJ's problem has been public speaking, from calling people 'rascals' to "I don't give a damn" shows the level of his intellect

Politics / Re: GEJ Is A Joke & Clueless - Ghanaian Prof. Ayittey by sleek29(m): 3:41pm On Jun 26, 2012
All you GEJ apologetics have nothing to say, his responses were totally un-intelligent. Period, imagine him telling us he couldn't visit a state because the airport was bad and that giving out free seeds could be called a revolution. We keep letting the world know how daft this country is, revolutionising railway by paying chinese with chinese engineers and equipment and we call that revolution!

GEJ is not fit for the office. QED
Politics / Re: GEJ Is A Joke & Clueless - Ghanaian Prof. Ayittey by sleek29(m): 10:34am On Jun 26, 2012
The maiduguri 'excuse' was really not smart by the president, OBJ visited the same maiduguri, how did he get there?, he clearly showed his 'unpresidentialness' with that statement, @ the peak of the war in iraq george bush visited iraq, a C-in-C talking like that only shows weakness and is capable of empowering enemies of the state, let's drop the sentiments, whether Ghanian prof or not, GEJ messed up again!

@beaf (Reno Omokri), nice job of defending your boss and his allies, farouk has stepped on powerful toes and so we all expected a fight back, why not release the video for all to see, does this make all indicted in the N2.6tr subsidy scam innocent, what happened to the subsidy money, another wonderful distraction track in the GEJ National distraction album just after Unilag name change, Dana Air mishap and now this, always taking Nigerian's mind of the real issues

At least i have UNIVERSITY OF LAGOS on my certificate, plus Nigeria operates a upper and lower house kind of legislature, the article says they have approved of it(maybe principal officers), but the members are on recess, would it be debated?, the house of representatives has to approve senate's position, what if the government calls it MAULAG and the students call it UNILAG, would that really immortalize abiola?
Politics / Re: GEJ Seeks Senate Approval To Rename UNILAG And 2 Other Federal Universities. by sleek29(m): 6:57pm On Jun 06, 2012
@ beaf, I am so disappointed by your reactions as it continues to make GEJ look stupid, before this latest development, all you said was that the president owned the school, first that's some sick, militarized, third world kind of thinking, the government belongs to the people, the president represents the people, the people have to agree to the presidents' policies, I'd not its not going to be democracy any longer but an autocratic rule, admit that your boss made a mistake & aims to do things right, you are loosing the little left of your credibility by your rantings, he changed futy's name last year & didn't seek approval because nobody protested, now he tried it with overly exposed & sophisticated unilag students & alumni, they exposed his mistake, guy stop acting like your boss, admit you made a mistake. Simple!!!

Even when not on strike, I have known nigerian doctors to be the most wicked professionals the world have ever seen, my sister was rushed to an accident & emergency ward only to be left to die despite her cries for help, another woman lost her baby in her womb in abuja her because she could not get N3000, they are the most insensitive of creatures, I would sack them if I was the governor, they all own private hospitals & go on strike to transfer traffic to their hospitals. Fashola, I'm 200% with you on this one, they are supposed to save lives, that's what they should do, a doctors who was a tottenham fan ran unto the pitch to save the life of fabrice muamba, a nigerian doctor that I know would never do that!

Politics / Re: Reuters Report : The Fuel Subsidy Removal Is Imf Policy For Africa ! by sleek29(m): 11:42pm On Dec 31, 2011
IMF is owned by Europe &  America, the earlier you know this the better, it started to help countries rebuild after WW2, now tell me Nigeria was part of WW2, America has veto power in the IMF, Wall street controls the white house, American banks own IMF, simple.

All I know is this, the current subsidy regime only started because of this same IMF people, remember that World Bank guy with the ponytail once told us that its cheaper & better for Nigeria to refine crude outside Nigeria
Its another IMF gimmick, mark my words

Name one African Country that has benefited from this IMF help?
Remember SAP, another IMF policy
China, Brazil, India & Libya shut their doors to IMF & they were the better for it
