It is an API SL 0w30 but I think it is a fore runner to the latest oils but this oil is not good for any car as per the API Label. There is even a Total onios 0w30 that is suitable for the 2016 to 18 Range Rovers but it is not sold locally. I wonder which oils these my Range Rovers use on their engines.

We have it on good authority that Total is introducing the Quartz 9000 5w30 Onios to cater for the teeming motorists that have been yearning for good oil. The Dexron 6 ATF will also be available in July this year. Once I get the data specs I will share, especially for the transmission fluid. They also advised motorists not to use any other oil from their stable for the service requirement of the new generation Peugeot cars except the new entrant as the older oils will destroy the engines. Pushing hard for quality oils. I am still waiting for the response from MRS lubricant Manager.

Not for lr3. Only sports that are upgraded to 2010 and 2012 can be fitted with the reverse camera using the original screen

New cars buy imported oil. Was the toks and locally used oil built in Nigeria? You were the one that frowned at owners of expensive cars that uses 4k oil to service their cars. A used 2017 corolla is sold for 13m. Should the owner use our local oil?

Bros, you keep saying 5w30. Please emphasis should be on the brand. All those naija, turkish and korean oil are 5w30. Even Malaysia has abandoned palm oil and they are now into engine oil.

So in all, we dont have any good locally made engine oil. This is the tel number of the Dg Son. 08037863835. If he is not capable, let him resign. No good oil and yet their logo is on every can even on Mrs Api sc/sd premier motor oil that kills an engine. Let everyone call him and not give him rest until something drastic is done to the engine oil sector.

So compared to the only 10w40 made by MRS and this, which one will you consider better. They are both API Sl .

As for Nurey and his MRS on the Sienna, he has stated that it is good on his cars. I await the spec sheet of the oil from the lub manager. But one thing is certain, if a company can produce an oil that is obsolete with two classifications Api sc/sd and affix the NIS logo as a quality oil, who will believe their 5w40 to be good. Just like Total advertising latest oils on their Nigerian website and when you want to buy, you get obsolete oils on ground, can that brand be trusted? That is the issue on ground, lies and deceits and everybody is happy with it. Someone is about to buy an Suv for 150m naira and I begged him to import all the Mobil 1 his car will need for 5 years or else Nigeria will destroy the car for him. The oil is the lifeblood of any car, and if it is contaminated, it is either Hiv or hepatitis B, whichever way, no remedy or cure.

If they dont have the gear oil, tell me which oil will they recommend to be used to service their cars, Total Q5000. Cfao recommends Total. The French Connection.

Let me answer with a question. Your car warranty is 3 years or 100k kilometers. If after 3 years, your mileage is 48kms, are you still under warranty? Change the oil whichever comes first no matter the extended performance you may use

What you are saying is what architects of this Tec claim, however there is nowhere in the vehicle manufacturing market where this products or services are lined up as part of maintenance procedures so to this end I would say its totally unnecessary and waste of money, Until my car manufacturers deem it fit to be INCLUDED as part of maintenance schedule!

In all the manuals of everycar, there is no where the manufacturer recommends injector service every ?? Miles. The car owner does that when the cylinders are misbehaving, when the fuel consumption is excessive, when the car is sluggish, and then when you find thick carbon in your car's exhaust, you dont neen a car manufacturer to tell you that to enjoy the car, the engine must breathe fresh air. Their carbon cleaning machine works better than mine because we tried the carbon cleaning in France and the maintenance cost is zero by attaching it to the battery instead of electricity. In all, carbon cleaning your vehicle is wonderful. It is ideal for all cars and diesel cars are the best cars to heave a sign of relief because of the dirty diesels that powers them. It wont ruin the airflow meter, infact it will save the airflow meter because 70% of our car owners dont change their air filters, they just dust it and put it back even when it is very dirty and cracked.

The supposed protector is passive and inactive and the regulator is still living in the past. That is the sad story for our vehicles in Nigeria. We battle against fuel and oil. All the trucks have packed up because of the high sulphur content in our dirty diesels. Now poor Toyota is using premium fuel and we dont have it locally except we go to Ghana and buy. Our policy makers are ignorant of the trends in the auto sector. Imagine Api Sd has been in force since 2004. This is disgraceful to Nigeria. There is no excellence in us, we have embraced mediocrity and it has become a way of life. The government that collects road tax and the insurance industry and those that certify a car to be worthy to be on the road without even seeing the car and the customs that defy the order to go to the border and secure our borders are busy harrassing motorists for documents that they should have asked at the point of entry, the other motley gang of conmen in uniform on our roads are not even bothered about the inconveniences of a car to be on a pothole filled roads, using useless oils sold by international brands that have no image to project. Ahhh, I have done my bit.

hmmmm. is it not that C240 that you have abused with SAE 50 or another car? I cant vouch for them but compared to MRS, I will take a risk

I will suggest Oando syn. At least they put vehicles approval on their gallons even though it has not been verified. And they will give you four bottles of coke per gallon, so two gallons, 8 bottles

And when you see this website and click on where to buy, tbat is the end of the story. They are full of deceit. On ground and on air, Total are cheats

No, q7000 is 15w40. I know all their products, they recently upgraded their Classic to 20w50 from Sae 40.

The Land Rover Freelander requires 10w40 API SL and I had been looking for it before I settled for Total Q7000 which is 15w40 API SL. If I had known about MRS, maybe I should have tried that but theirs is expensive. 9500 to 7k+ for Total. But I would have used MRS if I had known about it.
