Do you mean IPT(fansidar)? As from 16weeks i.e after quickening( after u notice your baby's first movement)

I'm not asking her to agree to cs or not, I'm only asking her to arm herself with knowledge and make an informed decision. Not a decision based on how other women have birthed bigger babies.
I didn't examine her, I suggested a pelvimetry.
Mere wishful thinking does not help in anyway, but knowing the pros and cons of every decision helps.
A second opinion from another doctor is always welcome. I wasn't happy with people advising her to discount what her doctor said without facts.
This is a forum to help people not put your decision on them.

You should say you weren't happy with SOME people advising her to discount.....
I for one asked her some questions and advised her to ask her doctor alot of questions to make an informed decision.

@soonest my dear everything is normal . baby is lying well.head down cephalic presentation face down . everything is perfectly ok.i just don't know wey d joy killer doc came from cuz he is not even my consultant. from day one of pregnancy my bp has been normal, no sugar nor protien in urine, no morning sickness, swelling of d legs nor headache till now.testes for sugar with blood last week my sugar level was 4.4.that was the first time of me meeting him and he came up with d idea of cs cuz of d scan result I should him whih stated a week before d antenatal that baby was 3.7kg.he asked me to do another scan after meeting me which was last week I did and it said 3.8kg.the only reason he gave me for elective cs was that I am a ftm and baby is weighing 3.8kg already at 39weeks ooo that it is not adviceable for me to push.....meanwhile I gather for waist no be small ooo.....lol.....I have never had any operation before so mo scar.....

My dear pls seek second opinion and ask lots of questions. It's strange to me. How tall are you?

Induction is not an alternative for CS. Find out the reason your Dr wants an elective CS for you. Do you have a previous scar? Did they do pelvimetry and assessed your pelvis inadequate? What's the lie of your baby? If it's just the weight, people birth 3.8kg every now and then. Engage your Dr in questions so that you can make an informed decision. Cheers

Babe! It was anaemia in late pregnancy. As soon as they corrected the anaemia and i had reached term, the practice is to induce and bring out the baby. Reason being they don't know what reduces the pcv and they wouldn't want it to go down again before labour.
Sorry for the long explanation

No need to be scared. Yes induction is painful but then it's faster all things being equal. In my last preg i was induced at 37weeks. Induction started by 7am and i gave birth 10am. It was very painful mainly towards the end when they increased the drip to 64drops per min. After delivery i felt so strong and was walking up n down dat d nurses had to ask dat i remain on my bed till they say otherwise. I was later discharged dat same day. This was d opposite in my 1st where i suffered for long. Pls if u will b induced ask alot of questions from d beginning to the end. Drs are very positively cautious when dealing with women dat r knowledgeable and ask alot of questions. All the best

What a perfect match!. Until the day he bursted it out that he is married with kids and he was sweating and breathing so restlessly, waiting for me to breakup with him, i reassured him i will still love him at that, he explained he impregnated the girl and his family forced him to marry the girl...in short, three kids, two boys and a girl from the woman,(first boy and a twins).

I almost fainted, but pretended as if all is well, at least he still managed to tell me to let me decide to continue or not. We both continued and this month make our 6th month and he is already talking about our marriage, he tried divorcing the first wife, but get warned to let her be to make peace reign, i noticed he loves me so much and also loves his children too well too. He is traveling out soon to study for his PH.D. He wants me to get pregnant for him and do the needful with my family and declare his intentions of taking me as his second wife to his first wife and family...But at this stage i have doubting mind maybe i'm ready to go on or not..i don't feel like ruining the woman's home, and i don't feel like losing this my sweet love, he is not forcing me and he wants me to decide for myself....

Please help me dearies, abuse are allowed at least maybe it will straighten my brain..but i sincerely love him, he promised to settle me down in another state and assured me that all will be well.The issue is i'm so CONFUSED.
