I was accused of stealing #50 when I was a child, continuous beatings for days running to weeks without stop until I confessed to stealing the money and my dad bought new razor blade to give me mark at my back which makes the story unforgettable till today, I have to remind my father that I did not steal the money again after over 18years. The second one is even with a witness that insists he saw me stealing meat from the pot, an allegation that never happen and my parents believed my step brother and not me. I almost shed tears writing all these because it's hurt to the bone. I come from a very strict background.
I grew up in fear, submission and obedience to my parents, elders and relatives. I am well mannered. I have anger and temper issues but it never goes beyond sulking and crying silently to get it off my chest. I find it difficult to let go when aggravated but in trcent times, i have worked on myself so much that i channel my displeasure to free tears flowing down my cheeks after which i let go of everything.

I am always looking for excuses to run away from any form of marriage discussion whenever its comes to that, i don't give room to premarital sex. I don't know how to overcome this. When my potential suitor seems so nice and with good disposition and everything worth craving for , then i ask myself " who are these people that end up enemies suddenly and what on earth can cause someone to become so horrible that a once lovely marriage turns into chaos "

Honestly, i believe that with my tolerance level that i can manage a home and marriage but then,how can you tell that of your potential partner?

Sometimes, i just want to remain like this and grow old and still be very happy but then societal and family pressure to get married and have your own kids keeps getting higher which results to my running away more and more. To make it worse, i don't keep friends.

Do a personal deliverance on yourself and you will suddenly experience peace of mind in this area. Even though marriage is worth scared of but believe me, the joy and possible fulfilment marriage can give you hugely worth it. God and marry with God's leading.

I have tried everything possible within my capacity to help this guy but to no avail.
My friend is 22 and currently in one of the federal polytechnic here in Nigeria. This guy can speak good english well but the problem is he can not read nor write, the only thing he can write down is his name and Reg. No.

Last year, before first semester exam. I noticed that this guy is always avoiding conversation that involves reading or studying. I never saw him read, not even once. We are neighbours and friends.

I just decided to take it upon myself to find out what was wrong as I know, he is a good person but hiding something. So I offered to be helping him with his assignments and handout summary to my amazement the guy find it hard to read what I smartly asked him to. He refused to admit that he can't read, probably he was a shame to admit it, so I let him be.

He, then finally opens up to me about him not been able to read and write. Of course, this was after first semesters exam and I had to perster him before he was able to tell me of his secret. How have you been writing the exam then? I asked, he said "I submit blank paper" when the result came out he had 6 COs (carry overs).

Again, I offered to help. I did all his assignments, encourage him to write something in all his test, He improved on his CA and others except for reading as I told him to at list write some thing down.even if it means coping from someone siting next to him without getting caught, I'm not encouraging exam malpractice but he needed help urgently.

Now here's my major challenge and concern, Since January this year, I have used Queen's Premier, used other English materials, vowel and consonant sound

The only thing he's been able to read are just few two letter words. Thought I was the problem, so I lied to a friend who happens to be a lecturer that the guy needs help, and that he's finding it hard to understand his books. The lecturer agreed to help but later told the guy not to come again as the guy is still not getting any thing.

Please, help.... the guy want to learn but I don't know what exactly could be the problem.

For 5years of marriage, it's been conflicting about this church matter.

Where in the Bible did they say it's compulsory for the wife to go to the husband's church? I attended dominion city, and he attends redeem (RCCG), I tried for the first two years to follow him to redeem, but I couldn't feel it, every Sunday it's like going and coming from a wedding not a church, that feeling of feeling the Holy Spirit and being blessed is not there, I don't know who understands this feeling.

I talked to him in d third year he allowed me go back to my dominion city, and in d fourth year he stopped me again, I'm a worker there o, now till the fifth year I'm still forced to attend redeem, I have tried my best to open my heart to the church but no way...

Their ways just tire me at redeem, I miss the love, togetherness, prayers, worship and preaching at dominion city. Please I'm sorry I mentioned the name of churches i know some people love redeem, so I'm sorry.

Now for a month now, I have not gone to any church, and I'm tired of the whole thing, please matured advice needed.

My sister, I totally understand what you are passing through, I am once a Redeemed member to the level of been the president of Christian corper fellows of a whole state during my NYSC days and I will be lying if I don't understand what you are missing going to redeem, to be honest with you, my personal conclusion before I left redeemed church is that, the church will not allow me grow spiritually but only physically with connection to big people but real Christians life is gone in that church, I see an average redeem church members as just a church goer or half baked Christians, they have very good sermon but only 1% of what is in every sermon is actually manifesting on the members, prayer life is almost zero in redeem and many more, But since you requested for a candid advice, let me start with this assertion. IF YOU DID NOT KNOW GOD PERSONALLY, CHURCH DOCTRINES WILL KEEP FRUSTRATING YOU. You must understand that your own church too must have some doctrine or way of doing things that will not go well with others too, our main purpose as Christians is to know God personally and do his wish alone, follow bible standard and not any church standard. The last part of my advice is that, If you are truly a Christian, You will agree with me that, bible standard is for all wives to SUBMIT to there husband, based on this fact alone, GO AND WORSHIP GOD WITH YOUR HUSBAND AT REDEEMED CHURCH AND BE HAPPILY DOING IT. Heaven is our target and not church. Shallom.
