I also believe that the belief in God and religion is what has kept countries like Nigeria backwards. The countries doing the best in the world are those that are heavily invested in Science and Technology. And yes, no country is perfect.

But if you think that we are on earth just to prepare to go to heaven, then stop doing anything else and just share the word of God till you die. No need to go to school, no need to work, after all your God does miracles, he will send manners from heaven, like he does for the pastors that don't work, but are rich.
