A pastor friend who has been in Bayelsa for more than 10 years called me 4 days ago to send N5k into his account because the economy of the dominant civil servant state is down completely. Church members are not giving offerings and tithes again.

I have been doing dredging in Bayelsa for d past 3 years. 3 years ago I supplied sand Danta-Danta Sawoe through Alams brother because Alams has interests in the company. Uptill now I have not been paid. The land owner asked me to bring more money in order for me to sell the remainibg sand last year but I refused. He is the one chasing me to come sell the sand at my own terms provided he gets something. Bayelsa is a state that if they have visonary leaders as Lagos they would have sand-filled the stretch from mbiama to patani but instead Goodluck empowered the militants. They were the ones calling the shots such that no reasonable business men will come there. Last year Dickson organised an economic summit calling on investors to come and invest in Bayelsa including agriculture. He gave very enticing incentives. The key questions to him and his team from attending investors was how will they address issue militancy and security.

I can't agree more with you. By now the social media should be used to mobilise millions and occupy NASS until we force out the NASS current leadership and those that did the appropriations. We don't leave d NASS until they are out and their constituencies send replacement. That is the only way Nigeria can move forward. There has to be drastic action. I am ready to join if only I have d means of mobilising the multitude

Guys this story is so true. Most Africans respect Nigerians. I am talking of personal experience when I was transferred in 1995 to work in Equatorial Guinea, Congo and Gabon on drilling rigs owned by Transoceanic ( then Schlumberger Sedco Forex). We Nigerians were the only Africans equal in status as expatriates. On one of our rigs, I was in charge of mud logging and drilling instrumentation with French and British nationals reporting to me. We had all 4 Nigerian drillers with French assistant drillers. The same thing happened in 2006 when I had expats working (Indians, Americans, British) under me for a project in Dubai that lasted 4 months. Globally you have Nigerians in the oil and gas holding key positions. We just need good leadership back home to make our country get to the great position God has destined it to be.

What we see play out is typical of what has been going on for the past 16 years. It was normal for NASS to reconfigure budgets, introduce and allocate some projects of their own interests which will be "executed" by them ( in most cases, they either sell or abandon the projects) to make money.

I thank God for Buhari who has insisted on doing the right thing. That was why the padding that normally take place at Budget office came to light. Now the NASS aspect has surfaced.

Ask anybody who do NDDC projects. Ehat they fo to the federal budget is what they do to Nddc budget. They will remove projects ongoing from budgets and insert their own. That is why you see abandoned projects everywhere. The mega projects are awarded from N1b and above are cornered by them. NASS is d real problem of d country. If they can be dealt with then we will make progress. Again I thank God I voted for change, otherwise it will be business as usual. If NASS cannot get their way they will ensure executive perform, and that will be better for Nigeria.

Fir your info, it is traditional for NASSto handle budgets in this manner to serve their own selfish interests. I saw that first hand with NDDC budget. They will remove bugetd they did not prepare and insert theirs. that is why NDdC projects that should finish in one year will last 4-6 years. For instance, they removed my ongoing project for which they NDDC had paid mobilisation and which I have completed to 40% from the 2013 budget and brought it back in 2015 with less that 15% provision. I would have finished it in one year but I have abandoned d road until they (NASS) puts it back. NDDC inserts d project from their but it gets removed at NASS. A friend had to pay N4.5m to someone in NASS to get his N250m NDDC road project awareded to him in 2011 put back in 2015 as he had mobilised to site. In this report they removed ongoing roads and inserted the ones that had not even been scoped. I am 100% behind Buhari to put a stop to the mess that NASS over the years do to budgets. WE MUST CHANGE

The governors knew Alams did not die and would not want to be associated with scam which his death really is. I wonder how he will live his life as fugitive until he truly dies.

My own experience is different
My data rate is still ok in fact this current obe is almost 4 weeks. But the incident I had was that while I still had almost 2 GB on my blackberry plan (1.4k/3gb), Glo was charging my main account. I called the customer service and it took almost an hour. They even directed me to dedicated bb customer care. The rep suggested I visit one of their shops. But I did not go since I use Techno . Suddenly the charges stopped and I still have over 1 GB left. It was airtel that I experienced super data burn rate. Their android 1.5k/3gb lasted only 3 days when I left Glo on account of increase the N1k bbcmonth plan to N1.4k. I quickly ran back to Glo and current recharge has lasted almost a month.

The data burn rate is out of this world. Don't be surprised your 3 GB will disappear within a week. The last one I subscribed lasted 3 days. I decided to use airtel after Glo increased their bb plan for 3 GB from 1k to 1.4k. I quickly ran back to Glo. My 3gb plan is on thr 3 rd week now with very fast service. Good luck with airtel, pls share your experience on the data burn rate

Airtel is fraudulent when it comes to data. I will never touch any of their data bundle based on my several experience with their 3gb/1.5k which burns out within 2 days ni matter how careful you use it.

It is all lies and control statements. Jesus never resurrected. No one goes into space with this body. Oxygen is not there at high altitude. How can his body survive without oxygen. I doubt the resurrection story 100%.

If you are a Christian, then it will be easier for you to believe because after resurrection, Jesus body turned to celestial body which is immortal (being spiritual) 1 Cor 15:36-58. This is what will happen to all believers we make heaven, their bodies shall be turned to celestial bodies because natural bodies cannot be in heaven.

Romans 6:7 for the one who has died has been acquitted of his sins. Goes hand in hand with Romans 6:23 that says when you sin against God what you get as reward is death. What else again.

ROM 6:7 cannot be taken in context without reading the earlier verses 5 to 6 and later 8 to 9 ( normal practice to have clear understanding of what is being said.

Now apostle Paul was saying here that a true believer whose spirit has been regenerated will be dead to sin because his spirit can now fellowship with Spirit of God. All baptized believers are expected to be baptized into Jesus death such that as Christ was raised from the dead we should also operate in the newness of life as our spirit is now back to life. It is expected that our sinful body(old man) of sin has been crucified with Christ such that we should not be slaves to sin under which we were operating as unbelievers. So verse 7 now says because we have died (as in our sinful body which used to be slave to sin) has died and no longer under the control of sin (I.e freed from sin) because the Spirit of God can now control us on account of our regenerated spirit having accepted Christ and died with him. The verse is not saying that the dead who died their sin will be free from condemnation.

God is the only God of justice. How can he punish a man for the sin he inherited, and lived for less than 100years with eternity in fire? Is that justice?

Some years back in Lagos, I little house girl stole meat from the pot (she has done something bad and should be punished) but the woman who employed her punished her by bathing her with kerosene and set her ablaze. It is these same us that was cursing this woman that she's a devil, she's this she's that. You re saying God will do this same thing and it's OK? God has given us a sense of reasoning. It's left to us to use it.

Adam and Eve that committed this sin we inherited were never sent to hell. Instead God said "they will return to the dust that they were made from" why will a God of justice now send those that inherited the sin to hell.

Besides, Revelations 20:14 "And death and the Grave were hurled into the lake of fire. This means the second death, the lake of fire."

How can grave and death be thrown into the fire if it's a physical fire? Can grave and death suffer? This fire here can never be literal but figurative. This is why the Bible refer to it as the second death. The second death is a death without any hope of resurrection.

First one has to understand the two deaths mentioned in the Bible. I can give you some of where the second death is been mentioned. Please remove any kind hatred for Jehovah's Witnesses from your heart and read from your own Bible. Revelations 20:6, 20:14, 2:11, 21:8, if you understand what the second death is, then you will know what the first death is and why the Bible use fire in place of the second death.

That we don't blv in hell those not mean we don't fear God. We do but the hope of a better future as promised by God is too good to miss. This is why despite all the persecution and insults we have never and will never be derailed in our course. We preach without tiring.

Just give us a listening ears. What are we to gain if we are to deceive you? Will we go through all these troubles just to incur the wrath of God on ourselves?
We are not forcing people to join us. We are not out to be the richest religious organisation in the world, we don't tithe, we donate freely as we have resolved in our hearts not by force. God loves a cheerful giver.

Oga there is no church denomination in the Bible. It does not matter which one you belong to, JW Rçcg, Catholics, etc what is important is to follow the commandment of God in the Bible without trying to reason it out. That is why Jesus said children should come to him for theirs is the kingdom of God. My Bible tells me clearly that there is here even in revelation 20 that you quoted and that Hades and Death will end up in lake of fire like all those whose names are not in the book of life.

It's easy to say God is merciful and loving, but never forget that God is a God of justice, and justice says that "the wages of sin is death", justice also says "the soul that sins shall die". God is the same yesterday, today and forever, He doesn't change His nature. The just nature of God demands that every unrepented sin be punished, and his merciful nature demands that every repented sin be forgiven and spared punishment. That is why God can only forgive and be merciful towards our sins when we repent of them. God cannot forgive a sin that is not repented of. This why based on the character of God, it is impossible for Him to allow a sinner go free of punishment if the sinner does not repent, but it is also impossible for God to condemn a sinner who has truly repented of his sins irrespective of the gravity of sin the person committed in the past. What makes God show His mercy to a sinner is not the sinner's personality, but the sinner's repentance from his sins and IDENTIFICATION WITH THE SACRIFICE OF CHRIST(which happens when a person asks Jesus Christ to come into his life and become his Lord & Saviour).

God is too holy to behold sin, and that is why a sinner who has not obtained mercy and forgiveness of his sins by the blood of Jesus CANNOT ENTER HEAVEN. The only other alternative to heaven where any person can end up when they die is Hell.

Please read what Jesus said in Matthew 10:28 "And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell"

Also read what Jesus said in Mark 9:43 "And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched"

Salvation through Jesus Christ is not an option for anybody. It is a must for anyone who does not want to end up in hell. Nobody in his right senses will want to be tormented day and night forever without any hope of coming out from the pains. God in His mercy made a way out for us all by allowing Jesus to die for our sins so that if we believe in Him we will no longer have to pay for our sins ourselves in hell since Jesus has already done so, and the law of double jeopardy can be satisfied.

On point. As Christians we have a duty to teach and preach. It is now left for anyone to twist and argue with human philosophy what the Bible says

I think you are wrong. Hell is mentioned severally in the Bible - PS 55:15, Luke 5:12, Matt 23:33. Hell fire specifically by Jesus in mark 9:43-47, Matt 5:22
