Hi, it ranges btw hours to days. if your water has broken pls find your way to the hosp. The longer you stay the more the risk of infection for baby and the more the chances of your baby spending time in SCBU.

So I went to see me doc, he requested I go hav a scan/cervical measurement (Co's of past mc @ 19wks), but all was fine, I thot I was 11wks but sono said 9+4 (probably Co's I. Had long cycles and ovulate late) so he is puttin in a cerclage at 13wks, he now gave me Ventolin tabs, to help relax my uterine muscles and prevent any contractions,
Pls has anyone ever taken ventolin or sabutamol to prevent preterm labor? I read it online some pple saying it makes dem jumpy or have heart palpitations.

Yeah! Salbutamol causes heart palpitation, tremor and makes one 'jumpy'. These are the side effects and can be tolerated. I know ladies that have used it as a tocolytic. All the best

Very common. No remedy that i know of. Just don't try to stretch on bed especially as you wake up. I found out it starts my own. Happy bumping

Why don't you ask around, your colleagues or church members. Try ubth na. They take your time but they are experienced and don't take chances. All the best

@soonest, half glass of the pumpkin juice, with peak milk it will now get to 3quarter. It's sweat sha because of the milk, I don't go near it when they are extracting, I close my nose when drinking. It has helped. My mum said when I am drinking I should say I am drinking the Blood of Jesus...lol

To mamas fighting with strength Pumpkin leave and milk is not too bad it works.

Oh mine! How was the taste. Is it a glass full? How much liquid milk? Which brand. Sorry for the many questions? I'm trying to gather strength to try it out. Pls encourage me, i hope i don't throw up

I use a 2006 Honda Accord too, though i don't have this problem with my key, but i think you should change the battery inside the remote key, its the same battery that is used by an 'ORGANISER'. The remote key has a little screw, open the screw and separate the two parts of the key and replace the battery. Hope it solves the problem. cheers

How about a situation whereby the remote key only unlocks the driver door while other doors refuse to unlock at the second press? Meanwhile, the unlock button on the driver panel locks/unlocks all doors. Also, when the driver door control is used to unlock all doors, the remote key can be used to lock them all at once but would only unlock the driver door even after the second press

I am home now. We were discharged to the Glory of God yesterday evening after 4 days and 3 nights.

So I felt cool with myself on the day of the scheduled CS, could barely sleep all night and finally slept at 4am. They asked me to show up at 6:30am but woke up at 5:30am. That's how I started rushing and waddled to the bus stop. Got to the hosp at 7am and the doctor had been calling non stop. By the time I was admitted, they had 2 other emergency CS and I was not an emergency so I had to wait till 12 noon.

By 12 noon, I was wheeled to the operating room then the anesthetician came to set up the epidural. I was nervous about it but he played some music to reduce my tension. I still felt some sensation in my feet, but the pain medication made me feel disoriented. So the surgery started, and I was feeling how the doctor was ripping my belly. I just knew that this was awkward. The doc asked the anaesthetician to increase the epidural dose because I am on the big side, which they did. But I was still having some feeling. In few mins, I heard the doc tell the team, 'This is not a small baby, we have to work together to get her out' then she turns to me and says 'you gonna hate me now but just endure'. Oh boy, the pain came from my brain! Took 3 docs to drag her out, one held the head, another dragged the body then one pushed down from near my ribcage. Then it dawned on me the epidural had stopped working. I started squirming, in pain all over, the next thing I heard was 'you have to knock her out, she's moving!'
When I later saw the doctor, she said I was snoring soundly after the surgery! Lol! I came around in the recovery room with numb legs, as in, felt nothing except my hands. See panic! But in about an hour, the left side came up, then the right side followed.

Then I waited and waited for them to bring the baby o, they said, baby was in the nursery. By evening, my host came and said they were taking the baby to the NICU overnight, she had hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) due to her size.
The next day after CS, I got up and walked with only socks on my feet to locate the NICU. What kind of story is this? I got there and saw my giant baby in an incubator hooked up to machines and iv lines. But the doctors said she was stable and will soon be out of there. They were only running series of tests on her and she was passing all. The blood sugar level had stabilized overnight so they were taking her off the drips slowly and administering formula to maintain a good level. So I went back to my room to take all the rest I could before vigilante starts finally. Till now, baby doesnt want to suckle. I have to express milk into a bottle for now but the struggle continues to have her latch on to feed

To to glory of God we left the hospital at the scheduled time, both of us doing awesome. Baby even had a APGAR score of 9/9.

Keep watching this space, will put up her picture for a few mins in a bit.

That is my birth story. It has only been God all the way. Halleluyah! Nef is finally a mommy and it feels like bliss. Mehn, after being preg since March last year, vigilante is a welcome development.

Congrats dear! Thank God it all ended in praise.
