However, i think Nigeria should adopt a system where all the sates are grouped into 6 provinces and 6 vice presidents emerge from the each province. So each Vice President will have ministerial portfolios and also be administrative head of each province, with state governors in the province reporting to him.

In case the president dies or incapacitated, the 6 vice presidents simply vote for one of them to be the acting president.

Also, the real ancient traditional title holders should be automatically be given the Senator roles. And equal numbers should come from every state. They rotate Senate Presidency every year province by province regardless of who or which party is at the helms of the affair of the country. They must not be partisan. Somewhat similar to House of Lords in other climes.

House of Reps are where the politicians should be and should maintain the status quo.

Similar structure can either happen in each state, province or both.

This has been my hypothesis since secondary school and i still believe strongly in it.

Education in Nigeria is heavily subsidized. Nigeria cannot train you almost free of charge and then you run away to a foreign country when Nigeria lacks sufficient manpower in your field of endeavor. The practice is worse than being unpatriotic. It is wickedness.

Medical doctors spend less than a million naira in tuition in Federal universities to complete their program. In fact, during the NYSC program, most medical students make back the money they spent on their tuition.


Many medical doctors in the foreign countries you wickedly dump Nigeria for spend the first two years of their career paying back student loans. Their salary is high because of the high cost of living in their country which is why they pay an average of 100,000 USD for medical education ( tuition+ others fees).

The government doesn't intend to stop you from migrating. No, they'll be stupid to do that because it's against the tenets of FHRs .
The FG is simply telling you, if Nigeria is the worst country on Earth, go to Canada, US or UK and spend 50,000 USD to acquire medical training and then work for them. If you want to benefit from our subsidy then you must compulsorily serve us for a few couple of years.

Nigerian politicians should never go on medical tourism if we chunk out these many doctors each year from our medical schools. The worst is a president going for medical treatment overseas. What does that connote? What kind of leadership is that?

If leaders can go overseas for treatment to have better lives, so can any citizen leave the country to seek better life. If we all want better lives, then we should all start doing the right thing by making things work in the country first.

The journalists could have tried harder by listing the names of people running AMCON.
