Its just the media shoving it in our faces, not many people actually sit in front of a TV to waste time on this fuckèry. Oscars wey don dey lose relevance for how long now. Over the last decade people have lost interest in that shît show, you can pull up the metric to see for yourself and check how many people were still tuning in before 2022. Viewership decreased to like 20 or 15% of what it used to be back when the Oscars still got people to give a fûck.

It was Will Smith's assault on Chris Rock that got it trending again last year which made some people to speculate that the slap might have been scripted. They can enjoy whatever attention they got from his stupidity for the time being before its popularity will continue it's downward slope on the bar chart. In a few years it will join the golden globes and co that absolutely no one gives a fûck about.

Glass Onion - 2022

😒A murder mystery with holes in every corner but I pardon Ryan because according to the script the mastermind is a fuckîng idiot. Yet all the lazy writing comes to light in the end. The last 46 mins or so has everyone playing dumb so Ryan can flex CGI, I guess. If I had read the story on paper I would've call it average but as a movie, it's more than that.

Every other thing that's tapped to ensure the possibility of this movie is a great choice but the plot itself is what's lacking. Overall it's a solid B, above the average Netflix flick. The critics really hyped this one, is it because of all the political bûllshit in it? Mtcheeeeeew. Their comedic portrayals fell flat. 😒

I just hope they have a solid script because I've seen shît like this crash a hundred times. 😒😒

Do these big movie stars actually care about the quality of the story they are working with or do they just join a project because they are getting paid? Amsterdam feels like everyone who helped make this film should have just read the script and walked. Because everything else is perfect but it's just a convoluted mess of a story.

It feels like it was written by a bunch of drunk people and they all got to contribute something different to the overall picture and then someone who is mentally ill tried to weave all their contributions together to form a single story.

To say the twist at the end was predictable is an understatement. It was already revealed in the movie before its big reveal. It gets so bad at some point you feel like the author telling the story is just making shit up as they go. The final act is solid bûllshit. This movie should have never been made. How is this comedy? There is not a single scene or a line from the dialogue that will make you laugh. You will sleep while watching this nonsense for over 2hrs.

Neither the first movie or the sequel were mediocre. They were both received well by audience and critics and they both wheeled in over X3 of their total budgets. Owing to the fact that the first two movies were successful it's no surprise that they were willing to bet on Peyton to deliver a third time just like the guardians of the galaxy you mentioned. So what exactly are you saying? 🙄

I haven't felt this level of pressure to watch animations in many years 😩

How come Namor was able to impale Shuri with his spear and also destroy Wakandan equipment that were presumably made of vibranium yet Shuri easily broke the spear after being impaled.
