GreyLaw: My brother don't use emotions to interpret this section of the constitution. Hillary Clinton won more votes than Trump but Trump became president due to the higher electoral college voted.
The FCT is not a state. They don't have a governor. They don't have a house of assembly. It is akin to the US electoral college votes. When you use "and" it means additional to. It is different from "including". Moreover the supreme Court already explained this same matter in 2007/2008 in the case between Buhari and Yaradua. And they said you must get at least 25% of the votes cast in the FCT.
APC made a mistake. They probably forgot to fight hard in the FCT. I don't know how they made such a mistake. You are correct. APC could have easily rigged FCT to get the required 25%. Why didn't they do so? That's because they focused their machinery in rigging the states they believed they didn't have the majority advantage. Like Rivers, Kano, Benue, Imo, etc. Incidentally and interestingly, in those states where they thought they have some advantage, they lost. Eg Lagos, Osun, Kaduna, Borno, Katsina, etc. Meaning that where they won they rigged, and where they didn't win was where they didn't rig much, at least to a conclusive extent. APC are crooks. |

This 'Bola' had to impersonate her with help from her mother 'Iyaloja' so that the family effort of sending a child abroad will not be wasted. Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has denied working against the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, describing him as ungrateful.
Speaking during a media chat on Wednesday in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, the Governor stated that it is unfortunate that Peter Obi claimed he stood against him during last month’s presidential election.
While denying asking Rivers people to vote for the President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Wike denied rigging the election to favour his preferred candidates at the Presidential, National Assembly, governorship and House of Assembly elections.
He stressed that his goal was for the president to come from the South, adding that he never campaigned against Peter Obi.
Wike said: “I never told Rivers people to vote for Bola Ahmed Tinubu but for the Unity of Nigeria. As far as Rivers State is concerned, it was a power shift to the South. And there are two candidates from the South, Tinubu and Peter Obi of the Labour Party, so If the majority of Rivers People decided to vote for Tinubu and others for Peter Obi, that tells you the decision of the citizens.
“How can you talk about me rigging the election? I don’t work as ad-hoc staff for Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, so I am not in the place to rig elections for anybody. When you have INEC’s materials, you can talk about rigging.
“But I take exemption to Peter Obi’s comment that I came out against him, people are not being sincere and appreciative. In 2019, I was among the people who chose Peter Obi for Atiku Abubakar.
“I was faulted for the choice, people like Ike Ekweremadu and my friend, the Governor of Ebonyi State and Pius Ayim. Every blame was on me; that why would I be the one to choose for the South East?
“Did he come out to say I supported him?
“I told Nigerians I will support a South candidate in the Presidential Election.
“When Peter Obi says I was against him, it is unfortunate because nobody ever told me that I campaigned against him. It is incorrect to say I was against him.
“I told my people to support a southern candidate, which they did; the first position in Rivers State during the poll was a south candidate, same with the second position.” Wike said it is sweet.

lhordspy: This is a copy of letter by the US consulate on 4th Feb. 2003 to then Inspector general of Police, Tafa Balogun stating that there was nothing in the records of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) indicating that Tinubu (who was Governor of Lagos state as at then ) had, at any time in the past, been arrested or wanted for crime in the US. The letter signed by the Legal Attache in the Consulate, Michael H. Bonner.
The news was reported here back in 2003.: https://allafrica.com/stories/200302110527.html That is a letter from a consulate and not through a subpoena. A subpoena will come as a sworn affidavit. Again, criminal arrest does not mean no criminal charges. A person can be charged to court without arrest. So that's technical from the consulate. Finally, there's evidence of criminal forfeiture of 460k dollars as fine from profits from narcotics dealings. You can give your evidence to Tinubu's lawyers to assist them. NL is not a court. |
Politics › Re: Atiku Abubakar Files Petition To Challenge Tinubu's Electoral Victory by Spy360(m): 4:11am On Mar 22, 2023 |
akingangan: Tinubu the master strategist will now get in the mud with Atiku and Peter Obi.
Watch as Peter Obi's scam of investing government money in personal business is officially dealt with.
Watch as Atiku's appropriating Nigeria's assets is brought forward.
Tinubu was just an accountant World leaders that admitted to use of drugs include Obama, Bush, Boris Johnson and many more
Tinubu is such a genius. He could have given countless responses when the hateful campaign of Peter Obi kept using the drug case to campaign and discredit Tinubu. He literally gave them the silent treatment such as is advised when a court case is going on to avoid self-implicating.
Defense 1. He was not convicted 2. He was not found to deal drugs, he was an accountant that was likely paid with drug money from a client 3. You cannot stand trial for the same offense in two courts in different countries. 4. Out of Jurisdiction - If a crime was committed it was not in Nigeria and no court had prosecuted him for that in Nigeria
Now Tinubu himself said he was a security doorman in Chicago while he was a student at Chicago State University. It is very likely that he had acquaintances that would have used his service. This was Chicago in the 70s and 80s!
Redemption After that, he worked as Accountant at Deloitte the number one accounting firm in the world, He has been a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, He has been Governor of Lagos state He has been Freedom Fighter who fought the military to bring democracy to Nigeria
Tinubu's house was blown up by the military and that is the reason he does not have old pictures. He was penniless at some point and granted asylum to the UK with a Visa on a piece of paper(Not a Passport)
For Peter Obi to have added the drug case to the presidential petition is just spiteful.
Peter Obi has cases to answer about 1. The people that were killed in his state whose bodies were dumped in Ezu River while he was governor which led to Endsars (Ironically Endsars supporters were brainwashed to become his supporter as obidient movement)
2. The money he took from Anambra and invested in his private business making beer 3. The Pandora paper which shows his tax evasion as a sitting governor hiding money in Panama You are intelligent. Go and join Tinubu defense team. NL is not court |

N3TRAL: The law does not tell INEC to set out guidelines. It states in section 60(5), that the results will be transmitted in a manner prescribed by INEC. That is an administrative power. As long as the law is silent about transmission, manual transmission is not a substantial irregularity.
The guideline is an administrative guide by the INEC chairman to guide his staff and political parties. Just like he promised on TV or wherever, he can change it. It his discretion. According to section 135 of the ACT, it isn't enough to cancel the results of the election. The electoral guideline stipulated by INEC becomes law once the elections has taken place. If it will not be adhered to, then there should be a reelection. The first screenshot is a section of the electoral guideline

No 2; Tinubu does not have any certificate forgery issue and I am willing to bet my small change on this. He is a confirmed Alumni of CSU. I will however like to confirm of this is a reference to his earlier issue when he was governor of lagos(if so, the crime he committed was perjury which doesn't disqualify him).
No 3. Ex-convicts can contest for any political position in Nigeria. There are 3 exceptions below in the pics.
You can independently confirm the above I personally do not think any case based on what I listed would stand the chance. I listed them because they were the issues raised. I think perjury can disqualify a candidate. |
