How many times will you be told not all players are motivated by money. That's the only point you shout about money, endorsement and more money. Some players will rather start at club were dey are guaranteed less salary but starting spots than ride a bench at a bigger club. AWB ain't bought to score goals or spray passes. No. He's to hold the right side of the defence and guard it with all what he has. Cover up for any lapses with his fellow defenders. Any other things are added advantage and should be welcomed.

Primarily, the work of a striker is to score goals at any given avenue. Whatever the name you've given the striker is just peripheral to his Numero uno duty... Score goals!


Other things will gel with time. The place of joining the midfield is just by the way for strikers. Let the midfielders do that. But if it calls for it, occasionally, the striker can join the midfield and do those things but his job is get us goals.

Why are people here criticising wan Biasaka that he is only good defensively and not in attack? is his main job not to defend? Lacazette offers more than scoring goals which can't be said of Auba. Do u have facts to backup ur claim of Lacazette being a better striker?

I have told you already Auba is just a poacher. If you like your strikers for just goals you take Auba,Icardi,cavani etc If you want your strikers to contribute in your team build up plays you go with lacazette, firmino,benzema etc. Even Kane currently is getting good at coming into the midfield.

Someone gave his opinion that he would prefer Auba to Firmino in that no 9 position, but u rushed to call Aubameyang too much of a poacher. U even went ahead to say that Lacazette is a better striker than Aubameyang.
PS: No one dragged Firmino for not banging goals. He is one of the best in the world at what he does, but not every team would prefer such strikers, esp teams that their wide players does not guarantee goals. That has been my point from the beginning.

Even as a false 9 whose duty is to create and exploit space he has banged in 45goals the past 2 and quarter season at Liverpool.
