PoliticsRe: The Worst State Capital You Have Visited by Somatic(m): 3:44pm On Nov 13, 2011
In the race for the worst state capital in the country, we see a close one between Ado Ekiti and Lokoja with Benin City and Awka as strong contenders.

Buh come to think of it. Go to Birnin Kebbi and yhu will appreciate what Esama has done for Okada. Okada is better than Birnin Kebbi. Dutse is just like its name. 1 stone filled village. Where public roads are like Ekwulobia side streets. Really I feel that rather than create new states,(if it will happen sef) some existing states should be merged with stronger, more viable ones.
FashionRe: Should You Wear Your Suit With The Label? by Somatic(m): 10:56am On Nov 12, 2011
Can't really say. It depends. Me remove the labels before wearing the suit. Buh my younger brother has this suit that the label is so tight and finely stitched that we decided maybe it was intended to be left as is. Still it depends sha. To every his own.
Car TalkRe: What's The Fastest Speed You've Experienced In A Car? by Somatic(m): 1:23pm On Nov 09, 2011
Ï dey fear. 100km/h does it for me for now. Buh I've been driven to school once in speeds in excess of 220km/h notwithstanding the Lokoja hold up. The vehicle was a tear rubber then diesel LR defender 2005 model. When mumsi noted that we had entered Benin City around 12 thereabouts (we left Kaduna some minutes past eight), she promptly called my dad who threatened the poor driver with his job should a repeat happen. The return trip to KD was completed at some decent minutes to four. Who wan lose job?
EducationRe: Ali And Simbi Are They Still Boy/girl? by Somatic(m): 6:43pm On Nov 05, 2011
We seem to have forgotten Amobi of the bottled Leopard. Heard He's now a Nollywood director and part time prophet of a fast rising white garment church,

Heard Chuck his friend is a Professor of African History at NYU.

Buh what about Mma? Heard she never married. True?

Christianity EtcRe: Pastor Chris Oyakhilome's House And Jeeps (Picture) by Somatic(m): 1:00am On Sep 20, 2011
@All: while I Strongly disapprove of exaggerated display of opulence amongst men of God, we should b rational and have the fear of God in our posts.
@Pst.Kun: How dju kno that yhur guy isn't some phony who just wants to beef up yhur hate aganist the CE? For the love of God, that house looks like a hotel or private office. Save the lawn,  the building sef isn't tite. And except Pastor Chris has a deal with Toyota, Y shld he possess only Prado jeeps? Smacks of poor taste to me
@Joe: that CE members deify Pst. Chris is almost a fact. Quit defending him like he's blameless. Yés CE teaching has somewhat (mayB not intended) brainwashed its members and if Christ is to b really glorified, we must descend that He may ascend.

Pst.Chris has made his mark. He has touched lives in positive (and not so positive)ways. We Christians esp in these times should leave positive impacts towards the advancement of God's Kingdom and not help him separate the weeds from the crop exposing ourselves to ridicule in the process.

PS: I'm Anglican.

@ all
Neither the road nor the government is to be blamed for the death of our artists in road mishaps. Rather, blame the artists who drive as if they have a duplicate life. I have been driving on the Lagos - Benin Road for the past 10 years, sometimes up to thrice a week and to the glory of God, I have not had a single accident. That is not to say that roads should not be made better, but my take is that accidents do not happen they are caused. Everyone knows Nigerian roads are not bad, so there is need for extra care. Drivers should not put themselves under pressure when embarking on a long journey. They should set off early enough. Besides, a good rest a day before the long journey will keep the driver awake and alert. Not only that, drivers should aty away from all intoxicants before and during a trip. Finally, if I were going for my traditional wedding or any joyous occasion, I would rather not drive myself as the joyful occasion one is going may make one ever-excited. Nigerian stars should learn to employ the services of trained professional drivers. It does nto cost much! Our artists should stop wasting their lives and causing us unnecessary sorrow. He that has ears, let him hear what the spirit says,
My exact sentiments
While I am not happy for the loss of one of Nigeria's finest musicians, I will deceive myself into blaming the Govt. And the nature of the road without considering the action(or inaction) of MC Loph himself. Yhu don't easily lose control driving 50mph @ least with the sort of vehicle he drove in. It was a lone accident, most likely a result of overspeed coupled with a fault in the car. Please we Nigerians need to take extra precautions when treading our roads. The govt has done bad by not making them useable. We should not worsen it by dying on them. We should not tempt the devil please.

Front- Acura MDX or so
Rear- Subaru Impreza
Body- cross btw the lil sis Corolla and a Cadillac CTS.

Car looks good buh dosent seem to carry the official reps the previous model commanded. Buh FG plates seem to fit every car in vogue yhu neva kno

The dash tho industrial (preferable for an SUV perhaps) is way better than its predecessor's which even with the nav looked like a waste of 4-7m(no offense). Hard plastic everywhere.

Xpecting the car to hit Abj soon. Trust us Nigerians.

PhonesRe: Can A Nigerian-sourced Blackberry (mtn) Run A Uk-sourced Sim (o2)? by Somatic(m): 2:41pm On Aug 07, 2011
Some issues have to b addressed.
First, wherr was the BB bought?
Also, what model of BB does she use?
Was it factory unlocked or locked to any network?
Coz,
Sims work better on factory unlocked BBs than previously locked ones.
Also, some networks don't work on certain BBs.
Its two sided. Phone and Network(Sim).
PhonesRe: Can A Nigerian-sourced Blackberry (mtn) Run A Uk-sourced Sim (o2)? by Somatic(m): 2:03pm On Aug 07, 2011
Most BBs bought at the MTN office are factory unblocked. I doubt MTN locks BBs (at least not mine). If its the case in yhur friend's then she's good to go. Ask her wherr she bought the BB.
