Young and Rojo should have been tighter to their men.
There are two important aspects of the team that need to be addressed in January; a target man in attack is important. Somebody that can trouble defenders in the air and hold up play really well, and a target man in midfield beside Pogba.
When the team is under pressure, a leeway like those can ease the defense and even switch to counter attack rapidly.

Liverpool defenders and midfielders had no trouble winning clearances upfield and the knowledge that they must win the aerial challenge kept their other players firmly planted in our half, as well as killed any confidence of our midfielders attempting to join attack cuz they knew their forward had no hope of winning the cleared ball.
