I have successfully stopped subscribing on GoTV since 6-7years now. Why did I stop?
I remember I subscribed that month and discovered that the channels didn't fully load. I called their contact center and I was told they have removed the channels.

The lady that picked the call sounded so nonchalant, and that the remover is their choice and no need to inform the customer. I stopped subscribing the next month. They have called me tire since then, offered me incentives and inducements, I haven't changed my decision.

Monthly, I simply activate MTN's 200GB on my 5G router and enjoy movies of choice, YouTube, football etc.

I like the be in control and doing streaming gives me control cuz I have not subscription running whether I watch or not. I can also control my data usage. Some months, nah 110GB I use, some 150GB and I just roll over the data.


Since I saw the increase in bouquet I just dey laugh 😄

i commend your courage, you simply did the right thing. I once helped a girl that has a serious foul smell coming out from her private part just by standing close to her having a conversation, then you can imagine what will happen if she remove her panties. we were friends and she like coming to me for gist and so. For me it's simple... Report him/her to the HR. I once had an abusive boss who shouts and insult me with unprofessional language and made my life misery, I simply recorded one incidence and reported to the HR. And the HR without delay issued him with a warning letter. He got mad when he got the letter, he tried witch hunting me with appraisals but HR already knew his game plan so it never counts and there was nothing else he could do to me until he resigned and left.

Advice....Before you report your boss pls ensure you are on top of your job if not he will set you up with your shortcomings and you will lose at the end.

I think it's high time the government creates a body that regulates and checkmate the excesses of the so called bosses or job owners For me, I can tell you that aside multinational companies, the Nigerian owned companies are nothing but piece of shit.
My last experience was so horrible and mean, immediately the expatriates hand over to Nigerians (sorry to say Yoruba mgt) they started by sacking 95% of non Yorubas. The remaining 5% were treated like your free to go anytime. So you go to work everyday like it's your last day. They replace them with friends and relatives, educated and non educated people with no experience, some don't even know their left from their right, can't write a simple mail, they mismanage materials and diesel and they will look the other way like nothing happened.
Then no promotion, no salary reviews, they remove all exist benefits, stopped paying pensions, 13th month salary, leave benefit, no Christmas bonus nor party. Everything scrapped.
Some they will force you to resign or even when you resign on your own, you won't get your exit benefits. They will even advice you to get a lawyer to fight for your benefits and it'll linger forever.
The MD will abuse and talk to you as if you don't have a Father.
I mean it's so horrible....

I think this is height of stupidity and senselessness. Of what importance does shutting down south east affect federal govt or any of it's agencies? Igbos just bring hardship to themselves...Igbos are mostly traders, business owners, artisans, when you sell, is when you eat it has no other economic activity that affect other part of the country. We were like 7 guys posted to a neighbouring state from d company on a contract job of 7 months of which they are to provide accommodation for us with light,water n other conveniences.
we got to the site n they kept us in a face me I slap u with no light n water,we complained to our team leader n he told us everything is under control n negotiation that since they didn't provide conveniences as stated that we will b compensated.unknown to us that this guy have sent a report to head office that we have been well taken care of and he even went to the extent of snapping an hotel n sending it to d head office claiming it was our lodge.

we suffered throughout our stay n these Igbo team leader keep blocking all attempt to reach our head office, unknown to us that he has been heavily settled without paying us a dime.

After,the contract each if us wrote individual report n submitted it to the head office only for it to contradict what our Igbo team leader claimed.
A round table meeting was called and the guy was sacked n I remember d MD made a statement jokingly n I quote "it's like u Igbos need money than all of us ooo, maybe we should hold on for u b4 u sell all of us"......till now I learnt they haven't employed any Igbo till date.

Working in Yoruba company is the worst thing that can happen to you. They will frustrate you till you resign. In a Yoruba company, everybody is not equal, they will make sure Yoruba heads every department qualified or not. Then they only promote their people, pay them every single benefits merited and unmerited and keep other tribes the position they employed them. no promotion, no salary increase. I resigned from a Company because Yoruba took mgt of the firm from Kenyans and decided to sack 95% of Igbos just because of hatred from the head of operations. I was part of the remaining 5% and they gave us hell. The finance head will tell me to my face that he hates Igbos with passion and that if had the opportunity he will wipe out the tribe from the face of the earth.
They sack the Igbos without paying them benefits and ask them to engage a lawyer if they feel aggrieved that's how bad it is.
If a Yoruba person commits a sack offence, they iether hide the info or they will treat it with soft glove as if nothing happened and the person walks free even without a query.
Woe betide you if Igbo person defaults, you are gone, without investigation nor panel to defend yourself, that is if you're not arrested and locked up depending on the offence.

This is one of the most stupid and dumbest suicide mission I have ever seen in my life.
