How come 100% of those against this selection aren't from Lagos and most of them have no stake in the state?

I need people like Alh_harem, Desola, Kats, Ola one, Tony Spike, Dudu_negro et al's opinion on this.

However, I'll support anyone that can reduce the population of Lagos by at least 50%. Most of the people in the state shouldn't be there in the first place. A state as small as Lagos carrying the burden of 5 states is just unacceptable, to be honest.

London
Size = 1,570 km²
Population: 8.174 million
Popular opinion = overpopulated

Lagos
Size = 999.6 km²
Population: about 20 million

Unacceptable!!
Before i even reply you,go and check the threads about Amaechi/GEJ imbroglio.
99% of those commenting are not from rivers.

pro01: In fact, I can work for free as a political/electoral strategy consultant for the PDP in Lagos, and I guarantee that if my blueprint is followed, the party would record a landslide victory at the polls. You need to interact with common people all over Lagos surburbs (the same people who would vote on election day) to understand just how unpopular Fashola and his gang of elitist thieves in the ACN have become in the state. If the PDP fails to win Lagos in 2015, the party should be disbanded.
Lagos state has one of the highest number of street children with one of the poorest educational system in the south, yet the elitist governor is wasting money on a time-bomb called "eko-atlantic city".

take dat: Why are you so upset and why the double standard? You were comfortable with Jonathan handpicking a man for millions of Bayelsans and imposing Tukur on the PDP. Oh, its permissible when it comes to PDP but not to the opposition. If you want to condemn imposition, let it be a general condemnation and kindly watch your vitriol!
That's equally wrong.
APC/ACN prides themselves as "progressives", why should they now copy an unprogressive, undemocratic system.?
Politics › Re: Hamzat In Pole Position To Succeed Fashola by solomon111(m): 1:52pm On Jul 09, 2013

Akson man: All PDP needs to do is to scout for a seasoned, well trained professional and 'Christian' lagosian candidate. If PDP's 'Christian' candidate is not assassinated like they did to Funsho Williams, then in 2015 PDP will surely give ACN/APC a good battle.

Secondly,PDP's propaganda machinery should by now be compiling all Lagos investments linked directly or indirectly to Tinubu, starting with the illegal collection of taxes and levies from Lagos market women...as election draws near, they massively spread the word.

"Divide and Rule" does work like a charm
I think PDP is slacking in lagos.
Lagos is one of the easiest states for PDP to win,if they are smart enough.
Politics › Re: North Must Produce The President In 2015 Without Negotiation –shuluwa by solomon111(m): 1:34pm On Jul 09, 2013
The North is truely the hope of Nigeria.
They've never held power before and they are promising us something new.
Their region is the most developed in Nigeria, and the only state which the Northern party APC controls is the most developed and stable state in the country.
Let all of us CRETINS vote for the North.

take dat: I am not disputing that, Imposition is imposition and I agree that Dictatorship and imposition of undemocratic ideals is a threat to our democracy. But there is a huge difference between imposing a competent candidate(Fashola) as against imposing a charlatan(Dickson).lol!

Bayelsans are smug and content with moronarchy misgovernment system!
smh.
Is imposition of candidates the right thing to do?
It is really sad that people who like you lambast PDP day and night do not see anything wrong with this.
I don't care if hamzat is winston churchill.
This is wrong!
This is very wrong.
Anyway,all hail the "progressives"
Politics › Re: Hamzat In Pole Position To Succeed Fashola by solomon111(m): 1:03pm On Jul 09, 2013
Seriously,this is madness.
How can one man impose a candidate on a state, yet some people see nothing wrong with it.
Are we in a democracy or what?
Yet these are the same people that will call GEJ a tyrant for allegedly rejecting amaechi as the leader of NGF.
Is this the kind of "leadership" APC/ACN is promising Nigerians?
These are scary times indeed.

dinggle: This is unfair, BH did not ask for a ceasefire during the Christian holy month, they never respected Sundays, Easter, Christmas etc, the timing of the ceasefire is awfully wrong. The ceasefire should have been signed after the holy month, these were ppl who took bombing campaign to churches. The GEJ govt has once again failed Christians. Why signing a ceasefire in a war you have won??

The ceasefire failed Nigerians if:
1. Boko Haram did not come out openly not for them not to be arrested but to be finger printed.
2. If the boko haram leaders did not apologize openly not to the government of Nigeria but to the innocent souls they took in the cause of their senseless campaign.
3. If they did not submit their entire weapons and accept the ceasefire without any compensation which should be paid to widows and children of bread winners BH killed.
4. If the govt compensated them in any form without compensating widows, and children who are suffering because their bread winner was taken away from them by BH.
I will advice you not to completely believe this news.
We've heard numerous fake reports of "cease-fire" in the past one year.
I won't be surprised if abati refute this news tommorrow.

The governor of both states are inbred cretins to engage in such shameful behaviour at a time like this.
The leader of ohanaeze should summon the two governors and give both of them a resounding slap.
Maybe that would jolt their addled brains to reality and commonsense.

There are talented Nigerians.atleast i've seen a few.
There is just no proper structure for them to thrive.
The NSC should be looking into this.

Sports › Re: Murray Beats Djokovic To Win Wimbledon by solomon111(m): 7:02pm On Jul 07, 2013
shymexx: It has nothing to do with that. Andy was just too good for him. He took away Djoko's forehand - and it was so bad, Djoko became less confident trading rallies with Andy and he had to start coming to the net.

Djoko doesn't deserve to be in the final, anyway. Del Potro would've have knocked him out, if he were to be 100% fit during the semis.
so in other words, murray is the best in the world.
