Except they use pure concrete to to do construction, the sheer weight of goods been moved across and along those corridors will continue to mess up the the roads in no time. The solution is to simply resuscitate the rail lines to the ports and get the containers out through that means.

We know what to do but we simply refuse to do that just for entrenched interest to continue to feed fat on the chaos that is the current reality.
Politics › Re: Aisha Yesufu: "President Buhari Must Resign! Osinbajo Cannot Do Anything" by sshalom(m): 10:17pm On May 19, 2017
Powerful, heartfelt and very appropriate message from a passionate Nigerian woman. All she said are things that should take place in any normal nation but here in Nigeria, we politicize, tribalize and religionize (pardon the last one) everything. This is why we are not moving ahead as a country and the few ones enjoying the juice from the pot would rather keep it so.

Like she said, it will take citizens actions to set our politicians on the right path and wrest Nigeria from the grasps of those who have sworn to choke her to death!

FFK is such a dumb person.

What has FFK or his traitor Father done for the ibos compared to what Buhari has.

He's only being childish..Typical of spoon fed baby adults without home training
It would have be more classy and civil if you had countered his arguments with facts rather than using abusive words. That's clear weakness Bro!

Education › Re: JAMB 2017: Oloyede Made Everyone Look Brilliant by sshalom(m): 12:07pm On May 19, 2017
tdayof:
Getting admitted as a science student will be very competitive this year except the candidate has a good O'level result.

I have seen alot of students with 280-330. Most universities divide Jamb by 8 which means 320/8=40 points. However, most students do not have a strong o'level. Most of the candidates O'LEVEL points will fall into 30 with few having 30-40 points.

This means 40+30=70 points. You should also know most of these guys got less than 320 in jamb. Most are withing the range of 280-304 . So 304/8= 38 points. With total being 68.

What I'm trying to say is most of the science students results are of high score and at the same time this is a big hinderance for them to secure admission as most of them already have a weak waec result. The jamb only compliments their waec which is an advantage to boost their aggregate.

The big issue now is admission. Last year UI medicine and surgery was 71 points with around 170 students to be admitted.. Over 3,000 applicants applied to study at UI and a minimum of 350 applied to study medicine and surgery. Out of the 350, 100 won't meet the cutoff and the remaining students amount to 250.

Now 250 students made the cut or but only 170 are to be admitted. 100 as merit and 70 as cachement. Now the student best bet is to be among the top 100..

Cut off is 71 and a student has 73 while 60 students have 73.4-75 while the rest have 75-75. Now this is what no one likes.

Advice, calculate your aggregate and be sure you're meeting up with cut off or probably apply for change or course to a course where you can cross back to your preferred course

Thank You.
Very good analysis!

LASG should capture all commercial vehicles in a database and create unique identification numbers for each one. This number should be placed on top of each vehicle and should be with LED light.

This will help in seriously reducing the incidences of criminal activities in commercial vehicles and create a quicker platform for law enforcement.
