im so sorry to cut your celebration short but as a matter of solid fact, he is turning 69, I am looking forward to when he turns 70 as well so don't worry we will all celebrate then, if Jesus tarries, I was so confused when I heard 70 cause I have been hearing 69, never heard of 70, p.s., He was born in 1942, Anyways, Happy 69th Birthday Daddy G.O, I pray that God will continue to increase you and you will continue to grow in humility and I pray that God will continue to grant you your birthday wish of winning more souls for Christ in Jesus. God Bless you sir, have a wonderful night and i pray tomorrow's service will be miraculous in Jesus name, Amen! |
Lack of perseverance- in every single marriage, couples will reach a point in time when they will be irritated by each other. Being aware of this fact will help a lot of couples. Do you have an example where this isnt true, then its probably cause the spouses arent being real with each other , i.e. lack of intimacy Intimacy like the OP said is not just about sex, but i believe OP refered to it as sex and romance (buyin flowers, massaging etc.), sure but thats not all, Intimacy is quite an interesting phenomena, esp the non-physical aspect of it, its a lil difficult to explain but i will try, It is one of the reason people suggest having ur spouse being ur bestfriend, it involves talking about everything and revealin all forms of feeling you have to ur spouse, r u feeling depressed?? u would let them kno, do u dislike some moves he makes in bed? ur spouse would kno, are u having feelings for someone at work( |
@fxtopedia, What did I say that makes me a non-Nigerian ![]() |
Im sorry but this is all so freakin annoying, nobody in here can tell me that they were standing by him when he illegally assigned contracts or whatever it is he did. No everyone in politics is corrupt. I dont really know the man himself but I know his son and I was there when he testified yesterday about his dad, didnt even kno his dad was famous or even in jail, i.e. u cant tell, If his dad truly did what he did, dont u think the son would be ballin and not hustlin to survive?? Again I can't tell you if his dad is truly guilty or not but all I can say is that his family really really suffered from them sendin him to jail, so I thank God, pls lets not judge if we dont know for a fact, God bless |
Hello all, Recently I had the opportunity to listen to a man of God preach about "the mark" and thought to share it with you all. First of all I want to talk about the significance of the mark: -the devil marks people for destruction -God marks people for protection We have examples from the bible: #Peter was marked for destruction but Jesus prayed for him and the mark was moved to Judas #At a point in time, the people had to mark their doors with the blood and the spirit of death would pass over Today We hear of people that have marks in their family such that the men in their families do not live beyond a certain age The women in the family do not get married until their 40s etc Since we all do not know for sure what has been done on our behalf in the past, pls let us pray that every mark that has been placed on u, ur family, business etc, will be removed in Jesus name. Remember it could even b the mark of pride, hatred, anger etc, Ladies pray that every mark that has been placed on ur hubby or future hubby (family/life) will be removed in Jesus name and replaced by the mark of Christ Guys pray that every mark that has been placed in ur wife's or future wife's family/ life will be destroyed and replaced by the mark of Christ God bless Feel free to share ur experiences, testimonies, concerns etc |

I think as an African it is a lil easier to start a business abroad. Most africans in north america dont have access to a lot of the goods that are available in africa and would be delighted to have someone bring some of those things over to sell. But my main constraint is my inability to find a business idea (4 bus. in 9ja) that: ~is original ~would generate a huge amount of demand from what I hear most of the possibilities have been exhausted ~clothes from north america/UK/Middle East ~Food from the West ~Even some of the Western culture (whose importing I do not support) so I like this idea of pouring out possible ideas, a suggestion for those looking to do business in Nigeria: If you are always complaining about a certain deficiency in Nigeria do something no matter how little to affect change in that area Ex: offer a training program for upcoming directors n' actors ~ that is of course if you have top quality training in this area |
@ogugua88: I did not say that the gurl hitting first is self-defence, i said "the gurl hits the guy blah blah blah of course it is ok, we can call it self-defence or blah blah blah" meaning of course it is ok for the guy to hit back (reply to the main question in that scenario) and we can state that the guy hitting back is an act of self-defence of course it is not self-defence if the gurl hits the guy first . |
@ OP, if a random guy does something inappropriate to a gurl then no it is obviously not ok for the man to hit her back, However if in an argument the gurl decides to him her man (I really dont understand why tho) but of course it is ok, you can call it self-defence or just lack of respect on the gals part and the man correcting the situation, If they both had respect for each other, the situation would not escalate to the point of hitting, |
@OP, I dont know what to say to you , but imma try something, you need to GET OUT OF THAT HOUSE, i dont care if your sis will say no, u say no to her too, dang tell her that you feel like you may be interfering in your imm. sis's marriage, do whatever you gotta do to GET OUT OF THAT HOUSE!!, DANG ur BLOOD SISTER?!!, Right now im thankin God I dont have a sis, Now dont go n try to do nothing to urself, cause thats just gonna cause pain for a heck load of peeps, what you need to do is put reasoning ahead of your freakin emotions and do the right thing, you can always go and stay on campus, Gurl u betta feel real guilty!!, Dang, like i said u cant sit there and cry but do something about it, and NOW!!, call ur older sis and tell her something, anything to convince her that you gotta leave that place ASAP, and i suggest you get down on ur knees and pray to God for forgiveness u need God to help you now more than ever, but u kno u eventually gonna have to tell ur sis, rite?? , but give it time and STOP frolicking with ur in laws, they ARE NOT UR HUSBAND, and NEVER WILL BE, good luck ![]() |

I spent mine in church up until 12:30am, best part was claiming the prophesies and dancing like I neva did in the yr 2010, Thanking God for taking me into the yr 2011, B4 the service we heard about the bomb blast, and even a group of pastors that were prayin but 1 dropped dead rite there, so once again I thank God b/c nothing happened to me, was even thinkin that a tiny blood clot could have formed somewhere and I may have died or something little like that, but I thank God, Happy New year y'all, |

i think the reason most people want Nollywood movies for free is cause they don't think it's a worthy investment. Afterall i watch the movie once and most of the time dont feel like watching it again or just regret watching in the 1st place, You cant return it to the store either, so watching for free on utube is the safest option, and most peeps are not willin to leave the comfort of their homes to go buy a movie, much quicker to log on to utube and watch anythin u want, |
hey, i have tried my best to read thru some of the posts and hopefully im not repeating what someone else has said. Im no expert but from what i have read so far, i think what you need to do is stop looking at things from your own perspective. You shuld ask him "how was your day", "is there something wrong", "is there something you would like me to do for you?". my point is try finding out his story and his perspective on things. Ask him about his professional life, ask him if he is sexually satisfied. Another thing is that you should NEVER go into marriage with the mind frame of changing a man. It will only lead to the deterioration of your marriage. Accept him for who he is, i.e. UNCONDITIONAL love. 0.) GOD!!!!!!! 1.) talk to him (COMMUNICATION), in fact someone said you should go clubbing with him, but ask him if he would not mind you comin @ least once. remember that not all guys are open with their feelings so u have to find an effective way to get him to open up 2.) NEVER try to CHANGE a man 3.) Have you ever heard of the 7 yr itch, someone already mentioned that, inability to tolerate each other, irritation etc, this requires: compromise, determination etc, from what i kno when a guy doesnt request for sex much he is getting it from somewhere else, i DONT want u to start fearing or whatever, thats why i said to ask him if he feels fulfilled sexual, n ask him what he wants you to change if there is a problem try to get this book "The act of marriage" by Tim LaHaye and try to get your hubby to read it as well, and please unless your hubby is unfaithful dont even consider divorce, pray to God to help you out, Remember God should be your #1 in your marriage. u can also scan thru the main topics of the book @ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Act_of_Marriage hope this helps, and am i d only who detests this concept of staying in a marriage because of your children??, ugh! |

i also agree with YorisB, Marriage is much more than a contract, it is a covenant, I have a question, why say "till death do us part" if you really do not mean it , If you really meant it then you would fight through all the different storms u face as a couple, |
@ OP, I think if the guy has lied to you b4 there is really nothing stopping him from lying to u again. See if that woman wey den they call him wife decide say she still wants her man, that is trouble, this could lead to embarrassment which im sure u would not like to experience. ur time will come but i do not think it is now, but thats my own, pls go n pray bout it and the decision is in ur hands not in ours, P.S. what makes u think he will not cheat on u and/or divorce u as well , just a rhetorical question, |

Why should a whole nation wait on its citizens abroad??, I can tell you that most NIDs know that it would only be a waste of time going back to try and do something. If the people that are currently in the nations start something, i can almost guarantee you that those abroad would join. If the NINs are sitting back, watching n enduring why shouldnt NID sit back as well??, Even if it is the gov't that starts making big changes as we are beginning to see NIDs would join in. I can tell you that rite now im part of an initiative that has risen up to fite for Nigeria and more than likely our motivation is Pres. Jonathan. We even have organizations that work together to create business partnerships with the gov't search 'NIDO' on google, Jeez , We are all the same and it is up to all of us to make a change. and no, we are not cowards we simply sort to provide our families with a better life which we could not achieve in Nigeria, I can tell you that after a certain time we will come back, mostly for retirement or just to help Nigeria. Im coming back, and lookin forward to it, |
GiveMe50 is a big movement that is starting in the West and hopefully going to become worldwide, "The ISSUE, has been identified. As Nigerians, we are not happy with the progress of our country, even at 50. We want moves made, and we want them made now. The INTIATIVE, is very simple. A campaign geared towards mobilizing Nigerians both at home and in diaspora to speak up on changes we would like to see in the near future. The GOAL, is even simpler. If not ALL of our wishes, at least Nigeria should grant us ONE over the next year. The STRATEGY, would need your help. We want to first of all raise awareness of this campaign via social networks & media. The initiative itself is universal amongst Nigerians world wide. If we can make a buzz big enough, we can push to have at least ONE of our wishes granted this coming year. We also intend to laise with other campaign movements to be a strong enough force to mobilize these changes. As a famous singer once sang "Im a movement by myself, but we're a FORCE when we're together". There is great power in Unity." This is taken from the campaign site: http://www.giveme50nigeria.com Visit the site and Join the facebook page, and lets make a difference, My one wish is, Give me more effective, reliable and trustworthy policing, i.e Give me Safety, now go ahead and make a wish, And hopefully one day it will become a reality |
I dont know if you're married now, but if so, i hope you have a happy married life, Anyways back then i would have advised you to tell your mate, and then if need be postpone the wedding and intro until you are able to settle your differences, i think if you can easily fall in love with someone else, while you are engagement to another person, then you have a problem. I mean an ordinary Joe could come to you while you married and you fall in love with them, I mean whats the point of hurtin an innocent man , |
I am for u by Lisa Tucker lovely song |
I believe that marriage is definitely not old-fashion, the western world has just made seem as though it is, I mean about 8 years ago when I was leaving nija, I had never heard of the word DIVORCE and never knew that it was possible for a marriage to be broken up, but I got to the west, my innocence was totally erased, I mean what is the point of getting married if it's almost certain that one is gonna get a divorce, In the U.S. about 1/2 of marriages will end in a divorce and 1/3 in Canada, I think one of the main causes is that people are not willing to compromise and share themselves with their spouse, readin thru parts of this discussion I can see that some people have the right idea, truth is there are a lot of causes, marriage is a lot of work and is not meant for the faint, It's kinda sad that we copying the west when we don't fully understand their reasoning, We are so much smarter than that, I think we should stick to our own beliefs, Life in the west is not as it appears, it's a lonely world out here, believe me, |

I say it's fine as long as the nephew is not blood related to his uncle's wife. And also as long as the nephew is the same age or older than the half-sister (my personal opinion), I guess as long as the half-sister is not 10 years older than the nephew it's all good. |

, but imma try something,
