Nelson's performance yesterday is worthy of note. The guy has really improved even in his goal scoring.
His goal yesterday suggests he is really hungry for stardom |

Buyer: What about your own yams?
Yam Seller 1: Thank you very much for that question. I believe in consumption to production. I bought my yams from China because Chinese are excellent farmers.
In 2001, Chinese farmers planted and sold 500m tons of yams to Africa, and Nigerians are the highest consumers.
In 2010, Indonesia bought also from China, but now planting their own yams. Today they are 3rd largest Exporter of Yams in the world.
Nigeria must copy China, Northern Region is blessed with vast arable lands. We must invest on it and stop importation.
My yam is from China, but I will plant yams and help farmers in the North to grow, moving our yams plantation from consumption to production.

Yam seller 2: Kindly buy from me. I get my yams from best farmers in the North. Organic manures were used as fertiliser, hence its so safe for consumption.
You can stock it in much quantity, I guarantee you, it won't spoil based on my experience and track records in stored foods Management.
Buyer: What about your competitor's yams, anything to say about them?

izzou: I am not saying we are doing well. Let's even look at the ones we are compared with
Healtcare
Lagos has approx 3000 health care centres, for a population of 15,880,000. Thats about 5,200 persons to 1 hospital
Zimbabwe (Not Harare) has 300 hospitals. If i divide this with the population of Harare (2,000,000), It gives 6,000 persons to 1 hospital
So why is Harare ranked higher than Lagos in healthcare?
I am not saying we are doing well, or our polices are good. But that list has a lot of injustice on it First of all I am not all about whether Lagos is the worst or not. My major concern is that Lagos being the most populated city in Nigeria is on that list at all. Using Harare, Zimbabwe as a comparison for Lagos, Nigeria already tells the story. |

Nostradamus1: Exactly. Lagos is the worst City in the World. Is Aba a town suddenly? Is Aba better than Lagos?
Sometimes,I wonder what is wrong with some of this foreign media. Lagos is not the worst in Nigeria not to talk of World.
For the person who continues insisting that Lagos is bad enough, I think you are making a mistake of Generalization. Lagos City not Lagos State is the number one city in Africa(Economy, Environmental,GDP,Life expectancy,Tourism).Just like Enugu City is different from Enugu state
NB:Iyana Ipaja is not in the Lagos City Enclave. The biggest city of each country was used as the metrics in the survey analysis. Lagos was used the same way Algiers was used in Algeria. Algiers isn't the worst city per se in Algeria. Those cities represent the differential breakdown of the effectiveness of government policies on the living conditions of people around the world. It's so simple to observe. |

izzou: I am not bothered if Lagos made the list.
My concern is that if a Nigerian feels Lagos is the Worst City because it made the list, what about Aba, Ilorin or Sokoto? Are they better than Lagos?
Do you understand my point? I get your point and you are right in your assertion as Lagos is not the worst city in Nigeria. But you need to get the context of the report. The report was not a comprehensive assessment of every city in the world. The selected cities were the biggest cities in each country where the largest population reside. One city per country. The importance of such report is that it provides a representative sample of how effective government policies have been in terms of infrastructural development, economic balance of wealth, climate, crime control and general well-being. What it means is that Lagos as a microcosm of the entire country shows that our government failed compared to other governments in Africa. Their policies failed. Very poor. |

They could have simply said most polluted city, and maybe it would make more sense.
But tagging it "Worst city" means they have checked environmentally, economically, and other factors, to come up with the WORST
Imagine Douala, being rated better than Lagos. Douala wey my guy migrate, run come back Like I said in some of the metrics pollution is given much attention. For example One can say New York is worse than Amsterdam. Though New York beats Amsterdam in terms of infrastructure and all, but the level of pollution may carry far heavier sanctions that overwhelms the others. |

Even at that, despite the level of exposure to infrastructural development, factors like environmental pollution can make Lagos worse than a city like Birnin Kebbi for example. Gradings most times give high precedence to conducive environment than even social amenities or presence of infrastructure like skyscrapers or bridges. |

diggz: Na this one dey bust my head pass. Everyone knows and agree that Atiku is corrupt. Everyone is fully aware that Obi was once Atiku running mate. Everyone have seen Obi refer to Atiku as a friend, brother and mentor. Burr burr Obi a PDP card carrying member is the new Saint/messiah, and Labour Party is a new party that's free of corruption and corrupt individuals. You are the only one that is thinking this way. Nobody has called Peter Obi is saint. You are opposing a view no one claims to hold. The point has always been that he is the best option available. While LP having been down all these while needs fear no fall. LP is the new comer and away from the traditional corrupt parties. Our concern is to make sure they don't join the band wagon. Personally I have decided to hold no affiliation to any party in particular but to hold individuals accountable. So even if Peter joins APC tomorrow he would still be the preferred choice. I have used Osinbajo as an example, had he been in the race he would be highly considered. I had sincerely wished this presidential election would be Peter Obi vs Yemi Osinbajo. My joy and hopes for a new Nigeria would have known no bounds. But behold we are left with defending Peter Obi alone. By the way, how's my girl? She deserves a better future. |

He lost and is feeling bitter about the whole thing. That said, Balogun has proven that he can be a reliable backup after his performances on loan. He has 8goals I think and leading the lines for his loan club. Nketiah also is there. We also have Martinelli. If we must buy another striker he has to be top notch- and confirmed. Not a 'lets watch and see' futuristic striker. |

I will prefer we get a striker and a midfielder. If Pepe leaves on permanent basis, then maybe we should get an additional winger to replace him. The strongest rumours I am hearing is that Arsenal wants to pay 40m for Modryk of Ukraine S. Donestk. Since we are having ESr back too, Martinelli will become a CF to compete with Nketiah. He had a company formed ( after the promoter of the company sold the idea to him ) , made the state government award the contract of tax consultancy to the firm , nominated different people at different times to hold majority shares of the firm on his behalf (including his cousin the immediate past governor of Osun state ) , had the firm transform from a limited liability company to a partnership and then push the promoter of the firm out which led to that one suing him ( All of this according to court documents).

We know of his indictment in the Pandora paper scandals Your first accusation is incorrect. You know you twisted the narrative to suit your claim.
