feldido: Don't get me wrong, I'm not of the opinion that one gets rich or make it in Life by getting married only neither am I being superstitious. I'm just saying that it happens. I never believed that until it happened to me.
True God blessed me with Multiple skills that can fetch me something to survive, but even with these skills I was going nowhere until that proposal. Everything started falling in place. There's so much to tell about my story. I don't have a problem with you bro. I knew you have something that led to your success. I don't doubt your story either but I am. Someone that before I will accept anything as true, I have to compare statistically with the majority. However, we need to be careful about how we make some comment because of the way an average Nigerian reason. A lot of minds in Nigeria are in captivity already because some notion and preconceptions. I know the battle I am fighting to liberate my own brother for similar reasons or how do you explain a situation where one is always feeling nothing is working for him because some village people are after him but refuse to accept his makes wrong decisions? |

midnighter: Yes I wanted to ask him if he tried teaching but maybe he wouldn't like it Sure, many just want to work for another man. There is nothing bad about that though. To submit CV dey hard me die. But give me opportunity to think and come up with a business idea, and I will become so comfortable. I have so build myself that anything that is too monotonous is a turn off for me. I love challenges and like taking risk... |

Some of you Nigerians need to start thinking on your feet. Every job you apply to is a Business.
35k is just less than $100, not enough for me to blow in a week if I wish to be extravagant but as na Buhari era we dey man need to use his head.
You write so intelligently but have you considered doing home tutorship? Charge a child as much as 10k.
With 5kids, that is 50k per month. 10 kids is 100k per month.
It is not gonna be as easy as I paint it but it is achievable.
When I lost my mother, a man begged to use one of our property for lessons and since we were not staying in that state, we left the house behind to him.
This was in 2009.
From there his wife joined him. They lived in that our property and built together.
From there they rented another one not too far off.
However, the man was beginning to act funny in a way that I didn't like and so I made sure he leave the building.
He eventually moved to another building and he told me he bought it for 5M.
He bought the other one he was manning along with ours.
I just want to share this story with you all who think you must always submit CV, even though you are capable of creating a system where people can submit CV to you.
My uncle own one of the biggest transport company in Lagos. He never went to the university because his dad died before he could come of age and his sisters were not so educated either due to their father's believe that women should not be sent to school.
Unfortunately, his first set of children were women, which he subjected to farming in his large farm.
Today he operates transport company and expanding.

harrwix: inspiring story you have got there..... But reading through your story, it is evident there are a lot of things that aided your success story apart from the proposal. Those sides of the story will have given some motivation together with the inspiration you just gave Abi o. The side effect of this kind of story is that, it will make some readers lazy and leave everything to God, even though God gave them brain and hand. |

feldido: Let me drop my story.
I was dating a Delta girl for 3 years and all I placed my hands wasn't working. In fact I have a project that passed all through government protocols which was just remaining signing, but nothing happened. I even did sport betting which was earlier successful as some Nairalanders could testify. But at the end, everything went south. I tried traveling to Australia 2016, Dollar come increase to N500, my sponsor kuku chill.
On top of that, The girl come de put pressure on me till I no fit take am. Na Dia I break up with her. Then I met this my old friend from School days that I haven't seen for over 9years, mehn she just too set, couple with the fact that we knew each other very well, we were best of friends then. To cut story short, na so I proposed and gave her time frame for marriage. Meanwhile I don't even have 50k in my account, she accepted with these words " If God permits us to marry, he'll make a way, besides I know you to be a hardworking person, we will not suffer".
Do you know that within 3 months, I was able to realize the money we used for the wedding? Up till date I still can't understand how it happened, But God made it possible for us through the right woman.
It's over 2 years since we got married, God has blessed us with a beautiful daughter and we have a house of our own.
Yeah, you can be successful with the right woman.
Cc. Sleevia, lukui Bro, you worked for it. You worked hard for it. That is the answer. She said it "you are hard working and she knows you people will not suffer" That line up there betray whatever notion you were trying to create. How about you sit at home and do nothing so we see if your theory will bring you fortunes? God does not bless a lazy man. Even with my little effort, I know what I have done since I left school. The only difference now is that I am gonna take it a notch higher than ever by being aggressive than ever before cos I have target. For me to now say na one woman do bring me luck is very preposterous Success is a game of numbers. The higher you trying, the higher the chances of success. |

leorayvon: Yes ooh I can testify. I worked in a bank and no promotion. I have been dating her since I started the bank job. But immediately I proposed and did introduction I got a new job and salary is triple my salary and it came with a car.
So yes so, you didn't do anything, no action, the job just landed on your lab because you married her? I wonder the kind of school most Nigerians go so much that they dump education and hold on to superstitions. |

foliman: I think I concur,
Responsibility would make the man responsible, bills at the end of the month will force him to spend on things moderately.
The fear of the wife and his family would make him limit or cut extramarital affairs that could cost him money.
Even the man himself would know there's more to live for, hence his hustle would be way more than it was.
He'd be prudent...
However, so men don't give shit either married or not, but many has witness positive change when family of their own sets in. Lol... U never jam ni. You can't give what you don't have. Marriage changes nothing. |

Millions of people rather remain in hell because the few that control them may take the remaining 20% of their dividend not minding that they can get the 100% if they raise up one finger and say enough. Reason Africa may never get out of this hell till eternity. the elites have used religion and tribalism to divide the masses, especially this APC admin. It is the reason Tinubu does same. They fear united mass. Unfortunately, the masses are not aware. |
Romance › Re: Please Help! My Boyfriend Irritates Me by Sleevia: 12:49pm On Oct 01, 2019 |
Ellatee256: Hi everyone, I'm 23 yrs and currently running my HND program. I have a bf and we have been dating for almost a year.
We do almost everything together and we see each other every single day... But now am irritated by him.
He comes to my hostel from his office everyday but now seeing him irritates me the more. I just want a break but I don't want to hurt him. This isn't the first time its happening to me, I've had two boyfriends before I met my new bf and same thing happened with them.
Its just like I meet a guy I like..,we love each other and I get excited and then few months later I get irritated by them....
I told my elder sis about it and she dragged me to church saying I have spiritual problems but that's not the issue....
Sometimes I just want my time alone but my bf doesn't seem to understand that. Have tried to ignore him and all but he doesn't get the message am passing........ He wants me to meet his mum but have been giving him excuses....
I don't know why I feel like this with only the guys I date cuz I don't feel that way with my friends and family in fact I want to be with them everyday but its different in my relationships... I want to end things with my boyfriend without hurting him cuz I can't keep acting and I can't keep wasting his time.
I think I have a problem and I don't know what to do. I don't want this to affect me when I get married cuz there won't be a break in marriage... Pls kindly advice Thanks There is nothing wrong with you. Are you from a broke home, were you raised by a single mother? You are not meant to be loved or cared for. The best therapy for girls like you are guys that keep their you mystery and suspense, the kind that force you to ask "does he love me or he is playing games"? Guys who come in contact with you should keep their distance, especially after forking. You will never appreciate a nice guy cos you don't deserve one in the first place, neither are you programmed to love such. Your age is another problem. Girls within that age bracket in Nigeria, majority of them don't yet know what they want relationship - wise |

olabrinks: After a long time of not having frequent sex, maybe she has become accustomed to living that way. Maybe she doesn’t see the excitement of sex anymore. Sometimes when you don’t have sex for so long, you can even forget what it feels like, hence her nonchalant attitude. I’m sure once you guys start having frequent sex again, her libido will go back to normal. Do not assume she’s cheating when there’s no evidence or any suspicion to think so. any many who take this serious, should do so at his own peril lol. |

He has served as petroleum minister, even Arch Bishop Welby of Canterbury still respects him today because of the transparent dealings they had. He served as ptf chairman, as a boy even I felt the impact. The man has an impeccable record or honesty, bros why won't I employ someone like him to head my organisation? I will employ someone like him 100 times over.

Just like how he dealt with Fashola,Tinubu wants to remain the Almighty in Yoruba land.He feels threatened by any Yoruba man with a growing political popularity. it is not possible cos such move will not favour him. Don't you think? It's the Northerners that can benefit from such move. |

What is gonna happen is decimation of SOUTH west arm of APC in order to hijack the party. This will be a lesson for those I have seen on nairaland calling APC is South West party... A huge mistake cos these Northerners don't talk here. They take what you say offline and plan.

Nigerians are not honest. These old people are right. I'm from a well to do family and yes people come in to disturb my parents. People with huge muscle mass, height and everything. They wake up , sleep, gamble, have sex beg online and offline. that is what you get when you do not empower your youth. The elites have not done well. The same people she calls lazy are same ones they used to disenfranchised igbos during last election. She is a two faced hypocrite |

The road linking Bayelsa to Delta is called the East - West road and I dare say all the completed portions of that road from Delta - Bayelsa - Rivers- Eket including those many bridges were done by GEJ.
Buhari has practically abandoned that road as we speak
Stop your lies. Fear God! You said "Buhari has practically abandoned that road as we speak" Which means GEJ didn't complete before leaving.. See how you contradict yourself? You called me a liar but admit that the road wasn't completed before GEJ left. Who is a liar? What about the bridge linking it? I am sure it is still where it was. |

technuel: Jonathan really failed the South East and South South region. Was it also the opposition then that asked him not to do something about the Eastern and Southern ports. Jonathan no try at all that is the fact. He wasted his precious opportunity trying to pacify the ingrate Northerners. the one that irks me the most is that there is a road that link Bayelsa to Delta state. In 2007, I passed that road for an aptitude test. Then we had OBJ. In 2014, I passed that road to attend a wedding at Bayelsa and it was if they were starting afresh on same project. I don't like Buhari but if we consider infrastructures he is handling and completing from previous regime before his, he deserve an applause. GEJ forked up. |
