lancdoz: the Governor knows that Nigerian president is around that country where any thief in power can do anything. To me he is just administering his official powers in the Nigerian context. What a moral booster coming from una President to the governor grin grin grin
what's this nonsense you've written?
Damn!!

Tolexander: The list isn't complete. Where are the other rich men?
Are they not mentioned or the refused to attend?

It is good to be squeezing the less powerfull countries in africa like south africa is doing to us.
lol at southafrica squeezing us.
Those guys struck gold before we did.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by solomon111(m): 8:15am On Sep 09, 2013
Fighter Pilot: Nigerians are indeed suffering from a gene associated to Chimpanzees of beating their chest. Patriotism has gone them into their heads and blindly enclosed their minds in a cocoon.

In 15 years to come, Nigeria will not have oil left which is currently their main source of revenues and they will be forced to rely on agriculture, Natural gas and Uranium.

Uranium and Natural gas does not make you rich, platinum, gold and oil is. Niger which produces the most uranium in the world is among the poorest countries in Africa. Uranium is the expensive mineral, nobody can dispute that but Nuclear proliferation poses a serious danger to the world which limit its projects from flourishing. Infact, I am even getting worried when SA wants to build more of nuclear reactors because accidents happens most of the times, ask Japan.

The enermy can also attack such installations which can result in radiation that will eventually kill multitudes.
The southafrican economy is hugely dependent on the minning of gold.
Nigeria has a lot of solid minerals especially gold and cobalt, yet unexplored.
Secondly, our oil deposits will last for atleast 60years at the minimum which is very conservative as more oil deposits are being discovered everyday.
Thirdly,Nigeria will never depend on uranium as our major foreign exchange earner,as Agriculture, manufacturing and solid minerals sectors are the sectors that the govt is currently developing to provide foreign exchange.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by solomon111(m): 7:57am On Sep 09, 2013
until kingdom come its been sixty years and counting
what do you mean 60years and counting?
When did you see Nigeria venture into minning and fail?.
We already have the largest oil industry in africa,do you think we won't have the largest minning industry if we decided to focus on minning.?
The Nigerian govt is bequeathing our huge mineral resources to the next generation to explore.

CraigB: That statement alone proves my point. You don't even know what takes. So, I spit on you.

Go speak to Ghana. You need them.
lol.
There's no shame in asking for a little expertise from more experienced countries in minning.
What i am sure of is that,we will have the largest minning industry in africa in 2 years.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by solomon111(m): 12:28am On Sep 09, 2013
CraigB: Nice indeed. But a cup of tea is nice.

____

Mines don't run on peanuts and bananas.

They run on money and brains.

You don't have the mining infrastructure. You don't have the know-how. You don't have the mining economy.

Talk to us once you've built same. You could always ask for help from Ghana. They know far more about mining than you do.
lol.
It will take Nigeria less than 2 years to develop a minning sector that will dwarf the rest of africa.
We're just bidding our time.
Foreign AffairsRe: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by solomon111(m): 12:17am On Sep 09, 2013
Nigeria has more than 7% of the world's uranium deposit, while Niger-republic a border country to Nigeria and a "sister nation" has the largest deposit of uranium in the world.
Very Nice.!!
Nigeria is surrounded by uranium.

oh please,spare us the insult.
Ghadaffi was an enemy of the Nigerian state.
He was always asking for the division of Nigeria along religious lines.
Ghadaffi dug his own grave when he became a public enemy of Nigeria.
Uhuru kenyatta of kenya and omar the president of sudan both wanted by the ICC are currently enjoying Nigeria's support even at the risk of UN sanctions against Nigeria.
We support our friends to the end.
PoliticsRe: Kenya Offers Oil Blocs To Nigerian Investors by solomon111(m): 11:37pm On Sep 08, 2013
I hope some of those "oil money" from kenya will flow back to Nigeria.
We shouldn't give them expertise for nothing.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Partners Russia To build A Nuclear Power Station! by solomon111(m): 7:55pm On Sep 08, 2013
We should build atleast 3 of those nuclear plants and then allow the russians to control it for atleast 8 years with a commensurate transfer of "technical know-how" from the russians at the same time.
It's not as complex as it sounds.
South-africa has a nuclear power plant and they're still alive.
why can't we?
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Partners Russia To build A Nuclear Power Station! by solomon111(m): 7:47pm On Sep 08, 2013
CAMEROONPRIDE: solar, gas, wind and bio fuel are pretty diverse. Don't u think so ?
Solar and wind have the same problem.
Totally unreliable,and expensive for industries.
Biofuels are currently undergoing research.
Even the most advanced countries have not yet utilized it.
The only valid option is Gas.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Partners Russia To build A Nuclear Power Station! by solomon111(m): 7:36pm On Sep 08, 2013
CAMEROONPRIDE: Use Gas and dam or even wind then.
We want enough megawatts in the shortest possible time.
The FG should ofcourse invest and develop electricity sources from gas especially, but that shouldn't stop us from diversifying.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Partners Russia To build A Nuclear Power Station! by solomon111(m): 7:18pm On Sep 08, 2013
CAMEROONPRIDE: dude talk about what you know solar panel can't do what? What do u mean by powering naija? It simple if you want light in the streets you use solar plots, if you want light in an area in any given area use solar period this is how a country is powered..u don't expect that they will build a solar central and then distribute it to people? It just doesn't make sense
who is talking about street lights?
Many street lights in Nigeria are currently being powered by solar.
Solar power cannot produce enough energy to power the industries and SMEs,which is the main focus of the Nigerian govt.
Infact the solar panels that can produce enough energy to power industries are so expensive that it will increase the cost of production and make it highly unfeasible.
There is no country in the world that powers its industries through solar.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Partners Russia To build A Nuclear Power Station! by solomon111(m): 6:35pm On Sep 08, 2013
nora544: When the goverment help the people who have a house with cheap solarpanel nigeria whould have no problem with energy.

Solar power is much better than nulear power, and ther4e are so many ways you can get energy from solarpanel.

What is with wind power, that is also what we have here in europa. In Germany they build it also offshore they have big windparks, why could nigeria not work on this.
Solar panels can never be compared to Nuclear power sources.
The only advantage the former has over the latter is safety.
Solar panels are less efficient, and produce much less energy.
A solar power project that would provide significant amount of energy to power Nigeria would be far too expensive it becomes unfeasible.
A single Nuclear power plant can power the entire Northern Nigeria, while the south will be powered through hydrocarbons.

US lawmakers don't need caps.
They are expert in wiring funds to foreign countries probably better than their Nigerian counterparts.

Foreign AffairsRe: Malawi To Feed Poor With Cash From Selling President's Jet by solomon111(m): 1:03am On Sep 06, 2013
This malawian president is just trying to con the malawian people.
One of the basic duty of govt is definitely the reduction of hunger and poverty.
I see no reason why it should be shouted at the roof-top and displayed as a gargatuan achievement.
Smh at the mediocrity of african leaders.

Maybe you've been preparing some chemical weapons for Syria, cos I can see "chemical engineering, the bla bla bla of industrialization" in your status.
Though I'm not supporting anybody, I just dnt want to witness a one sided match. I wish you would just get a visa to syria, so U can taste that Chemical weapon, since you want to die for Syria.

PoliticsRe: Dangote Visits Jonathan After Signing Refinery Loan Deal by solomon111(m): 11:08pm On Sep 05, 2013
ghananotnaija: I just wonder how did Dangote manage to win over the fuel importation cartel? Knowing Nigerians, I suspect he is just using this as a ploy to loot Nigeria even further.

If Nigeria really wants to stop import petro, then they should turnover the oil operations to Ghanaian firms.
Ghanian firms?
Lol.
The only refinery in ghana does not produce up to the capacity of that old refinery in the niger-delta, neither does ghana have a private business firm worth $1billion, yet you want to delve into heavy oil and gas investments .
How many indigenous petroleum engineers does ghana even have?
I am sure most are expatriates from Nigeria and beyond.

PoliticsRe: President Jonathan's Speech At The South-African Parliament (Video) by solomon111(m): 7:22pm On Sep 05, 2013
sweetcheecks: Lol, its your fact, that is why your President spends 3/5 of his speech just to remind people of your claim. No need to get mad. Its a fact also that South Africans do not recognise your claim and your insults and claims seems to entranch their doubts even more. Kill myself? Heeeeeeheee, it looks like you are the only people that seem to be offended by not being recognised as an entity in the struggle against apartheid. I am sure you need it badly to further strengthen another one of your claims of being the "giant of Africa". Do you think we loose sleep about your claim? Hell no! We do not give ratz azz about it. But I guess you need it to sleep well so please go ahead by all means, the rand will remain stronger than the naira. grin
who cares if the largely ignorant southafricans refuse to accept it?
The knowledgeable southafricans and the govt accept and recognize our support.
