That error message on Nairaland new post has a way of messing one's effort up especially when you're typing on a laptop. I guess that was what happened to you

LOUDER Please
Opsycal:
I am a silent reader and i have been helping myself on this EE journey by doing the 2 things listed below
1. The search box is extremely helpful. I simply type my question in the search bar, select “travel section” and click on search. Gbam, I have it!
2. I come online everyday and when I sight an information that might be useful for me (now or later) in this journey...I simply copy the link, paste in my “Express Entry links folder” which I have on my phone and name it appropriately. I just refer to that folder when need be.
This page is honestly running too fast. Please let’s try and equip ourselves by reading more and asking less questions.
It will end in praise for us all in Jesus name.

Another colleague??

Newmum0615:
I used them. They are quite good. But there has been a mad rush lately. A colleague tried booking an appointment for her and her family this week and was told that the next available date is sometime in July. Can't remember the date. She opted for Children Practice instead cos she has to submit soon.

I just wanted to share the approach I used in getting multiple job offers. So as soon as we got our PR, I started to look for a job in Canada. So keep looking and searching and never say never you might just be able to get something before landing. I hope this helps someone, it will end in praise!

I have been to SA numerous times in the past... Bia, how did you enter SA without passing through immigration desk for stamping? Was it a private jet you used cos as far as i know, uou would have disembarked from the plane with your fellow passengers and the exit leads straight to immigration desk
sunkyawz:
Good morning my people, please I have a concern regards my travel history.
I travelled to South Africa on a company sponsored training. Being my first time of travelling out of Nigeria I didnt know I had to report at the immigration desk in South Africa so my international passport was not stamped at the point of entry.
When I was leaving, I was stamped out. The South African immigration raised hell when I was leaving their country. The Nigerian stamp is complete (2).

The issue now is that I have just one stamp for South Africa instead of two. Do you think the VO will raise an issue on the stamp? I am an accompanying spouse

hadecunleh:
If you are awaiting verification from Yabatech, I have good news for you.

WES sends verification request to Yabatech through email and courier, so once your WES account changes to "awaiting verification", shapaly visit Admin Building in Yabatech and ask for direction to the registrar's office (it's not a no-go-area like some yeye schools around here grin grin grin).

Once there, a woman in the inner office to your right is in charge of the registrar's email. She will ask for the day the mail was sent, for mine, i just told her the day my status changed on WES portal. She went inside and returned with a printed copy of the email after i gave her my reference number. She then asked me to go, that the verification response will reach WES latest 72hrs. She even adviced me to check back with Exams & Records in 24hrs to ensure that the verification has left.

God bless that woman, she even said don't pay anybody any money o, verification in Yabatech is free.

Good morning dearest Nairalanders,
I have been a silent reader for a while now. I am in the process of getting my ECA. I just concluded my Postgraduate diploma and have been issued a Notification of result only and the Certificate is not yet ready. I just want to know if it can be accepted by WES.

How is the IELTS Score the problemhuh

@Seyitorl2, Please confirm that your IELTS result is less than 2 years and also Confirm if you have done your evaluation and finally How much money did you state you will bring to Canada?

Adlib007:
Your IELTS scores are the problem. If you can get LRWS 8777 and make it into the pool before your next birthday, you'll be better off.

However, to improve your chances of getting an ITA, if you're married you may need to get your spouse to take IELTS and get ECA in order to gain more points. If your spouse is younger than you, she/he would be better as the PA.

To properly understand the whole process, you need to start reading from page 0.

Good luck!

What age is on her international passport
efueh:
My People my people!
A family friend I told about EE same time I got to know about EE in April, just got off the phone now, asking me the date of birth CIC uses.
She is done with her ECA and IELTS, with her CRS standing at 450. The problem she has now is that her age in her ECA & IELTS report is different from her real age that is in her passport. The age used by her uncle to create ECA/IELTS account was 3yrs over her real age. If she uses this wrong age captured in both her ECA/IELTS report, her CRS will drop by 15points to 435, which is not comfortable with.
So she is asking me on what to do and how best to address this challenges, before she enters the pool, as she doesn't want anything that will make her case to be that of "misrepresentation".

Can she write to both ECA body and IELTS body she used to correct her date of birth with proof and also ask them to reissue the reports when they oblige?
Or she should go with the option of preparing her LOE on where the mix up came from, get affidavit, birth certificate and enter the pool and hope for the best with prayershuh?
I need experience opinions as she is so so worried.
