erico2k2:A beg show me. I am still very young to learn |
CarGuideNG:Learnt something very important here. The VIN number also determine the market for the Range, which also helps in determining where the car comes from. I know many people will take advantage of this service but is there a way to determine the actual mileage through the vin number and history? |
erico2k2:It is true but they build according to the country's specifications. Do you think the one they send to Coscharis is the same with the one sent to Russia? The one meant for Swiss is not the same spec as the one built for France. That is the difference. |
erico2k2:EU Kini? Swiss Spec of all cars is higher than the Europe and American specs. That is why you see importers fixing CH on their cars to deceive potential buyers. |
I am beginning to think that the Swiss spec of a Range Rover Sport is far higher than the US spec. And it is very expensive too.

Been a while but I have been observing the auto industry. Sad that Dangote has shifted his refinery opening date by another four years. I am beginning to suspect that it is a scam. So for the next four years, how will our Range Rovers fare on the road with our regular unleaded fuel? The battle has been tough but we are moving on to the point that I was contemplating restricting myself to the type of range rovers that I have to fix, like the non legacy cars but I cannot behave like a sinner who will abandon the group that fed him. So I will continue to fix the non legacy cars even as I am planning on moving to Europe to open a workshop there and be shuttling between two continents every month. I need the cold weather. Sun has weakened my skin and I need to go and snow-white my skin. But my advice still stands, use octane booster for your engine and use the right oil. Don't use any oil that states that it is good for diesel and gasoline engines. And use Api SN ilsac 5 oils. Happy Sallah holidays. We have 2015 Sports for sale. And we are still available for repairs when you are ready.

AutoElectNG:Good to know. I will get in touch with them and get back |
Kewtt:According to them, it is original 5w30 onios meant to resolve Peugeot recommendations and also good for other cars engines. I an still waiting for the specs and the oil too. It is not blended in the country. |
Kewtt:They have not started selling yet. It is already in the country |
Kewtt:I give you 24hr to showcase 1 on the road |
A 323F v6 with a rotary fan, the same that Vw Golf Vr6 borrowed. The best Mazda of all. Powerful and fuel efficient . It was one of the best selling cars in the 90s. Buy it and take it to Gazzuzz for repairs. For those asking for comparison with Benz and BMW, how many Vboot or 190e do you find on the road? Or is it the BMW that smokes on the road. If it smokes, use better oils and polytron and it will adjust |
kingreign:Talk true. Remove too because no Japanese car maker fit perform to the level of the Range Rover |
SHABZ:I didn't say it is OK. I outlined that if the manufacturer recommends gasoline engine Oils only, then it is not suitable. Any oil that does not have LL04 for BMW is not OK for your car. Oando is also gasoline and diesel engine and your car requires only gasoline engine oil. Continue searching..... |

Not suitable. Go for 5w20 |
SHABZ:I have gone through the data and all the sellers on jumia and autojosh. I was surprised that autojosh has no information about the oil except that it is synthetic. From their website, it is an oil that is suitable for diesel and gasoline engines, it is suitable for BMW ll01, that means it is not up to oando that has LL04 for BMW . So if your car tells you to use oils for gasoline engines only, then the oil is not suitable for your car. By the way, what brand and model is your car? |
SHABZ:Send the picture so that I can get more info. I have seen it once and I just Waka pass |
obekediamondfuto:Don't worry about the Camry for now. Let's wait for the cdi to land first. You fit sponsor a car as your team. I go arrange am. Make I look for sponsors |
ikhileomotayo:That our over pampered Acura naim you want to use? I nor dey o. Gazzzuz, let's go for Lagos to Benin. I will provide roadside assistance and TV coverage with Autoxpat. Winner will get one year extended warranty powered by Gazzzuz and Egun Mogaji . That Mercedes Benz cdi will dust the G35 any day. A car if it is manual transmission will be at 140km on gear 4. Let's wait for the Benz please so that G35 go know him mate. Even Lexus can't boast like this against the cdi. Good morning everyone |
The engine oil requirement is 5w30 and we have Oando , Total that have 5w30 but I have not tried any of them to give my opinion but use any as it is better than the mineral oils that they use in their garages. Is your a turbo? Always use the recommended oil |
emmaak2:Start with this beautiful wine colored Range |
ovoxo22:Pictures and price range pls |
For your bluetooth code in your range rover, it is 2121. |
godwinkessi:Yes, yes and we are in ikeja. 08098534267 |
onweluzo7:Great and good to know. Giving other workshops a run for their expertise. |
EcheCastrol:I went through the link and it is not reachable. Can you give us the spec sheet of the oil? And the cars it is suitable for and their year limit. We will also want to know more about the magnatec and the spec sheet too if you can oblige us |
weyreypey:After you don give hope to our team of 20w50 naija oyel, you come go hide dey use better oil. I go report you o. |

weyreypey:i hope say sludge nor dey the engine. Liqui moli is ok |
Almaiga:I have heard of their 5w30 but I dont know of the other brand. I can vouch for oando in drums even when it was 5w40, but not in their gallons. They dont have an r&d dept and even if they have is just not effective. Their quality assurance is zero. When a manufacturer recommends an oil type for their cars, we should follow the rule. For honda and Toyota, they recommend gasoline engine oils and I am convinced that they mean use only oils meant for gasoline engines and not diesel and gasoline. That is the difference no matter the ratings. Mobil 1 0w40 is now advanced full synthetic even though it is for fuel and diesel cars while the US spec of 0w40 is gasoline only. That is one of the reasons that makes our engines to smoke and wear off. |
erico2k2:Ok, bring 50k. |
erico2k2:35k, same as the original |
And the first advise is for the owners to use genuine fluids. Brake fluids are very important and every owner should be very careful when the fluid is being poured in. Not every dot 4 is dot 4 compliant with Range rovers. Get good ones from reputable dealers. Dont use the green brake oil. It will corrode the brake system and make the car a nightmare to drive. |
