Romance › My Relation Traditional Wedding (reminiscing Nd Anticipating) by SSpeter(op): 9:35pm On Nov 18, 2015 |
When I got home this evening I saw a wedding invitation on the table, I opened it stared at the names, as I was reading my mum came out I looked at her nd we both started laughing. Definitely the reason for the laughter was not a mystery..."Auntie ti da agba" and the guy picture I saw....ha wahala dey ooo...boys dey hustle gan o...auntie P go give the guy 12yrs if I no wan talk true finish .....just then I remembered when a relation got married and while they were paying her bride price, the groom's family also brought food, and so many items. The men on their part could not read the list nor collect the stuffs they were just wondering and confused....There were several funny scenarios during the wedding. A woman that was served food said in Local dialect....."To God Rose I did not believe I will still eat your rice" ....When the youth leader collected money for the youths what he whispered (in local dialect) was "we have given up on this money 5yrs ago, we won't even protest if no payment is made".....The funniest part of the wedding was when the women were sharing stuffs nd a granny was given a textile material and she said " No we are not supposed to take anything let's just dance and eat "owu ahia kuru aku" (owu njo ahia biko) we shouldn't collect anything let's be happy because they have removed our bad market"......I laughed nd got my ribs cracked....although the man first wife died apparently he was re-marrying.......but these two people I am starring at ...Make I do go iron my "isi agu"...seems this saturday na "crack your ribs".......I know say that guy go lazy...he wan chop woman money ....SMH....well not my business.......make I dey warm up for another drama |

ess145: Its a micro-finance bank do you think employing workforce to screen candidates na beans? A screening of this magnitude costs a lot if you don't know. Most bank screen candidates themselves if it's just a contract position like UBA is doing presently and it is to cut cost. Even kpMg uses the technique to save cost. Now you are talking about 1st nd 2nd screening for micro....wetin.....micro finance never bath....and the guy wey say many ppl dey get success mail, I no knw whether you be bad belle. Sha see the next test b4 you begin add up....you guys dey belittle workforce...I am laffin in orijin......Workforce is more expensive compared to dragnet if you no know...and they handle big manufacturing companies like NB, NBC, FrieslandCamp. etc no underestimate yet |

princfred: Did your forefathers tell you how they sold their own brothers to them. No they don't cos some of our elders are too egocentric lacking sense. ,present themselves as angels or gods while they are too illiterate and barbaric e.g Buhari giving some ministers more than one portfolio while others have none ( what can be more senseless than that ) and Stop blaming only the white people for slavery Blame your forefathers for being illiterate, barbaric and callous enough to sell their people to whites. Remember the whites were also good enough to stop the slavery by themselves even today black nations are selling the economic future of their unborn children to whites and will later tell their children how terrible whites are. Wisen up think for yourselves you are an adult now. ...such sense is seldom displayed on NL...thank God I read something sensible. |

Lordave: Man, you've gotta be kidding me.
Let's assume you're an incorrigible bigot and hates the Hausa-Fulani and Kanuri people who have the most victims of Boko haram with passion, is the bigotry and fanaticism so deep rooted you forgot that when Boko haram was operating in the North Central they were mostly bombing churches and certainly, your precious ethnic group lost tens of people. Did anybody light a candle for them in France? I may not share your humanist perception...but bokoharam are not killing people....they are only eliminating waste and pests.....bokoharam was invited by the Govt to reduce to reduce wastage of resources......and I think they are doing just fine..... |
