Of course we get more attention from men. On several occasions I have experienced situations where I stepped into a place and I literally stole the show. Popular media personality and actress, Toke Makinwa has recounted the challenges she faced in the month of October.

Makinwa said she thought by this time of the year she would be pregnant with her first baby.

My name is Mojisola Mary Adebanjo. I am a model, an interior decorator and actress. I was born and brought up in Lagos. I am from Ogun State. I am the last child in a family of 8.
I am a graduate of Esep Le Berger Universite Benin Republic (The Shepherd University). I will describe myself as loving, caring, fun to be with, hardworking and a people person. But I can also be the opposite of my finest characters if they are taken advantage of or being treated with disrespect.
Can you cope with a habitual liar in a relationship?

No I can’t. I know everyone lies and no one is perfect, but I like when I’m being told the truth no matter the situation.

Is being sexy an advantage in Nollywood?

Yes it is. I like being sexy. As a woman, you have to be sexy, It's to your advantage. ‘Slay it’ and stay sexy.

You have been doing comedy for some time, how did it all start?

It all started five years ago. Abula inspired me to start. He thought me how to use the camera, and an editing software called premiere pro. He used to make comedy visual effects skits then so I got interested too and glory be to Almighty Allah everything is going smoothly.

How were you able to build such a huge following on social media?

Allahmdulilah it’s only God and consistency that made it happen. You just have to know what your fans want, then delivery all the time.

Have you ever considered closing your Instagram page?
Years back, I thought of it at some point. When I thought of how long it will take me to get here.

Can you share the weird experiences you have had online?
One weird experience I have had online is that there are lots of parody accounts with my name, they are just too much.

Film critic and producer, Charles Novia has recounted how Omotola Jalade Ekeinde was scared to kiss on the set of a movie in her early days in Nollywood.
Novia made this known on Wednesday night when the film makers WhatsApp group called, Filmic celebrated Omotola amidst glowing tributes as she marked her 25 years in the film industry.

In his words: ”That was in 1995, if I remember correctly. Omotola was bullied by Christine verbally as she went to a corner sobbing. I’m trying to remember what happened that day.I was given the lead character while you were given the female lead. The award winning Nollywood hunk noted that he was once asked to withdraw in the university as a result of poor academic performance which was triggered by the absence of his father.

Speaking in an Instagram Live chat with popular rapper, Bouqui, he said:” I was in my coming of age years when my father left the family. It was a time when I felt I needed a male influence the most. I had just gotten into the University of Lagos. I was pretty young, I was 16 and I was studying Chemical Engineering.
“We share this same name and my identity was strongly tied to that of my father. It was so tied to my father that I felt broken hearted. Everything in my life shut down. It is now that I can look back and call it depression. I had no words for it, I was just lethargic, didn’t care about anything .I couldn’t study, I had a mental block for years”.

I can’t even marry someone like Dangote because he is a busy type, he might not be with with me physically. Not every problems money can solve, sometimes you just need the man’s presence. I am not saying I don’t need money, a man that must marry me must be okay in his only little way, he should be able to cater for his family, not the one that will become a burden on me. Even if he doesn’t have the millions yet, I will still go with him if he is my choice”.
