SupremeCourt: Your own long stories 200 to 500 words each in many different comments disputing claims of LT.GEN and Xbee007 are not arguments abi? Only my own posting of facts quoted from published news data and info is to be labelled argument.
Pot calling kettle black. Keep deceiving yourself after you spoiled market for Denel, you now tell lies to clean it up because you are Denel employee needing to save your job. No they are not arguments. It's simply supplying information, with no exaggeration. Unlike you that says: " DENEL Mokopa has 93% chance of missing very easy target in broad day light"That is a direct quote from you. Made up rubb1sh with no proof, to satisfy your lifelong lack of attention. Anyways, I've entertained you enough & let me stop derailment. Cheers |

MikeCZA: Would have replaced the Milan if someone didn't accept "money for kooldrink".
Remember the IPLS didn't exist in the late 90s and early 00s. When Denel investigated a portable Mokopa system, weight was an issue. Just one of the obstacles. |

MikeCZA: Man portable Mokopa.
Promised more than the expensive Milan. Ingwe - daily bread & butter Man portable Mokopa - expensive croissant Not worth having a portable Mokopa in my opinion. More expense to achieve a similar result. |

SupremeCourt: Stop lying bro, you started this argument with @Xbee007 and you argued hot like pepper repeatedly !
Many people on this thread start fire, blow it hot, saying its okay, but when SupremeCourt join the talk you tell lies that he brought argument, derailment, insult, false data, blah blah blah. See how you started the original fight since December 28 with @Xbee007 :
See how people lie so much on this thread and devalue it.
I dont make things up sir. Mokopa missile missed target is news published in South Africa, not me saying it. APKWS 93% kill rate was said by BAE Plc not me. You find these truths painful brah.
If you want me to show mercy and save Denel, tell everybody to stop replying my APKWS comments.
Happy new year bro That is not an argument. That is a simple statement/comment. I didnt insult him in any way. Problem with you is that you think this forum is an African battlefield where everyone comes here to defend their country's honour. You are living in a fantasy land. Snap out of it. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: African Militaries/ Security Services Strictly Photos Only And Videos Thread by ssaengine: 3:48pm On Jan 01, 2018 |
SupremeCourt: [s] I decided to stop comments on Mokopa some hours ago because @tdayof asked me to avoid it in new year, but now you South Africans have started to call shame on my comments again and restart issues.
I have no obsession with South Africa, you should check your obsessions with Nigeria especially ARA MRAP and Tucano APKWS that you work hard to make look ordinary you @Saengine started this whole argument on APKWS that led to Mokopa story, so blame yourself o!
Keep defending Denel because you are Denel employee, its not my business, I dont work there.
If you had been smart enough and told Patches to stop arguing APKWS & Mokopa with me instead of always insisting on having the last word, I would not have had to reply Patches this New year. For @tdayof's sake I will end the matter here, but if another South African challenges me again, it means you want me to reply, and I will![/s] There was never an argument between me & anyone. My first reply was to LTGEN, he never responded with anger. Rest of my comments are purely that...comments, no argument. No one asked you not to comment. Almost everyone on the thread is just saying stop adding made-up nonsense. "Algeria would not have purchased Mokopa if they attended that missile test".... stuff like that is completely made up by you. It's been years now, your antics here got old long ago....South Africans, Nigerians & others agree on that. Whether I reply or not your stup1dity will continue regardless, so it's irrelevant. Happy New Year. |

SupremeCourt: It was not a test o, Mokopa had been certified and exported to Algeria before that demo. It was another export sale effort that failed. If Algeria had requested such demo they will never buy Mokopa waste money. I mean no harm, but truth is bitter.
Read my comment again carefully, I said "Mission failure", that demo Mokopa strike was failed mission for that objective. You be Denel engineer to confirm they solved Mokopa's chronic poor precision problems? I stated facts of published event, but you reply with imagined assumption, LOL bro! Courts dont over-rule real events with imagination now, haba! Nigerian Egyptian marshals generals saw Mokopa demo strike failure and ran back home to order Russian precision guided missiles immediately. If na you nko, o ni sare escape like Ferrari sport car abi? I wonder what your obsession with South Africa bashing comes from. New year and you're keeping up the same cr.ap. I suspect your visa was denied now you have made it your mission to hate. Algeria bought Mokopa missiles from only reading PDF specifications document? They never had live demonstrations? You see the type of non.sense you post here? Shame. |

frumentius: Yep. Exactly the same as Afghanistan. Hell, the GPO document everyone is quoting is word for word what it said about the sale to Afghanistan, the Air Tractor sale to Kenya, etc, etc.
Me, I'm pleased NAF is getting the Tucano. I'm not sure about the price though. Yep. Its a good aircraft. I won't comment on price to avoid any possible derailment |
Foreign Affairs › Re: African Militaries/ Security Services Strictly Photos Only And Videos Thread by ssaengine: 3:25pm On Dec 28, 2017 |
Xbee007: You are just stating a known fact which no one is disputing. The original comment "getting classified technology" was worth correcting. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: African Militaries/ Security Services Strictly Photos Only And Videos Thread by ssaengine: 2:07pm On Dec 28, 2017 |
Xbee007: You just wouldn't let this go except you win the argument . No one said they will reveal the technicalities of the munitions to us. I don't even think they will allow NAF to produce basic spare parts of the aircraft. I meant CLASSIFIED in the sense that they definitely won't be happy to see Nigerians probing the workings of their intellectual property behind their back. Neither will they be happy to see Nigerian government supplying such weapons to third party without their approval. We all saw how US government blocked the sale of Tucano from Brazilian government 2 NG. Asking for blueprints is akin to walking into Coca Cola headquarter and asking for the unique recipe just because we have dozens of Coca cola factories in Nigeria. The original comment I replied to was along the lines of "we're getting guided missiles & classified technology". My point is Nigeria is getting nothing more than any other Tucano customer has received. It's a straight arms deal. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: African Militaries/ Security Services Strictly Photos Only And Videos Thread by ssaengine: 1:10pm On Dec 28, 2017 |
Xbee007: Let's be realistic. Just because it was developed 4 decades ago and available to over 20 countries doesn't mean it can't be classified as CLASSIFIED. There will always be an area where countries will have strategic and technological advantages over one another. More so, American's Department of Defense clearly stated in its letter to Senate that there are parts of the Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System (APKWS) to be sold to Nigeria that are considered "Classified." Below is a screenshot to buttress my point. You realise that the term classified has nothing to do with how the weapon actually works? The algorithms. BAE is not giving Nigeria the blueprints of how APKWS works (and never will in a million years) nor are the Americans with Paveway. Classified information relates to functionality of the weapon, something that all arms deals include. You're getting the crucial/secret information regarding use of the weapon. Flight envelopes, limitations, effect of cloud cover etc etc. Basically the secret information pilots need to know. Side note: That's why it's relatively easy to reverse engineer a purely mechanical system such as a machine gun, but very very difficult for a missile/guided system. You can have your technicians make something that looks similar to a Paveway, but with zero functionality. It's the algorithms that are top secret, and the customer will never have access to them. |

LTGEN: Like I have said repeatedly: 1) It takes time 2) The difference between the U.S under Trump in contrasts to Obama is very deliberate one is willing to sell weapons , real training , real spare parts and the other wasn't. 3) The US has decided it is in their own strategic interest to sit at the table and bring something to the table. 4) Nigeria will not only buy the A29s, they will now most definitley buy a squadron of JF17s 5) I struggle objectively sometimes to understand some of my Naija brothers in the scheme of buying aircrafts (12) relatively speaking for $593 + parts+ classifeid technology transfer+ infrastructure + missles ( guided and unguided) i do not understand qatar is paying $6b for 12 jets from Britain , I wonder what will happen when Nigeria inks a $1b deal just for aircraft? Happy new year Gentleman. Which classified technology and which guided missiles? |
