I would have loved to do a donation of books as i(we) have a library full of them(good and relevant) at home(my village) wasting away but i won't be there until late December.... I will try donate a little something out of my peanuts though... ![]() ![]() |
apocalypse: Exactly what happens in Nigerian sports , I played in all the trials for scrabble and did excellently well in the retreats , always placing amongst the first three in my category ( opens ) but was dropped for another guy because he had paid his "dues". The coach said the guy had come for two previous editions but did not qualify and he wanted to use this to compensate him , he had to drop two of us from the team cos it was our first trial. If such things still happens then the best will not be selected for any competition , anyways he compensated us by making us officials at the games.I know how good you are with scrabble.that's how we met...remember? i believe you.. Daddy Slimyem is very involved in sports and the ongoing National sports festival so i know... Moreso, slimyem is a swimmer too and has had the opportunity of meeting with very good Nigerian swimmers that would compete healthily with the swimming world record holder but these swimmers are never allowed get past certain channels except they are ready to rub the right palms.. Its a sad thing..! |
lmao.... This is holy wedding for reals... Nothing to ooh and aah or wow about... HD dullness!! |
ELOY? Ne'er heard of 'em!! |
toprealman: I still don't understand the essence of the sport festival when it is yet to produce any talent that can win on the international scene.Trust me,there are numerous talents that can make us proud on the international scene but the usual Naija politicking with everything won't let that happen! |
Okay... We have heard... Next please!!! |
That man needs to be locked up asap!! |
Games men play.... Hmmn.... The babe aint even as cute as his wife.. |
A reasonable percentage of smokers know this already.... They just do not care!!! |
I kinda agree, but with quotes like... "Yesterday while taking care of Edwarda I noticed her looking directly at me and gave me the biggest smile I had ever seen. She then closed her eyes and joined my Mom in Heaven." Makes me wonder. What am I missing here? I thought people in coma don't smile? or are they delusional?? No disrespect intended
That woman was probably just seeing what wasn't there... ...believing what she wished was real... |
Usually,if i like a guy enough and the sparks start to fly ,i hit it with him off straight...and get to KNOW him later.. #no time# |
42 years?? Wow!! The kinda hope this family had eh... Na wa!! IMO though, she died in 1970 at 16!!! |

maclatunji: Your response to number 2 looks more like a threat. I am smiling here so that I don't look like a madman in the midst of other people by LOL.lol... Its what i don't and won't expect/accept from my man for whatever reason or under any circumstance,otherwise..... ![]() ![]() |
maclatunji: 1. Do you accept that the husband is the head/leader of the home?1.Yes 2.As long as he doesn't do it in public/in any other person's presence,or abusively, all will be well!! |
ayobase: LOL.who is his aunty? Emi omo kekere ara mi... ![]() What are you smoking? ![]() |
omodapson: Abeg when last did you visit Ibadan? Probably you've been visiting Beere, Oje, Idi-Arere, Ogbere, Idi Ikan, forget story... I spend at least two days of every week in Ib.. ..and No ,i have no business in all those places you mentioned... |
omodapson: You say... How myopic can you be? Be objective for once and stop all these sentiments. Ibadan may be living in past glories but Ilorin is still no match for Ibadan.forget story bro.. The only things Ibadan has going for it is its population, being the largest city in West Africa and U.I. After those,NOTHING!!! |
tjskii: Mmscheeww wat r they doing opening in kwara, they shud come to ibadan jor,we seriosly need dem hereyou have Foodco and a few others in Ib nah... Mange am like that.. ![]() |
I am being real here. Fact is, no matter how wealthy you are - unless you're the world's richest person, there would always be hundreds / thousands / millions of other people better off (financially) than you. So, are you going to feel inferior to all of them? I certainly do not and if that makes me different...oh well...
i'm assuming here the op's is relating his question to women in a certain circle of friends not millions of other rich people in the world.. Well, maybe those from the so-called "firewood" background might feel that way.Sadly, that's what obtains here... Everyone feels a need to show that he is superior to the other even with things as inconsequential as cellphones. There is a clear distinction between the rich and the poor. ...and No,its not just firewood background people...except you'd tell me all our leaders are that.. They are the main proponents/promoters of the margin between the rich and the poor.. They lead, |
^^ Just imagine alerting your average agbero / roadside mechanic / bus conductor that their fly is undone... Unbearable thought. @poster, there is a saying: Let sleeping dogs lie, that way you won't get bitten...
Exactly!! ...except you are willing to have yourself rubbished thoroughly.. |
How can someone ask this question... OYINBOGOJU: Where is the most attractive part of a woman?...and go on to say the answer is the brain? Seriously? ![]() |
I would think so...Yes!! ...but i'd also think low self-esteem must have been a character trait of such women even before they were married... It doesn't also help that the rich generally love to show off and with women it's usually worse..! Whether you believe it or not, there's always a silent competition between women. Only a woman who thinks highly of herself and is not affected by the generally accepted "usual" will not let the acquisition or not of material things/her husnand's status dictate her complex. |
I don't find it difficult to tell any female her fly's open and do not expect that anyone(even though i might be a bit embarrased if its coming from a male) would find it difficult to tell me same... But for a guy,it would depend on who he is or appears to be.. Someone with sense should say thank you, adjust and move on to the next thing..but if you do that with most of my Naija guys, anything wey your ears hear thereafter,na you ask for it o! |
The symphatetic and apologetic tone of this story is disgusting...too obvious for effect! Besides, different versions of it has been passed around the internet for a while now... It looks and sounds like a proper Nollywood script! That said, infidelity is not excuseable on any grounds whatsoever.... The op's intentions to justify the woman actions is a FAIL! |
dopeJemi: Nicumpoopish arrogant hippoyou not the only one! Silly kiddo he is!! |
