this issue has been over flogged, even your fellow scummies can’t deny this. Reason they panic since more clubs are reading from the scummies best selling hand book, titled

“Do it the United Way”
Written by Ferguson
Edited by Howard Webb
LMFAO......Please flog the issue one last time with me in attendance.

I have actively watched all world cups from 1994, but France 98 was the best. See stars.

-Valderramma and Asprilla from Colombia.
- Beirhoff and Klinsmann from Germany.
- Kluivert, Seedorf, Davies, Bergkamp, Stam, De Boer brothers from Netherlands.
- Brazil was lite. Ceaser Sampiao was the unsung hero.
France was laden with stars, the only surprise was Stéphane Guivarc'h starting.
Mihajlovic of Yugoslavia.
Croatia has Suker, Prosinecki,
Denmark has Sand, Laudrup and Schmeichel.
Italy was overloaded.
Romania with Hagi and co.
I just remembered this post from kimbeast a while back. The 1998 world cup was something else from defenders to midfielders to attackers

Kimbeast:
De lima Ronaldo was playing against the best defenders of all time.

Here are some of the defenders present at the 1998 World Cup.

Cafu
Roberto Carlos
Paolo Maldini
Alessandro Costacurta
Fabio Cannavaro
Alessandro Nesta
Gianluca Pessotto
Bixente lizarazu
Marcel Desailly
Lilian Thuram
Laurent Blanc
Carlos Gamarra
Fernando Hierro
Miguel Nadal
Jaap Stam
Frank de boer
Jurgen Kohler
A very old Lothar Matthaus
Sinisa Mijhalovic
Ivan Cordoba
Sol Campbell
Tony Adams
Roberto Ayala
Javier zanetti

Lol back then intentionally elbowing a striker in the face was a perfectly valid defensive play rather than a penalty and red card. Some of all these ajebutter strikers and players of today won't be able to cope.

I know he was immense in 2002 but What if I told you he was better in 98 than 02?
Ronaldo had a great World Cup 98 and was the best player I still believe if he didn't had that seizure Brazil would have won , but it was not entirely his World Cup; Rivaldo was immense, as were the french team, Vieiri, Luis Hernandez, Salas, Suker, Bergkamp and Frank De Boer, Laudrup brothers, etc... This was a World Cup where almost every team brought in something to the table.

- Neuer did not dominate 2014. He might be the best Keeper but did not dominate that world cup.

- Likewise Buffon in 2006, though he conceded 2 goals(zaccardo own goal vs USA and Zidane penalty in the final), and he was phenomenal, but dominate? No. That world cup belongs to Zidane, and Cannavaro.

- 1994 world cup Baresi was the best defender and among the best players overall in that tournament. But Romario and the Holy Pony tail Baggio were the dominant figures in that tournament.
It's not a comparism between those keepers/Defenders and the players you mentioned. Baresi was the best defender in that tournament likewise Buffon in 2006 and Neuer in 2014. Dominate respective of their positions.

Let me throw this out there. We all can name several Attack minded players that dominated a tournament or another. Now what If I asked you to name a Defender or a Goalkeeper that either dominated a Tournament or came closest to doing so, who would you pick? One of each preferably.
Neuer at 2014 World Cup and Buffon at 2006 World Cup.
Defenders - Cannavaro in 2006 World Cup, Baresi in 1994 World Cup and Nesta in 2003 Champions League.

The man was finished by 27 at the latest.
The last season at Barca and the whole Milan experience was executed by the carcass of Ronaldinho.

Despite being an all time great he has to be in the running for greatest waste of talent ever.
Alcohol, Junk food, Late night partying will do that to you.
Just to add to that I think his mentality became to just have fun and lost that competitive edge to his game.

If you look at Romário, who also liked women and booze and was known to be the first to arrive the training ground because he came directly from the night clubs, he hired a personal trainer and a nutritionist in order to keep himself fit while doing exercises and also he had a very competitive personality. Ronaldinho was exactly the opposite. It's laughable that considering all that he won both individual and collectively he is still considered a wasted talent. That says alot.

I have this random question to ask. Anyone interested give and answer with your reason. What in your opinion is the greatest individual performance in an entire Cup tournament( World cup, Champions league, Euros) etc.
Maradonna 1986 World cup.

This has to be the greatest individual performance by a player in a tournament. His 5goals and 5assists don't even tell the whole story.

What is the style of our current coach and how will Harry Kane fit into it?
LMFAO.....I asked you a question and instead of answering you twisted it to ask me the exact same thing lol. Guy Harry Kane will fit into each and any style we currently operate. He works hard, Can drop into midfield, create for others as well, play as a target man + his hold up play is superb and most importantly can bang in lots of goals as well. He is a complete striker by all proportion.

since Bruno Fernandes' first game against Wolves in January, United have scored 35 times in 17 games all competitions. approx. +2.06 goals per game all without last season's top scorer and assist leader in Pogba, and without this season's top scorer in Rashford; but I'm being asked me where the goal scorers are.
LMFAO.....I asked you just two questions and you didn't provide an answer so I will ask again.

1) if it was to be Lewandoski United was going for will you say he is not needed or you only have a problem with the Harry Kane?

2)Can you list those in our current team that are guaranteed goal scorers?

We need to stop buying players because they are available. Sanchez’s purchase should have taught us enough lessons.

That amount they are quoting is too much. If Kane is going for a bit half of that, we won't be having this discussion. Sanchez is still on 350k+ weekly
If his argument was the price being quoted then I have no disagreement about it. It's the part of United does not need Kane that I am trying to figure out. That's why I am asking him if the striker was lewandoski will he say we don't need him and should stick with Martial.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by spillo1: 8:04pm On Apr 13, 2020

the topic isn't about Lewandowski. United don't need Kane.
he's going to score, of course, yet I don't think he's an essential. it's a commodity United can afford to overlook and still be on track.
In case you didn't notice, there are goals in the team and the missing component has been creativity. we have it on the left, we have it through the middle, we have it from deep if Pogba stays. we just need to find it on the right as well and we wouldn't require a 25-goal CF to have success.
The topic is about United going for a top striker and you saying you don't think United need a top striker which is why I am asking if it was to be Lewandoski United was going for will you say he is not needed as well and Who are those in our current team that are guaranteed goal scorers?

Evra vs Lennon was always a sight to behold. Lennon was always giving him nightmares.
LMFAO.......I don't know what it was with Lennon but
Evra had a habbit of making him look like Prime Maradonna. Lennon just had his number for reasons I cant explain. That was Evra only weakness and his poor crossing. Apart from that he was always dropping 9/10 weak in and weak out.

True. As a teenager, I thought he was Ballon d'or material.
Back in 2003/2004 Rooney was even considered the more talented between him and Ronaldo. If you were to pick the one who would go on to win numerous balon dors and dominate world football it will be Rooney. He was miles ahead of Ron. He didn't reach his full potential.

Henry would have definitely shattered the record if he had started his career and remained in England until his late thirties even Aguero as well. Henry came to England at 22. Just look at their goals and compare you will see they have similar trajectory.

Henry's Arsenal PL career 1999/00- 2006/07, Age 22-29, 254 appearances. 174 goals,

Shearer 1992/93- 1999/00, Age 22-29, 253 appearances, 176 goals,

Aguero 2011/12-2018/19, Age 23-30, 239 appearances 164 goals.
If I remember correctly Rooney had 160+ league goals at 26yrs old. What a wasted potential .

Kaka can play anywhere in that Forward position, ...so you can call him anyone.

But 80% of the Matches he played at Ac Milan was at Left wing in a 4-4-2 / Left Wing Forward in a 4-3-3/ SS in a 4-3-2-1.

He only played at that AM midfield at Madrid 2009/2010, before Ozil took the position the following season.

At Brazil, he played LWF
