There was a lady that wanted to buy parts for her range rover sport from the Uk and on whatsapp, we compared the prices and she found out that britparts and bearmach parts were cheaper in Lagos than in the Uk. She was asking me how is that possible. I almost asked her, if you ask me, na who I go ask? That is the same issue that you will find here. Years back, the air suspension was the major issue and now, it is the engine, the heart of the car that is failing, the outcome of prolonged use of low octane fuel and ungodly engine oils. And without a good engine, the brand is loosing steam and making the acquisition and ownership a burden. I know where I have gone with my Sport and the thrills I got on the highways. I was even submerged in water, river Niger on the lokoja expressway and how it waded through with ease. Those that acquired theirs since 2010 have different songs to sing but we shall overcome. Maybe we should focus more on the 2010 models, they are a beauty to behold and we shall get the parts that will keep them on the road.

Am sorry about the delay in responding. Use type tiv as indicated by the manual. Like we discussed earlier, mobil atf will work for your power steering.

Use Mobil atf. Very ideal for both uses.

Which engine and transmission oil can you recommend for 2004 Mercedes Benz ML320 tokunbo and is it advisable to run the car fan directly, I mean it should work immediately the engine start

Your car will require 0w40 and with a strong bias for Mobil 1. There are many pros and cons about the locally sold ones because of quality assurance. Please dont make your fan permanent. You will destroy the engine as it will always prevent the engine from arriving at the normal engine temperature. Sludge will take over your engine and even if you use the right oil, it is a waste becsuse the oil is supposed to protect the engine as a coolant, preventing the engine not to go above the operating temperature. Making the fan permanent is not advisable, it is a sign that you want to destroy ur investment.

You are right. Honda has their own synthetic blend 5w20 or still use magnatec castrol 5w20. A carton of syngard is ok for both cars

5w30 engine oil and there are a lot to choose from, Oando and Mobil 1 but volvo requires Castrol and I will suggest Castrol magnatec 5w30 for both cars but buy from a trusted dealer. For the transmission fluids, atfz1 is no longer being produced by Honda, so I suggest you use global synthetic fluids like Pureguard and syngard. They are suitable for both vehicles. They are dexron vi global synthetic fluid. I csn supply syngard to you.

The old gas tank is still good and can be restored. You can weld up a new one in Nigeria.

You are very correct, we are not resourceful. No time to figure out what could be done. Op, bring the tank to my place, we have a good welder that uses electric welding machine. He can do all kind of weldings. For those that says there is no recall for cars already in Nigeria, that is not true. There is a recall for any car that issued it except Toyota. A range Rover 2013 that was imported from the US in 2014 had bushing and balloon issue that same year. It was later taken to Coscharis to fix under warranty even though it was not bought from Coscharis. What models of Toyota does Elizade sells? Without venza, avalon, highlander, 4runner, v6 camry, are the other models toyota?

Just log into the frsc portal and input your license number and all your details will appear, if you dont want to take new photo, just click renew without capture. Pay online and that license automatically starts reading from that day. You will choose the center that you want to collect it. Go there and go through some protocols and you are good to go

It is because it is a premium brand. I believe it is because of guys like me and Lejeun3 and some other gurus that made Coscharis to remove their 1m registration tag before they touch your car. It is almost a par technology and luxury wide with the rolls royce. It is because we wanted to make it an all comers affair but our new members, some of them still use the eye of Prado take dey look the brand. And they use all manner of oils and spark plugs. And in the end, new engine that is not available. I once towed a benz c300, years back to A mercedes dealership and two days later, they called us to come back and take the car back to the owner. On getting to the owner's house, he refused my truck to offload his car that we must find him a workshop because the Benz Dealer asked for 750k registration before they can fix the car. I took over the job and he paid handsomely. Honda place used to tell owners of US specs of honda that they dont have the software for their type of cars, so they turn them away. Now you see them fixing Acura without hesitation because other gurus took over from them. We will get there. I heard of a company bringing in expatriates to produce 5w30, 5w20 and 0w20 and I am very excited that at long last, cars will serve their purpose here in the country as means of mobility and not drillers in our not so deep pockets.

A fresh and renewed driver license cost 6350 and 10500 for 3 years and 5 years. Any addition is for the middle man. We all complain about corruption and you folks want to process your licenses by proxy. The one that I got in Abuja in 2011, I went through the whole process, all within 2 hours. I got the temporary license that same day and I was told to return after 3 months. I returned as directed and got it a day later. I renewed the license last year online for 5 years without capture and it starts counting on the day you paid. Getting the renewal process took 30 minutes with a mock exam from the VIO and parting with a receipted 1k. Fulfill your civic responsibilities. Go and get your license all by yourself and change the shortcomings of the process like the many photocopies and moving from one office to another like I observed at Lagos old secretariat office.

The tyre is one of the substandard tyres being sold by Infinity tyres. It is a V speed rating tyre but it is not suitable for our roads. They are selling it because we do not know anything about tyres. This tyre was made in 2016. Clap for me.

it is well, I blame the Owners for the failures, they should know better not to argue with the Mech who demand proper Oils, I would like to think if you spend above N20m for your car you should be able to maintain such car to manufacturer's standard. I also think you should apply to get some sort of status or link with Land rover Uk as a service Agent so you can get regular updates from them.mayB who knows, you can get proper dealer service help from them, They are two yard from my work as we are in same Industrial Estate in North London.
PS what year of Land rover are we talking about here? c

Better, but let the oils be on ground quickly. The rate of engine failures in these cars is adding to my grey hairs. I have not seen the oil anywhere. Maybe I will beg Total to bring in their Onios 0w30 which has just been approved by Landrover. Castrol Nigeria is busy producing their oil of their future, 20w50 and are not bothered with all these new oils

Please show us the picture evidence of Quartz 9000 0w30 that is sold in Nigeria. Not the one you see on the web. Quartz 4x4 and 0w30 are all API SL.

Oils for 2016 to 2018, where do you get them? 0w30. This lack of engine oil is destroying these engines. Beware
