Veteran rapper and activist, Micheal Ugochukwu a.k.a Ruggedman says pop star, 2face doesn’t like to hear him crown him (2face) as his number one fan.

What has your experience been like as a plus-size lady in Nigeria?

It’s crazy being a plus size lady in Nigeria. You face lots of body shaming and tongue lashing from hypocrites who prefer to be fans of fat women from other parts of the world .You can imagine a Nigerian man getting married to a very fat white lady and even flaunting. However, that same person finds it difficult to get married to a fat lady in Nigeria. As a result of that, I turned down lots of movie roles and took a bow for a while because I could not deal with that madness. Also, a guy who was meant to get married to me said his sister told him not to get married to me because I might get fatter my first child. I have lost jobs too.

Do plus size women get more attention from men?
Of course we get more attention from men. On several occasions I have experienced situations where I stepped into a place and I literally stole the show. I have also experienced where a guy is with his slim girlfriend end up staring at me. Its embarrassing for her you know . Men stare at our massive boobs and bum.

Popular media personality and actress, Toke Makinwa has recounted the challenges she faced in the month of October.

Makinwa said she thought by this time of the year she would be pregnant with her first baby.

In a lengthy post shared via her Instagram page on Monday, November 2, 2020, the media personality reflected on all she experienced.
“The month of October was not the best I’ve felt, I don’t just want to post glam pictures cos I do love the glam life but that’s not all there is to me. I have been given this platform to share, to rise, to fall, to bare it all so you all know that there’s nothing like picture perfect, we are all just trying to figure life out,” she wrote.

“I was stressed emotionally, exhausted spiritually, working round the clock feeling empty cos I had so many expectations and it seemed like the devil heard be brag so loud about how good God has been to me, he decided to test my mind.”
“Falling sick after God told me the plague in the land will not visit my family, oh I had expectations that this time November 2020 I will be posting baby on the way pictures but my belly is still flat, and my waist is still disappearing ���. The only thing I had going for me was work. Losing friends to betrayal and my anxiety on an all-time high, I couldn’t travel cos my workload kept piling and I just wasn’t feeling great.”
“I stopped praying cos I was tired of the same prayer points and as my birthday drew closer I felt even more anxious. Yesterday I watched a sermon by @sarahjakesroberts titled “Girl get up” and I broke down really bad, I was carrying it all in, smiling for the world but the weight of all my emotions was on override and I let it all out.”

Following the revelation made on Friday by former TVC journalist, Sandra Eze, that a call from Bourdillon led to her sack, the host of the show, Morayo has reacted.

Debunking the claims made by Eze, Brown said she fired because she walked out on the show while it was ongoing.
“It was unethical, it was unprofessional.Our viewer didn’t find it right at the time.We got a lot of calls from every quarters questioning why she walked out on set”

Speaking further, she noted that no call from Bourdillon led to Sandra’s sack.
Morayo said via her Instagram video: ”She is right the management said it was ground for dismissal based on the company’s position. Under no circumstance did we get a call from political quarters or anywhere saying we should let Sandra go.That is wrong. Who owns TVC is not for me to say.Everybody knows who owns TVC. People always try to use that to put us under undue pressure.We are seven years in this game, nobody can scare us about getting calls from somewhere anymore” she said.
